I have been a customer with UK2 for over 20 years and I will be ending that today. I clicked and bought the wrong thing and package, I need something else, and so explained my honest mistake. No refunds are possible!
I had every intention of staying with them on a different package bt have now started shopping around.
I would look elsewhere. This is a company who doesn't like loyal paying customers.

I signed up to uk2.net with a view to transferring domain over and also registering a new domain name. Throughout the processes they have been so helpful and the online support chat is fast and efficient. The support ticket system too.
Honestly, I have been unable to fault them so far and I look forward to peace of mind for the longterm now that ive settled in.
Would definitely recommend!

Once Jesu took ownership of my problem he and his team could not have been more helpful, the problem, which I had contributed to, was resolved by a circuitous route that could only be sorted out by a very professional team that understood my problem and were friendly and understanding throughout
I am a 73yr old guy who can use programs but does not understand the technical jargon that a 12yr old learns at school today, so thank you Jesu and your team for tacking me in hand.

customer service staff were very good, when transferred between different sections on a chat line I was not left too long before reconnecting with someone. All the settings I required were done for me and all the questions I asked were answered

I have had a UK2.net email account and pay annually, paid in May for 12 months. September 19th could not send emails. Spoke to chat and was informed that they no longer offer this. Poor service. would not recommend their services.

Had some problems a few years ago with emails being lost but UK2 were not interested. Recently they wrote to me to say they were no longer offering my email account with effect from 16 Sept 2019 and my account would automatically close. They said it was due to updating their system but they offered me the chance to continue if I was prepared to pay. This is just a way to introduce charges, a money raising scheme. Cynical as ever and just plain wrong so moved to another provider where my custom and loyalty will be appreciated.

I managed a website hosted by UK2 for ten years with no problems whatsoever. if I did need any help or advice it was soon given in a friendly and helpful manner.
From this past experience with them I am starting another website which will be hosted by UK2.

Support is ok, but the outages are just unacceptable. Unlike other companies who proudly boast uptime numbers, there’s no such claims from UK2 and I can see why. Our email hosting has dropped twice over the last few months for several hours at a time. As an online business, this has a massive effect on us

I am trying to migrate my email after years of being hosted by UK2.
i am perplexed by their emails which require me to purchase 'something' and yet do not signpost me to the correct product when I log in. if i knew what i was doing i would jump ship to another provider now!

Avoid.. Avoid... Avoid... This company is a scam. For example, they even charge you money for hosting emails (really!), even when you have hosting your domains with them and frustrating thing is that they don't tell you all these hidden charges. Just rip-off. I'd avoid this scammer company. Technical team does not even understand basics like how name server works. I had to spend more than three days to simply transfer my domain and that too, I had to find solutions by myself!!! I'd prefer to pay little more to avoid companies like this....

Not sure why so many negative reviews. Setting up hosting and domain was a pretty straightforward and easy process. The control panel is much more user friendly than what I have experienced before. The support via chat and email was excellent. The dealt with my issues with the SSL certificate and WordPress installation very quickly and in a professional manner.

Unfortunately, UK2 have decided to withdraw their free email service after about 25 years, and they have only given us 60 days notice, no help or guidance and no means of knowing who has mailed us.
As someone who has used a UK2 address for every web site, profile, app, and every piece of email I have sent for 25 years, I'm supposed to somehow magically contact everyone who may have my "old" address, and update every instance in every document.
Will I know if someone has tried to contact me? No - anyone using my old address will just get a 'bounce back'. There is no method for telling them to use XYZ at abc.com instead, And I don't get notified of their attempt either. Useless.
Just picture it - if your main address was just deleted next week and anyone mailing you just gets a bounce back. Every online account, Bank, Music, broadband, Council service, Supermarket - Everything needs to be updated in the next month. Well done UK2! You've created lots of extra work for your customers, and then you have the cheek to say it was a free service. Well so is Trustpilot! It doesn't give you a licence to make peoples' lives harder.
It is an object lesson in annoying your oldest and most loyal customers -- by forcing us to update every instance of our email address ever used. it's crazy. And not even a paid-for redirection service - just a dead and useless email address that is of no use to anyone. RANT OVER

Really bad what they have done to me. I've had an email [email protected] I use it for my business. I've spent thousands on new stationary. Last week a customer called and said an email wouldn't go through. I tried to log of with no joy. So I asked for live help. The have took the email address down with many thousands of other peoples.
I am now losing around 3 thousand pound a month. I can't contact all my contacts because they took the account down. Yeah they made a big mess if my business. I paid £1 a number of years ago to keep my email account for life. Its disgusting and I will be seeking legal advice.

Absolutely appalling service,I purchased hosting on 27/07 3 weeks later nothing. Tried calling cs a number of times to be dismissed. The service I received today was the last straw. Avoid this company at all costs!

Never had such awful customer service and poor quality.
We have had problems since they stopped our forwarder email as they stopped using them in mid September.
All along the way we have received incorrect advice.
Since then we have had lots of periods when email stops working.
our email is somehow being used for spoof emails, but uk2 say no.
Our email needs mx records resetting for the last three days and our account says it is not reconfigured on the account page.
We keep being told it will be fixed in 24 hours, never happens.
3 days of endless complaints and still no fix, even with Jesu from customer services no one has been able to sort this out.
We are running a business with no email or website!! losing custom every day.
i would advise you not to use this company!

TBH, I have had too much down time already and looks like I'll need cloud to stop that.
Also the support its just not attentive enough. I have several days and no replies.
