I ordered my bike at starkdrive.bike and it was delivered to me in portugal in just 4 days! it was the perfect bike for me with a really powerful motor that seems to be made by stark drive because it has their name on the motor. it really helps me to get around town and the hills to the center are no longer a problem and i just glide right up them. its a night and day difference to my old bike where i would be struggling to get my weekly shopping done.
I also love that i was easily able to add components to the bike like the throttle which was not included on the default bike, i guess due to rules in the EU about this but the add on was simple to install and took my bike shop only an hour to do so with the help and guidance of the professional and hard working folks at Stark Drive.
The white color i was sent really stands out from the crowd and i have a smile on my face whenever i use it not to mention that it does attract a lot of attention and its a great conversation starter.
these styles of bikes in my area were more than double what i paid for the stark bike and dont look nearly as good nor do they offer the same features so im impressed at what the company has sold me for little cost.
im really looking forward to the future bikes that stark has coming and i want to get one for my family which seems possible as the new bike lets you share it with anyone by using your fingerprint which is amazing, now fingerprints on a bicycle!
the service has been excellent with most of my questions being answered in MINUTES.
Thank you for your help!
A very satisfied and dedicated stark fan!

I can not say enough about the outstanding customer service I received from this company! We ordered a bike for my husband for Christmas but did not realize that due to timing he did not have the opportunity to customize the order to meet his needs. Customer service personnel retrieved the original order before it shipped and worked with us to identify the bike he wanted. Everyone was very helpful and went beyond all expectations to finalize our order. The bike shipped immediately and we received it today. What an awesome company with fantastic people!

Solid bike, very well built.
Got it yesterday after a long wait - relatively speaking - 7 months.. Took it for my commute today and satisfy so far. Ride well and maintain a good steady speed.
As i got the Advanced version with all bells and whistles, i am still learning how the whole things reacts and mostly, what button does what...
I went through FAQ and not really found any links on « Getting started » with this bike.... any suggestions?
Also, how do we modify that max speed!?

It’s been far too long that I have not left some comments about my stark bike i managed to get to Russia.
I bought this bike as a "last mile" solution to commute to work on our local light rail system. I take public transport and the restrict any bike that does not fold so stark was perfect So far it has been great. My first test loop was over 17 km with barely any pedaling and I got back with over 60%, probably a little over, of battery life. I'm a heavier rider so that's great in my opinion. Maybe one day I'll ride the full distance straight to work, but I have no doubts the battery will last.
I put a rear disc-brake compatible rack on it with a pannier to carry my work stuff and it fit perfect, great clearance and no compatibility issues. I also love the bike computer that’s included , as electric bikes are a bit of a gray area on local bike paths, with a 25km speedlimit being the accepted in the EU but no such problems in Russia.
The only thing that might be a downside (to me), and I'm not taking off stars, is this bike gets a LOT of attention. People commenting on it, saying "wow that's electric?!", asking how much I paid and where I got it. I fee like an electric bike evangelist. I'm a quiet guy and would rather not talk to people on my commute most days, but some people might like that.
So thank you stark for making something I could afford. It was even tax free for me in Russia as it’s purchase was under $1000 and I took it in as personal.

I've had two electric bikes before this and though they were nice, they're nothing compared to the Stark Drive City. This bike is superb and quite luxurious. The mere design is breathtaking and the performance is second to none. I enjoy long drives with the marvellous bike and nothing beats having the wind blowing through your hair on a cool afternoon.
The locking mechanism is very clever and saves me time from worrying if someone will tamper with my battery.
I'd definitely recommend anyone to try this and if their as happy as I am just give me a thumbs up.

