I went to USPS website to hold my mail. I didn't know it was not the USPS until I had already entered my debit card. This is my first time having to do this. How can I get my money back? They have me a conf.#.

Thought I was in the USPS website and I ordered a hold on my mail. I filled out the information they required and paid $9.99 on my debit card. They sent me a confirmation. I went to my bank website and found out they already charged my account, which I couldn't stop. I had to cancel my debit card and have it re-issued for safety of my account. I also, emailed them and have had no response.

Went on line and submitted a hold mail request to what I assumed by the address was the US Postal Service. I gave my name, address and the time frame that I wanted to hold the mail. At the end of the application that I submitted I was charged a fee of $9.99 which I thought was unusual, but I assumed it was because the Post Office was losing money due to the use of the internet. They have already taken the $9.99 out of my checking account. The phone number that i8s on their web page is not a working number.

I went on to usps to request a hold mail, the usholdmail.com came up. I thought it was strange charging for mail to be held while away, but who knows these days. I have the proof that I paid, but it has my credit card info on it, so therefore do not wish to attach.

I went into what I thought was USPS site to have my mail held while out of town. I had never been charged before, but thought the postal service, in their increase of stamps, had begun to charge.
I submitted $9.99 and was told today at my local office they do not charge.

I ordered a Hold Mail request on USPS.com and was told that would now cost me $9.99 a year. A week and a half later I ordered another Hold Mail request and was charged another $9.99. I contacted USPS.com and was told there is no fee for Hold Mail requests. Now I am out $19.98 and they have have my credit card number. Pllease HELP !!!

I wanted to have my mail held at the post office. I typed in USPS in my google chrome browser. What came up was USPS Hold Mail. I clicked on that AND paid the money. It wasn't until I had clicked 'submit payment' that I realized that this was not USPS (a coupon code popped up rather than a confirmation. I called my credit card company and emailed USHOLDMAIL.com. I am going to call the post office next. This was a TOTAL scam and also compromised my private information

After speaking with USPS customer service, I tried to access the USPS site to put a hold on mail delivery. This site came up and ONLY AFTER using it (and paying for the hold mail), the 'fine print' said this site was not affiliated with the United States Postal Service! Tried to contact them, but no phone# was listed, only an email address.
This is unacceptable - and sounds like a scam.

I like the other complaints thought I was dealing with the United States Postal Service. I was going out of town and I had requested my mail to be stopped and started. My mail was indeed stopped, but was never started back up. I spoke to the real postal service and they informed me, this was a scam website and to stay clear of them. I was emailing the website and they emailed me back, but my mail still did not start back up. I did let this website know that I would be filing a complaint with the BBB, because this is not how anyone deserves to be treated. I am a disabled individual and it is a hardship for me to go down to the post office to collect my mail. I am thankful my mail is at the post office, and I will make arrangements to go pick it up. People like these need to be stopped.

Thinking I was dealing with the Post Office, I ordered that my mail be stopped for a week. Turns out this is not the USPS and they charged me $7.99. I immediately emailed them to cancel and to issue a refund. Charge is already pending. Never returned my emails.

I thought I was accessing the us postal service web site so I could have my mail held while our of town. When I entered the site it asked for all the information plus requested a credit and a few of 4.99 to hold the mail. Fee said it was for registration. Guess not? Checked bank account and money was withdrawn for the account.
