Horrible service!!! was using their service for a couple of years then text messages stopping going out my friends family would not receive text randomly ... called customer service got rude service and was told i cannot get a refund dropped their service same day went to a different carrier never going back you guys lost my business forever!

Forgot my phone while traveling and purchased a phone at the airport that came with an Ulta mobile SIM card. After an hour getting it setup I was able to call and text but nothing else. Would not download any apps which was the reason for the purchase to make ride-sharing connections.
Tried contacting customer service but never answered or responding in any way r cept the automated message that they would be in contact. not.
When this card expires will not renew.

In order to use ultramobile you must be tech-savvy enough to follow click by click instructions. If you can change some network settings on your phone you will be fine, but some people seem unable to do that, or to know the difference between international calling and international roaming. 95% of my use is in urban areas or on wifi, so the Tmobile network, which Ultramobile resells, works fine for me. I sometimes tether my laptop to my phone. (I prefer the reliability and speed of wired connections where reasonable.) Ultramobile gets the job done just as well. I do not need handholding; I can read a manual and change settings on my phone myself, so for me this is great. If you cannot imagine going into your settings menu and doing some keystrokes in a cookbook fashion, or you need to get a human at the end of a voicephone I'd not recommend Ultramobile. If you are tech-savvy and can deal with emailing for your customer service don't wait, do it now! I am opening a second account for my wife, and have had to go 100% web based. For the last few days nobody as picked up the phone so that is not optimal, but save me $30 per month per line and you are OK by me.

WORST EVER! My phone keeps going on and off with service when i'm standing in the same place!!!!!! I have to continue turning my phone on and off for it to connect to service.... its like im paying for my phone not to have service!!!! Also, calling in doesnt even help i called 2 times about the same problems and it never got resolved and the man barely spoke english which frustrated me even more ontop of my phone not working for no apparent reason!

This is an absolute crap "service". It works barely in the bigger cities and nowhere outside. It is useless for traveling. If you call them for services, no one answers. Their website works off and on. There is no option to cancel the number, no option to delete the card details on the site, so you are left with the worrying feeling that they can activate your number and withdraw money whenever they please. Yuck!

Ultramobile is the "parent company" or otherwise the same company as Mint Sim (mintsim.com). Mint Sim's customer support is provided by "Ultramobile". Therefore my review for Mint Sim applies here as well.
Ordered 2 plans from them. To pay with my credit card I put in a billing address which is a different state than the shipping address. All of a sudden the email confirmation comes in with addresses changed around (the shipping shows as billing and vice versa).
I immediately wrote an email to support asking to correct the addresses.
But 4 hours later I receive the email confirmation of shipping to the WRONG address! As if they don't even check the order messages!
I then called their hotline, which by the way belongs to "Ultramobile.com". Spent 1 (one!) HOUR on the line, mostly waiting for the rep to "look up my order" or "speak to her supervisor".
She comes back saying they will not do anything about it, EVEN THOUGH SHE AGREES THAT THIS IS THEIR MISTAKE, NOT MINE.
She "suggests" that I call the UPS myself and ask them to re-route the delivery. Note - UPS insists on their website clearly that the SENDER should contact them with such changes, NOT RECEPIENT.
Mint Sim refuses to alter the shipping. They "suggest" that I can claim a refund (up to 3 weeks/15 working days waiting for cash!) and place a new order on their website (which we now know is flawed!).
Really all they had to do is either contact UPS themselves, as a sender, and pay whatever the small fee for UPS to re-route their shipment, or just send out identical new plans to my shipping order without any refund/re-order hassle!!!
Terrible service, terrible attitude from the company, clearly tailored to the disadvantaged population which would not be able to protect its rights.