Stark Drive has come!
I have been hearing a lot of things about e-bikes. They say it is good for the environment and that it is pocket-friendly. However, I have also heard that its power is limited so it is not recommended for use in challenging terrain. Also, I heard people complain about you just need to take it as it is since there is nothing that you can customize about it. Still, because of a friend’s recommendation (and a bit of persuasion), I decided to give it a try. I got the same one as his e-bike – the Stark Drive.
The reason why I need a bike is because the bust stop is a bit far from our home. I like walking but only when it’s just leisure walking. I usually get on the bus out of breath and out of style. I was thinking of what I can do to change that. Well, waking up earlier than usual is quite a challenge for me so I came up with another solution – get a bike that I can ride from the house to the bus stop. This is why I opted for the Stark Drive. It is foldable so I can easily carry it with me in the bus whenever I go to work and ride it again from the bus stop to my house.
I am a bit shorter than most people so I find it quite hard to find a bike that I can ride comfortably. As I thought that I do not have any choice, I got a conventional bike even though I am not comfortable in riding it. I can raise its seat and I can lower its handlebars so I can easily reach it.
It takes only about three hours to fully charge the Stark Drive’s empty battery. When fully charge, I can travel up to a total of 40 kilometers.
There are times when I have to work until the evening so it gives me peace of mind that my e-bike’s battery is locked. I know that I will never get out of the office, tired and stressed out, just to find out that somebody stole my bike.
This is what I love most about the Stark Drive – comfort. Its saddle is uniquely comfortable. One weekend, I rode my bike for hours but I did not feel sore at all. Now I know that I do not need to worry about such pains and just enjoy riding my bike.
There was a time when I had a question about the bike and I am amazed with the company’s customer service. The person I talked to clearly knows what he is talking about – product information mastery, polite and professional communication, and what I commend most is their active listening skills. I never had to repeat myself and hurt myself explaining my inquiry. I had a stress-free pre-purchase customer service and I also got a hassle-free post-sale customer service!

Got my bike back in the spring. Been riding it all summer. I actually went for the low model due to the taxes that I have to pay here. It arrived to my door with just having to put a few piece on. Love the assist when traveling in the hills around my place. The price was 599 plus taxes which is super cheap. Had to adjust some parts here to get it working perfect but it was easy as the bike came with a multi tool feee in the box.
There is a lot of competition right now in the cheap end of the engines and I was never interested in spending 2000 on a bike.
I’m looking forward to the new models they have planned and want to get the mini railhead about for even less but I think this will not work so well on hills.

The bike I received was more or less in-line with the quality one would expect for the price. All told, my 500w version with suspension was around $1,050 US delivered to California. I have two issues with the bike that have resulted in a low rating:
1) When the bike arrived, the brakes were not properly adjusted and the disks are warped. After only two rides, one of the two bolts holding the front brake caliper fell out, it apparently was not properly torqued at the factory. As well, both the front and rear brakes flutter and do not provide linear stopping due to warped brake disks.
2) Pedal assist: after roughly 5 rides on the bike, the pedal assist stopped working at all. The electric motor can only be engaged by using the throttle which I find to be quite annoying. I have physically inspected the crank sensor and it appears to be lined up properly and all the wire connections appear to be solid. I contacted STARK and they told me to take the bike to a local repair shop - at my expense, they only offered to replace any defective parts that the shop may identify.
Going forward, I would only buy a bike from an established company that will honor basic warranty requests as this bike is not really usable in its current state. I am heistant to go spend more money to chase down the crank sensor issue since there is no documentation on the cycle computer and I am not sure if it is a setting issue or failure of a component.
I am order #684, placed in June 2017 for Batch #2
My review is back on the site after STARK filed a number of false claims with Trustpilot that my review was not legitimate. I included my name and order number with the original review but STARK still went ahead and claimed that I was not indeed a legitimate customer even through they have all the data to verify such. I am by no means a STARK hater and am in fact rooting for STARK's success. But how can a company succeed when they are spending more time and resources trying to muzzle legitimate complaints than focusing on true customer service to ensure the product shipped actually works. I suggest STARK work with customers to repair/address real product failures and the negative reviews will melt away based on the goodwill they engender. Just my suggestion.

I have now had a chance to try this bike from a friend after he bought it online. the bike seems to operate very quickly and it requires no stress to use the pedals. I was in shock it was only 600 USD which is about (38000 rub), you can not even get a regular bike of good quality for this price in Russia. I will be investing in one of these bikes for myself very soon.

