This review is aimed only at the Moore Street branch in Toronto. It’s been almost two years to try to cash out RESPs that my adult kids no longer want/need. First time around, met with an inexperienced MF rep. Her lack of knowledge wasn’t the key issue but her lack of accommodation was so I ended up dealing with the then, br manager. He left me hanging with no word on the status of the paperwork. Called a few weeks ago only to find out he had left the branch and no one took over his unfinished business transactions...at least not mine. The young customer service rep was mouthy, cocky, rude, interruptive and arrogant. When I pointed out his rude conduct with me, he shouted THANK YOU! over the phone at me. Wrote a letter to the new branch manager about the RESPs but also this unacceptable behaviour from this rep. New manager calls me. I knew she was a problem from the start just with her tone. Came across, herself, as cocky and arrogant with me and didn’t even talk to me nor apologize to me for her rep’s behaviour. Who honestly wants to deal with that??
Went to another branch close to my work. Much better experience. Sad really. Never had any other staff problems at this branch before and shouldn’t they be even more kind and accommodating with everyone dealing with the damn pandemic???
