I used to order through Talabat a lot. But honestly your customer "don't care" service is just... unbelievable.... Waiting for food 2,5 hours no reply from the Sms tracking system. When you call to a land line it just goes down. And that "smart" robotic online answer system just drives me crazy ! You just made me to delete my account with Talabat permanently, bravo!

Today was the last straw with talabat, I'll uninstall it for good. When you are working and you rely on talabat to deliver food to the office at a reasonable time (I would be okay with up to 2 hours when it comes to talabat) but after 3 hours of waiting, you decide to do the logical thing and contact the customer care which somehow manages to make the problem seem x100 times worse because a-it's so frustrating chatting with them cuz there's no customer care number,b- long waits,c-unsympathetic and uninterested and simply lies and seems to be trying to get it over with, d- so far with all the issues (so many) i had with the delivery they have never offered me a satisfying solution to my problem, the best you can get is a refund (after 2 days) or an apology and empty words. Day at work actually ruined with no lunch and headache accentuated, so today after contacting them after the 3 hour delay I was informed that the restaurant canceled the order based on MY request and all they offered me was a refund, in a most unsympathetic way. If I didnt contact them there was now way for me to know the order was canceled, it was showing delivered on my app

I have ordered many times from this app and never had any issues. Unfortunately, I ordered two different takeaways on one evening, but got charged 4 times for 2 orders. I sent over my bank statement to customer services which clearly shows 4 charges for 2 orders and they are refusing to give me a refund for the overcharging. They have robbed me of my money (which would be very easy for them to see on their system that they've overcharged) but instead of refunding me, I have received patronising emails. Awful awful company. Do not use them or you'll be scammed.

I ordered food and they cancelled the order without me telling them I have been waiting for 2 hours strait and they still didn't didn't get me anything or text me or call me that is so bad and rude I don't like this and I don't prefer anyone using this it happens to me around 2 or 3 time this is not okay

We like to refer to our Thursday nights as "Talabat Night". We have been ordering through the Talabat platform since it was established years ago. With years of service, you would think that a company that has been in operation for as long as Talabat has, would learn from its mistakes and make an effort to improve.
Sadly, this is not the case and we have fallen victim to mishap after mishap with this sorry excuse of a company. The repeated mistakes are sometimes blunders that can be excused but the recurring incompetence demonstrated by Talabat Go and the Talabat customer service team as a whole is an issue that needs to be addressed.
The restaurant should be held liable when an error is committed on their part. However, as soon as that order is out the door and in the hands of a Talabat Go driver, the responsibility of getting that order delivered on time and in a presentable/edible state rests with the driver.
My order arrived tonight almost 2 hours after placing it through the Talabat platform. I followed up continuously with several different customer service representatives and was fed excuse after excuse as to why the order was late from "there's a lot of traffic" to "the driver is lost" to "the driver is just outside!".
I should not have been surprised when the driver finally did arrive almost 2 hours later and handed me an open, unstapled, damp bag with its contents strewn throughout. Needless to say, the food was cold.
The worst part, however, was spotting the delivery man slip his hand into the already open bag of food and help himself to some of my fries as he made his way down the corridor to my door. I handed the disheveled bag back to the driver and thanked him for coming out. I hope he enjoyed my dinner.
At this point, I got right back on the phone to Talabat yet again to explain to probably the sixth customer service agent I had spoken to today that my order was delivered late, was not packaged properly, was cold and was being eaten by my driver!
Talabat customer service agents are quick to throw out lines like "I am so sorry" or "I understand", but they are just useless words that carry little substance if nothing is done to rectify these errors that occur almost every single time I order food through their platform.
The best part was when I got a call from a Talabat agent only minutes after filing a complaint with a previous agent, to let me know that my order that I placed over 2 hours ago is now on its way!
Please do yourself a favor and order directly from the restaurant rather than putting yourself through the misery of having Talabat coordinate your order. By the time your food arrives (should you be fortunate enough to receive your order in full and not a half eaten moist bag of food), you will have already lost your appetite from having to follow up and deal with incompetent customer service agents. Following my horrible experience, I ask that you please do not accept any food delivered by Talabat Go unless it is properly packaged and sealed. Otherwise, prying hands may just treat themselves to your bag of food as if it were an invite to an open buffet

I ve placed an order then 40min later revived text order will be cancelled I called Talabat they say it restaurent who cancelled as driver called you but no answer however I didn't receive any call from anyone and why would it be cancelled without my permission!I ve called directly the restaurent this time they stated that Talabat canceled your order and they sent us a message !!
When I called Talabat for solution they say it not us we can only refund so I was juggling in the middle within this poor service and would they canceled order after long period of time of waiting !!and why you can't reorder it not my mistake it yours !!the only solution is refund and do it all again that very unprofessional!!!!!