I am an American presently residing in India.
When my cycle arrived it did not have a battery.
1) **Update: Received battery today, and it was the battery I ordered. The plastic casing on one end of the battery was broken but using tape to seal it seems workable. The bike was received on May 18th, the battery on June 26th.
The cycle was ordered in September of 2017 and the first estimated shipping date was late October 2017, several other estimates were also missed along the way.
Lowering the review to 1 star again. Stark Drive refuses to acknowledge the $400 that they said was for pre-payment of India duties, that they accepted as pre-payment for India duties was ever actually intended for India duties.
2) SUMMARY/FACTS: Total support/fees paid to receive my Stark Drive are now as follows:
a) Total cost to me of $2,292.35.
b) Cycle with options as ordered $1,611.
c) Import duties of $681.35.
The cycle was supposed to come with a 500 watt motor, and the import duties were pre-paid as per instructions from Stark Drive. The cycle I received has 350 watt motor.
a) The motor was not upgraded to 500 watts (paid $175).
b) On the cycles arrival in India I was told by Stark Drive that my import duties were not pre-paid (pre-paid $400).
c) Total overpayment $575.
This financial problem remains unresolved.
Stark Drive said that the cycle would be destroyed in customs on “that day” if I did not pay the duties. I paid money for the duties, in this case directly to customs.
I have copies of earlier emails from Stark Drive confirming that the duties were pre-paid.
Stark Drive refused to refund the money, offered me a CREDIT. They did not specify whether this credit would be for only the $175 motor upgrade or if it would also include the $400 for pre-paying the import duties (per their originally stated policy).
The actual import duties/fees totaled $281.35. Stark Drive said I needed the $400 import duties deposit to cover currency flucuations.
Stark Drive states they no longer ship to India, so I am not too clear on how any credit could be used.
After having Stark Drive simply state "[your $575] slipped through the cracks" as an explanation of the problem and the lack of any tangible acknowledgment of said credit of unspecified amount I don't have a lot of confidence in the representations of Stark Drive.
NOTE: Stark Drive communications do not include an employee name or any type of employee ID number.
The vague nature of the replies is in my opinion a very poor business practice at best, a cover for a lack of integrity at worst.
These are not my only concerns about my having backed Stark Drive. This is enough and I can let the other concerns go...
NOTE: I have copies of all email communications with Stark Drive stored in order, in a Microsoft Word document and all of this can be verified.
The responses to my emails were sometimes polite, often quite short and I often found the tone to be rude. Questions, when answered at all, were not complete answers. An example being the "we will give you a credit" without specifying the amount... there are many others.
Realizing from the outset that this was a crowd funding campaign I have been quite accepting of the numerous delays and always aware of the risks of dealing with a start-up.
I really wanted to, and still may, be able to write a more positive review of Stark Drive but believe that it is important to let other potential backers realize the problems that I have experienced with this company.
My goal of using the Stark Drive to travel in India, click photos and share my experience of what I think can be a world changing technology (quality electric bicycles) is not yet realized.
Blogging as an American in India using electric cycle and clicking nice photos of beautiful India... sounded like fun to me.
Stark Drive, in my opinion is very quick to blame India, blame shippers, blame suppliers, and very poor in terms of accepting responsibility and acting with concern for their backers. This based on my experience primarily, but also based on the tone and content of some of their blog postings (subjective, I admit).
**Update: If I had received the 500 watt motor and if Stark Drive had either not had me pre-pay duties, or paid the duties with my deposit, my review would be at least 3 stars. For now I am going to use the bicycle for awhile and see what the situation is with the $575 in options/duties is before amending the rating further.
I would not have backed Stark Drive had I known what my experience with them would be. Still think the idea of electric cycle is a really good one...
The stated price of Stark Drive is more than reasonable, the actual price with shipping, duties etc. is closer to their competition.
The servicing and communication issues are huge, big problem.
The cycle is working good. The price, even with all of the extra charges, is probably in line with what a good electric bike might be.
I would love to be able to endorse Stark Drive but I will not. Their business practices preclude me being able to recommend them to anyone.
There where were multiple misrepresentations from Stark Drive including in their attached reply (no use working myself into a lather to prove this...).
Stark Drive seems to think that the fact they offered what they describe as a "loss leader" in India entitles them to using misrepresentations to keep to recover what they see as a loss. Doesn't cut it, BE AWARE.
Dealing with them on these issues was painful, and a total waste of time. Taking the time to carefully document to Stark Drive what the problems with this order were was not worthwhile. I am not going to repeat that mistake. My life, aside from when I have worked to communicate with Stark Drive is just too nice. Why worry.
I have no more to say.

