This place must be good because my wife walked in... 45 minutes later came out with 2 bags and a receipt for $250. Haha. I'll remember to go in with her next time. I am writing this review because my wife said one of the women that helped her (Trisha?) was very wonderful and super complimentary. She helped her find the shampoo and conditioner that would be best for her hair. My wife walked out in a very good mood. Thanks ulta!

Walked in to buy my Kat Von. Wanted advice on beach foundation. She couldn't help. Didn't try to advise. Miserable. All that product in a store sales don't know product. Went to Sephora. They helped, advised, ooh la la... sorry Ulta... spent 350.00!

Unfortunately, I lost my money with this company. I ordered something for the first time, paid for delivery and nothing. I received nothing. They suggested me to check it with the delivery company and that's all. They don't care and have nothing to do about your order since the money were paid. But why? I ordered the package via Ulta Beauty. They should take care of my delivery.

I really don't get the premium option if it's not true? Just wasted $16 only on SHIPPING, its literally all a scam. It first said it'll get to me today (Oct. 29th) and now its saying Nov. 3rd. Never shopping here again. I'll spend my money somewhere else.

I started using the app before I ever stepped foot in a store because there wasn't one in my area. But there is now and I could spend HOURS in there and have. The ambiance of the whole store layout is just perfect and draws you in. The app also has great exclusive sales and the free membership for points has so many extra perks too! I suggest using the app, where you can live yet on any and all makeup they sell on your phone and get a feel for what you want before you head to the store. I've also used their salon services and had my hair colored twice with fantastic results! All in all, a great company for all things beauty.

Disappointed. I went into Ulta in Albuquerque off of Paseo Del Norte last week and I was ready to drop some bills. I went in looking casual because during Covid, I wear sweats every day. I picked up a new pallet from Urban Decay and walked around looking at other stuff. The security guard and an employee kept following me around and I came very close to telling them off. I think it is rude as hell to judge someone and I will not be going back. I will go to Sephora.

I used to order from Ulta a lot and never had any problems with shipping until they apparently changed the carrier they use. No one knew where the package was, could not get a hold of the carrier (lasership, never heard of this ever) and they had the audacity to ask if I wanted my refund in an e-gift card! Nope! I closed my Ulta credit account, asked for a refund back to my card and will be shopping ONLY on Sephora.com. I understand shipping is crazy with COVID right now but at least use a reputable carrier! Lasership is not good!

Everything they have something that everyone really wants, they sell out. You go intobtheir site the next morning, early like 6 am, and the item is back in stock. What! It just magically appears overnight? I love ulta and their sales and they are fetting new products all the time, but that just irritates the crap out of me.

I have been a loyal Ulta shopper for years, and am a Diamond member. I often shop in the stores but due to COVID 19 have placed orders on line more frequently.
I placed an order last week. It showed it was shipped on 8/21/2020 and then yesterday 8/26/2020 I received an email that it was returned to the warehouse by the carrier. The email said I was refunded.
I want my items that I ordered, did not request a return or refund but in calling Ulta Customer Service both yesterday and today, which has taken over an hour total, plus added frustration, there is still no resolve.
Ulta does not use/ or did not use in this specific situation, UPS, USPS, FedEx but some off shoot of a company and Ulta can give NO explanation as to why my items were returned.
I am so disgusted at such ignorance for an otherwise decent company yet the voice of Sephora is calling my name. Not that far away and I've never had any issues with delivery.
Come on, Ulta, get your act back together. Simple matter made difficult. You were not able to honor my coupon or the free shipping I had at the time of my original order yet would like me to place my order with you again today?

Worst costumer service! Did not get my 400$ refund even though I provided back return number plus E-mail from UPS which said it got delivered! Many many emails, phone calls which took me 5 months frustration! Never ever again and not recommend to anyone!

I'd give negative stars if possible. Horrible. Website doesn't work properly and customer service reps are beyond horrible. Spent over two hours trying to order shampoo. Ended up making 9 (yep you read that right!) calls to customer service because I either got disconnected or their suggestions were useless. Finally got it to work on my own but still can't keep them from saving my credit card info. At their prices, you should be able to at least get descent service. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, I was told there wasn't one. Maybe THAT'S the problem!

Was given about $100 worth of Too Faced cosmetics for Birthday present. (These were purchased because an ulta consultant in Ann Arbor recommended these shades for my complexion) I sent the colors to my mom who purchased for my Birthday. Colors were ALL WRONG. I was told if colors didn't match and was 60% or more still in bottle could exchange. Only 1/2 pump to test on wrist was used from 1 bottle. Other 2 items were NEW. I was REFUSED an EXCHANGE without a receipt. If my mom can't find the receipt I am stuck with $100 worth of product I can't use. Thanks for the crap Birthday present Ulta. Cant use it.