Horrendous. I am so glad they are starting to loose customers. They is what they get for taking the food business lightly and making people hangry. Had my food come 2 hrs and a half late! Are u insane!!! 2 and a half hours?!

Talabat is unreliable and the customer service is awful. My parents were away and me and my brother were starving and decided to order food. I hate talking on the phone so we used Talabat. I ordered a burger for my brother and mention it have no onion, ketchup, or pickle. The site didn't recognise this and it came with all three of those things. We took this up with customer service and they were extremely rude and patronising, refusing to admit their website had glitched. They refused to replace the order with a new one. Awful service indeed.

very very slow service this is the fifth time i order and the i receive the food after 2 hours i keep on complaning during the 2 hours the costumer service is very bad and unhelpful i tried cancelling my order but they told me the order is already on the way . i will never use ttalabat again

@Talabat hires people who barely speak English, Arabic or basic language of Directions! I had several terrible delivery experiences because the delivery guy doesn't know the difference between behind & 'in front'! I almost had a heart attack today trying to lead him to my place. My food eventually came, not only late, but cold and not really edible. The only reason I used Talabat after several bad experiences was because the outlet 'Belgium waffles' only delivers through them, but I think I'm going to pass.

It says no minimum order yet they called me and would not accept my order as the restaurant requested does has a minimum order which is not noted online or the application.

For the second time in the row an hour after placing my order I contact the restaurant and they tell me that Talabat havent gave them my order I check my track your order on the app and it shows that my order has been placed I called Talabat and they blame the restaurant but my previous order was with another restaurant so the fault is definitely with Talabat . Terrible customer care very disappointing

Wish I could give them minus points.tried ordering from a restaurant from which I previously ordered and it says selected area is not accurate.after chatting with Talabat customer service staff he says the restaurant doesn't deliver at your location when the restaurant still shows that it does deliver at my location before I could say anything else the chat was logged off..the food when it's delivered takes around 90 mins easily.my suggestion would be to stop using this app as it's not professional like uber eats in certain countries.I tried Talabat in Qatar btw where there are hardly other food delivery apps unfortunately.however,I will be trying the app Carriage heard its better than Talabat .Save yourselves the horror guys and don't order from this app.

Would never use Talabat Go again. Order took 3 hours, and then came half missing and half destroyed. Customer service was unapologetic and unhelpful.

YET AGAIN!! yes again!! They messed up the order then during the next 2 hrs after my order was placed promised to call me back. Absolutely disgusting customer service. Robotic, like they're reading off a script. won't answer yes or no when I ask if I will receive a replacement order. Then ask ME to call THEM back in 15 mins if the order doesn't arrive again. Only for it never to be replaced anyway. The last time I waited 4 hours. Both occasions the order was just 1 small pizza for 1 person. I can't imagine how they'd cope with a big order. Talabat has an extremely poor service and when u order from them its a big regret because they will follow up on your order as the same time u are promised you will receive the food so basically you are waiting for 2 hours to receive your order.... so my suggestion just order directly from the restaurant itself and not Talabat! Poor poor customer service and lazy call center.

Talabat's own delivery service in Muscat is extremely poor. For example, today I ordered from McDonald's. The driver called me and then disappeared. I called customer service 5 times. Every time they have same reply "Our concerned department will follow up with you". The 'concerned department' does not care. I have stopped using Talabat after several terrible experiences.

They dont even deserve one , I ordered today and there was a driver from talabat who should deliver the food , he came with no bill and took 10% more than the exact amount plus I found that 1 item is missing after complaining and calling many time the very very pooor call center with lazy and poor supervisor they promised he will come and apologize and return the amount he was taking by force as tips and the cost of the missing amount , and guess what notttthing happened he never showed up , can u all believe it they couldnt control their driver from stealing from people and his bad attitude and they completely did nothing .
I really hope that the CEO Abdulhamid Al Omar know that is poor unprofessional stuff no with customers and try to solve it before its too late , I will for sure remove any payment credit card details before closing the account as its not safe at all to deal with those people
