I have been ordering from iherb for a very long time now and I used to be very happy with every order. (As they ship from the US I keep my order under £12 and I haven't had an issue with duty). The last 2 years I have received some defective or even dirty looking products (I don't know how anyone could even pack these without thinking twice?) and had to really push to get a refund as I was not happy. They do not provide (for UK customers at least) an exchange and they don't refund full shipping costs. My recent order was for a sunscreen, the use-by had been short for a while so I waited until a much longer one came into stock then I purchased it. It came with the former short date. I queried this and was told firstly I was wrong (I screengrabbed the page of it still showing the long date) and then they said well we don't have any others so that's it. Well its still showing the longer date a week after my email, so they just sent me an old one but wouldn't do anything about it. Only a small issue but I feel its got to a point where its very difficult to get a solution when they do not put the right info online. Wish it could go back to being as efficient as it used to be. Although I will still order from them as they provide a good range of products not available in the UK.
