4days for delivery to the U.K. with Dhl express, like meany others I’ve read the reviews and find them a drain, all these people must be blind. On the order page once you click shipping and pick how you would like it shipped, there is a pay duties and fees opinion that pre pays the customs charges meaning it flys stingy threw, yes shipping is almost $20 with the fees pre paid on a $50 doller order, but when ordering from the USA this is standerd, I believe people need to read the pages in front of them, choose the right shipping and pre pay your fees, I order a lot from China so amused to feeling with DHL and the fees that come along with buying goods from outside the U.K., all these bad reviews could be easily solved by people reading and prepaying instead of getting everything in life for free

Been ordering for years, orders always come on time and well packaged. I see a lot of people giving bad reviews over customs fees - you're supposed to understand your own country's rules, geez. I never order over 75usd because then I will get charged with customs fees. iHerb is not guilty if you don't know how to google, there is a warning about customs fees when you check out. It's your responsibility to check.

I don't think it is fair for ppl to leave this many 1-star ratings simply because they failed to ...well, think. iHerb do notify during ordering process that there may be an import charge - it is then your own job to figure things out. It is stated clear as day.
People nowadays have lost all sense of responsibility!!
iHerb is NOT a scam, they are in fact a reputable company.
If you, my dear fellow Brits, don't want to pay import duties, buy locally. You can't buy an american product and not pay import duties, the world simply does not work that way.
Grow up already and stop moaning, the Queen is not proud of you.

I've made many orders from iHerb all were delivered quickly and the quality was excellent. By staying within my own country's import allowance, I've never been charged anything extra. I can't understand why people are complaining about customs charges/import tax, these have nothing to do with iHerb, you need to contact the authorities of your own country to complain, European countries, especially the UK have ridiculous, draconian taxes on even low value items, instead you're just whinging on here.

I've been ordering from iHerb for 5 years to multiple countries and NEVER had any problems. It is because I always do my research regarding international shipping. Also always do your research if you're not sure it's a UK vendor (iHerb is not).
People do not realise that such huge taxes is not the vendor's fault. If you go to gov.uk page and search for 'Tax and customs for goods sent from abroad', you can see for yourself.
After learning this information, you should know that you pay taxes after ordering for more than 15£ because of the rules and regulations of British government. Also, additional handling charges depend on the delivery company you choose.
Other than that, iHerb is an amazing site with exceptional prices and it even has a great rewards system.

Over the past 2, 2 1/2 years I've placed 10 orders in iherb.com. Even though there had been some minor issues (products spilled during transit) the customer service was always very helpful and refunded me immediately for the damaged products.
One of the things I love most about iherb.com are their (most of the time) reasonable international shipping rates (I always choose the cheapest delivery option, not DHL). I've never had any problems with delivery either, in some cases my package arrived even earlier than estimated.
Therefore, I was really surprised to read all the negative feedback on this site. From some of the reviews, I gather that there were problems with having to pay import duties and taxes. To that, I just want to add: If you order from outside your country (be it from iherb.com or from anybody else), you always have to expect to pay import duties and taxes. Since every Country has different regulations for this, it's impossible for iherb.com to do anything else than to state you might have to pay those when your order is delivered (which is mentioned in your cart).
I would also like to add (especially for the people who are considering shopping at iherb.com) that most people don't leave reviews of any kind unless there is a problem. Therefore, while there certainly have been some problems with shopping at iherb.com, that is not the norm, but the exception! (that's true for most companies and review sites...)

As a U.K. Buyer im quite surprised by some of the reviews here. iHerb is not responsible for your importation fees, its uk tax you get charged on orders over £15 coming from outside the EU, nothing to do with iHerb. You would be charged the same way if you went through Royal Mail.
Iherb has been nothing but great, I order from there regularly and I use the most basic shipping method. Packages take about a week to arrive, quality goods at discounted prices, wonderful!
Would highly recommend

As someone who is a delighted, loyal customer of IHerb, I really do feel that these negative reviewers need educating on how the customs laws work in the UK, as IHerb are being given a negative rap for something beyond their control that they pre-warn you about at checkout, and they don't deserve this because they are a fantastic company to purchase from. Any item purchased from outside the EU that has a value above £15 will be subjected to a vat import fee, along with a £10 admin fee; something that is enshrined into UK law and beyond IHerb's control. However, there are some very simple ways to avoid these costs, or keep them to a minimum. Firstly, IHerb offer ridiculously cheap international postage options (way cheaper than most UK suppliers charge for delivering within the UK) for single items, so all you need to do is individually purchase single items that have a value under £15 and you will not get charged any additional taxes. If your order value goes beyond £15, your best option is to purchase as many items as possible (below a value of £145) and select the "DPD-All Inclusive" postage option that has a flat rate of £7.74 which allows you to pre-pay any customs charges, so you know exactly where you stand before you make your purchase, and because you don't have all the additional admin fees that get charged when the item arrives at customs in the UK, it works out to be a much cheaper option than choosing the cheaper postage options that require you to pay the import duties when you order arrives in the UK. With this option, you'll also be given a 1 hour delivery time slot on your day of delivery, meaning that you won't have to stay in all day waiting for delivery.
I have ordered several times from IHerb and I have always received my order within 8 days with even the cheapest postage option. I have saved myself a fortune compared to purchasing in the UK, and it really does annoy me to see such an excellent company being given a bad rap purely because of ignorant UK customers who couldn't be bothered to read the information on IHerb's website during checkout that clearly states import charges may apply, or get themselves educated on how UK customs laws work.
So to conclude, IHerb are a fantastic company who have never let me down once, and if you follow my simple rules regarding either avoiding or keeping import duties to a minimum, you will save yourself a lot of money compared to purchasing the same items in the UK.