I have been purchasing makeup and skincare goodies from Ulta for a few years now, even have a card. The website is kind of weird to use, but I always manage. Shipping has been quite slow but due to the current pandemic, I do understand. A website overhaul would be great for them, as I don't really frequent my local store as I've only received horrible service the last few times I went.

I was hoping they would add a gift with purchase that I saw after I had placed an order. I saw the email right after I had finalized my order, then immediately pulled up my order, hoping to modify or cancel. Neither option was available. So I sent 2 emails to customer service and told them about my problem and request. Then, they replied with a request for the order number, so I sent it. The response was, you didn't add the gift code on the order, but we will email you offers in the future. I wonder if they even read the first part of my email explaining that their website is not user friendly. Unbelievable!!

I ordered 8:54 today, and was at their store by 10:21. I saw the female that spoke to me on the phone when I was calling the store to get my work. She said if you have not recd. a second email then your order is not ready. Never recd. one email from ulta. 15 seconds later I see her going to get my items of Nioxin and serum. She still did not come outside, waited for me to call again. Then another woman her color skin tone came outside and as the clerk had my order ready she in dispite of knowing I was outside she knew what type of car I had, walked her to get her items carrying my order with her.
Then did not say good morning, I have your order, she told me: " open your trunk" then slammed my trunk door.
Really, is this the best type of help Ulta can do for a curb side pick up? You have very poor reviews and see many are 1*. I am sure Ulta does not know people like these work their stores. I will find my products from now one where I am serviced the correct way and not by my skin color. (white)

I repeatedly return to Ulta because of their amazing selection of products.
I am sadly, never warmly greeted, never offered assistance and when I have asked for assistance, I am treated as if I am a waste of their time. With a background working at The Ritz-Carlton, I know what amazing customer service can do for a company. If only Ulta's customer service in their stores was satisfactory, I wouldn't be disappointed with myself every time I purchased something from them. This has been my experience with their stores for a number of years now; I hope one day I will walk in to see someone that loves their job of helping others.

IF YOU PACKAGE GETS LOST, ULTA DOES NOT REMEDY. Ordered a couple of times on Ulta website. The last one involved an order that is worth 600 dollars. Shipped in 3 packages and I only received 2 packages with a total of 3 items. I received less than 10% of what I ordered. The missing package showed as delivered, however it was not put into the delivery lockers like the other two. brought this issue to Ulta, the first time, the lady at Ulta told me they will reship. Waited for a week, asked again, this time i was told the matter was escalated to The Team and she can't tell me anything about it. Ever since that, they stopped responding to ALL my emails and once i typed in my email address for online chat support, no one helped me. I have escalated this with my bank. NEVER BUYING FROM ULTA EVER AGAIN. WORST ONLINE STORE EVER. NEVER HAVE I BEEN TREATED THIS WAY AFTER SPENDING SO MUCH MONEY. BYE ULTA.

I received an email for a free sampler set after placing an order for $60 or more. I did everything as I should have, the sampler was still in stock when I placed my order, but after my payment was taken the sampler disappeared from my order. I emailed their customer care and was surprised to receive an email stating every reason why they believe it was taken off. Not once made an attempt to fix it, not once was there any sort of apology for their system error, not once was there even any acknowledgement that she even knew what I had emailed about in the first place. I replied explaining what happened, yet again, only to receive another email saying that I didn't qualify for the offers (sent me completely different offers that weren't even available at the time of purchase) and said that's why I didn't get it. After multiple times trying to explain over and over, I gave up. Worst customer experience ever. I will be returning my purchase and taking my business elsewhere.

I received an email to my phone stating I can come in for my Birthday Gift . When I got there the manager was super rude she said I needed to pull up the email on my phone she couldn't have me just give her the email address she had me pull it up on my end inconvenience me and make me feel like I was lying to her, she was absolute rude NO CLASS HAD me wait for 1 hour and made me feel really bad for coming to the store,for something they offer the manager at Ulta at Huebner Oaks in San Antonio is very rude. DIDN'T WISH ME A HAPPY BIRTHDAY VERY SNOBBY AND STUCK UP . The staff is nice, but absolutely clueless. They know little to nothing about their products. I have bought multiple products that have instructions for use on the inside of the packing, and so I’ve asked workers about how to use a product, gotten home, found out the worker had absolutely NO idea what they were talking about, and had to return it because I didn’t have other products that were necessary for use. Do not trust anything that their staff tells you. They will ruin your skin if you listen to their advice.
