They got the Iraq War wrong. Big miss. They censor reader comments that are critical of the paper or reporting. Many of their recipes are inaccurate; yet they charge a premium for access. Subscriptions are overpriced. They disclose with anonymous sources israeli tactics to infiltrate Iran. Why tell our enemies this? All this for starters.

NYT has turned into one of the least serious daily publications that has ever been published. It's daily fodder of propaganda would cause a Russian to blush. The entire existence of the NUT is no longer to report current events snd news, but to spew trash, lies and figments of their imagination. Recall the coverage of Russia, Russia, Russia. We now know there was no basis for this false tale that was covered extensively by NYT. Yet, this yellow rag has yet to retract nor has it apologized. This is but one example of the myriad of false stories published by this rag. The list is endless. Gone are the days of facts, proof and integrity. Instead, we are dealing with slander, libelous twisted rhetoric from biased, propagandists worse than any Russia has ever employed. Supposition, innuendo, idle gossip; this is today's New York Times.
Kept charging me and I don't know how to cancel subscription, so stupid - lack of integrity and want my money back

I am so disappointed in the New York Times subscription service at this time of COVID-19. I had a subscription which I canceled due to closing my bank account. I was assured, in writing, that my account would be good until the end of the month. They lied. NYT closed my account and are refusing to deliver the paper, saying they will issue a refund (to a closed account)! It takes 2 weeks. HA HA! How long did it take them to take my money out of my account? 2 minutes.

Premier news site. Every person has a bias as does every news site. What matters is that they report all the news and not push unsubstantiated rumors or conspiracies and if they do they report them as such. It's in our hands to decide what to do with the information.

The NY Times relentlessly polarizes us at a time when the US needs to be brought together. Half truths, spin and Pulitzer arrogance so brilliantly weave a path to irrelevance. What a waste.

I used to have a better opinion of this site until the recent (2016) demonstration of editorial bias that has eclipsed their role as reporting news and put them squarely into the role of attempting to create news and shape public opinion for the sake of a political agenda (the blatant campaigning for Hilary Clinton and subsequent demeaning reportage of Senator Sanders).
As it is, this paper is now more in the mold of a Hearst-style, dynastic mouthpiece for special interests and is not completely trustworthy as an unbiased source of news.
They periodically institute an extraordinary blocking of commentary on their site that goes beyond their stated moderation guidelines as well.
Caveat Emptor!

Overall the site is not bad. I always liked the newspaper layout and the layout of the site blocks.

Sadly, the NY Times has devolved into a news organization where competent reporting is non existent. Their hatred of President Trump overrides any concern for accurate reporting. Years ago, we used to cite freedom of the press as a guardian of democracy decrying foreign news media as nothing more than propaganda. That's what the Times has become. The role they play in misinformation harms the public and democracy and should be punishable by law.

Don't subscribe because it's extermely difficult and a waste of time to unsubscribe. They have no easy way to unsubscribe. So don't bother. It's unfortunate regarding this. it's been hell.. big waste of time trying to get off the site. Call and you wait an hour or more. Text nobody responds... online chat.. they tell you to call or text.. so based on this I don't recommend.. find another news paper and check out their unsubscribe methods before you invest...

Every news company is biased, but at the very least their values are what matter as well. Dont be fooled, that aside this site is not too bad, but for the love of god the planet is already going to crap, at least shoe us some good news about humanity to give people hope, encouraging both governments and citizens to do more

Impossible to access their articles without their glorious paywall. As a subscriber, getting my card canceled after the subscription period was close to impossible. The worst customer service I have ever encountered in my life.

Fake news, dishonest "reporting", biased communist agenda. Please remember that the nyt took the side of the Nazis during WWII, denying the holocaust. There is nothing of any value in this giant sheet of toilet paper.

Nowadays it is difficult to find good journalism. It is a pleasure to read well-written and researched news and long research articles, my favorite topics are mostly about food and arts,I highly recommend to read it on a daily basis.
