Selected a shipper through Uship and paid them almost £800. They never picked up anything and have lied about issuing a refund. Uship has said it's not their problem. DO NOT USE USHIP

I've been a carrier on Uship for almost 5 years. The people are corporate office are terrible. Heather Hoover in particular is the worst. I would highly recommend not using this company period. They charge us carriers a 20% fee which is outrageous. But thats not enough, they also then charge the customer or shipper a fee as well. I've addressed several issues to management there and its worse than talking to a wall. They claim to have "experts" in the business working there. There are no experts. Its a bunch of kids working seasonal jobs who dont understand the transport business whatsoever.
I havent met one smart person the entire time I've used their site. They've been smug jerks on many occasions. Majority of carriers on there are not properly licensed for this type of work either. A lot of quick fly by night guys that Uship doesnt verify much at all. So dont use these people. They are terrible and don't know the first thing about transporting.

Everyone that quotes me was a scammer using someone else's company name or the name of a dissolved business. Once you've selected a quote, yahoo adds 10% to you and to them. There are no checks, no assurances and scammers with tons of negative reviews revealing they aren't a real company yet the site isn't taking them off the site.
Additionally, the app and website are poor to navigate, you are not permitted to have a proper conversation of any kind with the shipper before you hand over hundreds of pounds and you wonder if the website is screwing you as much as the scammers. Avoid at all cost. Got a cheaper quote in the end from a legitimate local haulage company with amazing credentials and no commission!

Uship will find some good rates for LTL shipments, but buyer beware! We had several shipments damaged during transit and received no assistance from Uship at all. Since the shipment was contracted between Uship and the carrier (IE UPS, FEDEX, YRC, etc), the carriers will not deal with you for damage claims. Uship washes their hands of any damage by telling you to deal with the carrier. After getting screwed on a half a dozen shipments causing me many thousands of dollars in losses, I have moved on and will never use Uship again. Again, they find some good rates, but you are left holding the bag when something gets damaged.

Hired uShip to transport a trailer from Texarkana to Iowa. The trailer got picked and then left along side the road in Arkansas. The trailer got impounded and is sitting there. uShip says that it is our problem and they wont do anything about it. Terrible customer services!! You get no guarantee with uShip.

Deal directly with a well known shipper. Uship will pass along extra charges after delivery to make up for under quoting freight. They Added $100 for delivering to a large business because it did not have business hours posted on the website and a house was located on the property. REALLY???

They over charge after accepting bid. Extra charge for unknown reason was more than bid. I had quit using them one time before for the same reason. I will deal direct with freight company.

They over charge and add a huge uship fee after accepting bid. Better to call company direct/ Avoid uship as they are just a broker for a broker.

Everybody Sorry to say this, I had a Very bad and poor experience with this company Just because me and my brother have two separate accounts there saying only one is allowed per household which he does not even live with me and because of this they went in an suspended our account saying we "violated the policy". And now got an email: We have made the decision to remove your account at this time. We will not be able to reinstate your account and Member Support will not be able to discuss your suspension over the phone. Per the terms of our User Agreement:18. Right to Suspend or Remove Users.

She gets paid $40 an item .. and had done many items .. She had also received a new iPhone she was going to ship that day also . DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!

They have absolutely no vetting of the shippers.
I have paid through the roof to have my beautiful, $2,000 mattress delivered from New York to San Diego.
It arrived FOUR MONTHS LATE (forcing me to buy a new one), with UNTREATABLE STAINS AT THE BOTTOM.
So thousands in mattress gone, hundreds in shipment cost lost, and a damaged/soiled mattress at the end of it all.

first im gonna address some issues from former reviewers.
1. if you are going to enter an agreement read all of it dont just sign it then act disappointed when something goes wrong.
2. Understand what a transporter is and what is required. its a easy key stroke to find u.s.m.c.a regulations read them. educate yourself as to what requirements are actually in place and who really needs them.
3. uship sells information period. they are not required to mediate on your behalf if you bothered to read it you would know this and the contract laws that apply are in uship's state of business not your's i.e the shipper.
4. What you paid for a item is not relevant to the price That t.s.p is asking to ship it. You are paying for the time driving, the body of experience of the driver and a minimal guarantee its gonna show up.
Now as a former driver .
This co doesn't care about you they get upset when you tell the potential customer you are being charged a booking fee same as they are (the shipper).
I don't have a problem with the company making a profit but penalizing a driver for cancellations and taxing them at a higher rate makes it more difficult to win bids. this is counterproductive for everyone involved
Customers DON'T communicate with you and then complain about poor customer service.
uship tells shippers a estimate of what they should pay. But when asked to produce this model to show how they came up with these figures,
They answer with its an average of what others paid. ( Because all t.s.p's cost are the same across the board right? ) no not really .
They will fire you without notice and you cant appeal.
they dont seem to understand without t.s.p's you dont have a business model.
Maybe they should realize they aren't the only ones in the shipping industry.
In short this isn't a company you can count on they treat like chord wood " stack them up and burn them as you need them"

shipped 3 custom motorcycles from Chicago to the Florida Keys. Site was easy to use and saved over 40% from the last service I used. The trick is to do your homework and check the feedback of each provider and to choose your provider off of this. not necessarily the cheapest. Thanks!

Paid uShip $400 for mattress delivery. Had my $2,000 mattress picked up in August and STILL waiting for delivery now in November.
Deliverer says van is broken down so can't deliver.
So I've lost $2,400 and have nowhere to sleep. Thanks uShip! Appreciate it!
Do yourself a favour and pay for a legit courier.

Uship is not supportive of your requirements.
These guys consider themselves neutral to the customer (ordering shipping) and the shipping service (broker). So don't expect them to assist you if you have any issues or disputes. Although they consider themselves neutral, don't be fooled. They are making money on both sides, and don't vet out any of the contractors on their site.
This will bite you in the ass for sure, and it will definitely bite them in the ass one day if they don't support their vendors and customers.
There are several other broker type sites like this out there and they WILL support you when there is a dispute until resolution.
Do yourself a favor, don't use them. If you do use them, be sure you don't give any of your payment information to the drivers or shipping companies outside of the uship site. Many of them will quote you pricing, them charge you fees separate from uship.
I have now been burned by their lack of "customer service" when it comes to disputed with the shipping services. I will never let my business do any business with this company again.

Uship sent one offer and when I tried to book they refused saying their bid was wrong then they sent me another from the same company and when I tried to book they refused again saying their bid was wrong. Finally got a bid from ATP logistics, Damion was right on it and got it done toot sweet. Pablo delivered truck in the agreed time allotment . Damion kept me informed every turn off the way. The next time I need something shipped I will definitely call ATP logistics.
After I was booked with ATP logistics, UShip continued to send me bids even after my truck was delivered..

I was scammed. First, I was told that I would need to pay an additional $250 for them to Ship my package. Then, I was told (after I paid that like an imbecile) that I would need to pay an additional $500 to ship my package. DONT BUY INTO IT, KEEP YOUR HARD-EARNED MONEY

This site is geared to having illegals working for free.