-Edit- 09OCT2018 I followed with Stark Drive after a few e-mails went back and forth. I can understand that they can't give me a refund or exchange for a smaller bicycle. Why they cannot provide manuals, detailed specs or configurations for any of their components used in constructing the bicycle is a mystery to me. Additionally, they said I would not get my fenders that I had previously paid for until I removed my negative review. There it is. Stark Drive conducts business in a wholly unethical manner. Goods paid for have not been received and by their last e-mail will not be sent until I remove my review.
-Edit- 20SEP2018 I contacted Stark Drive after receiving a voicemail from someone claiming to be Oscar and was instructed to follow up with an e-mail as they wanted to discuss my situation and improvements they could make. I did reply via e-mail and was told I could have the fenders I had already paid for if I took down my negative review first. Well, the negative review will remain because they don't care about making things right. Case in point. If they truly cared about the backer experience, their image or their ratings, they'd verify my shipping details and send the fenders I've been missing since March without worrying about my one negative review.
-Edit- I removed my Customer Order Number from this review on 06JUN2018. The original review was posted on 05JUN2018. How is it that this company can monitor Trust Pilot with such efficiency and vigor, but not respond to the simple requests of their customers and supporters? To reflect their petulance, I have changed my review from 2 to 1 star. I'm willing to change the review or remove it, if the company would work to resolve these glaring issues in a timely and professional manner.
I should have seen the red flags and saved my money. When I first explored the possibility of purchasing an affordable pedelec. There were a handful of options in my price range. I chose This crowdfunded project because they promised good service and a top notch bicycle. I had questions about the size of the bicycle and if it would be a good fit for me. I'm an experienced cyclist and had some basic questions about the bicycle that took several iterations/tries to be answered. I thought even if the bicycle was too big, I could at least retrofit a different frame with its components. I can't even do that, because this company refuses to answer questions about the bicycle components and provide manuals and diagrams.
I hesitate to sell this bicycle because anyone that owns one, doesn't want/need another one. And I'd hate to pass on unknown problems because it's too big for me to a prospective buyer. They get two stars for delivering close to the bicycle I backed as I still have not received the fenders. Their lack of response to my requests leaves a lot to be desired in the support and service component. I ordered fenders with this bike, and still haven't received them or a response about an ETA for them. I asked for a full refund, no response. I offered to deliver the bicycle in the US to a backer in exchange for a full refund, no response. I offered to deliver the bicycle to a US backer in exchange for credit equal to the amount I paid for the smaller bicycle they plan on producing in the future, no response. In short, I offered possible solutions to satisfy the issue and have not gotten any response except the canned messages that say someone will get back to me.
I cannot recommend this company based on their poor level of service and support.

Here is my honest review. I will be fair and will not be tarnished by some of my earlier frustrations.
Ordered in July 2017: USD 1,247 + 200 shipping + USD 434 in March 2018 for importation = USD 1,881 DDP for the bike finally delivered in mid April 2018.
I wanted to cancel the order several times along the way because I never got told I would have to wait for so long but that was not possible; and during that time I constantly used my regular push bike through sun, wind, rain and snow..
Anyway, got the bike, put it together, few hurtles but nothing major and got it going.
First the charger is very slow, it takes the whole night to charge the 17AH battery, not so cool but I guess their sell up strategy is to sell the fast charger. They could have provided that as part of the base package
Second the bike is heavy... like really heavy 27kg (60lbf) with everything (including the lock). It's double the weight of my daily usage 250USD bike.
Third, I am 6' tall, and this is the absolute tallest you can be with this bike otherwise you would not be very comfortable.
it's nicely built, even for a Chinese made bike
It's fast and the battery seems to hold pretty good
It goes everywhere (big tires, heavy shocks)
It's good looking
-The foldable feature is irrelevant in my opinion because the bike is so heavy that it's not possible to lift it in the trunk of a car. Plus it adds a big thing in between the leg that is, at time, annoying.
-The gear shifter is not very well situated and it requires to stop the throttle to shift gear which is not so cool
-There is a big lag at the sensor (when pedaling) and at the throttle for the motor to kick in. It's definitely safer as is but really annoying and for all my other ebikes, it was not like that (so I need to get used to it).
-The bike is REALLY heavy, the motor basically is there to compensate for the heavy weight of the bicycle, of course with mode 5 it goes faster than it would even if it was lighter.
-With a bigger front gear the bike could be a lot faster, because full speed on (39km/h) with a bigger front gear I would be able to pedal more (not a huge deal, but I guess a design oversight in my opinion)
-The screen is nice, the bike has lots of features (for example the rear light turns on when breaking), color/style are not common out there
During my wait, I had the opportunity to look in more details in the market. I found a very similar bike (maybe made in the same factory) for 800EUR all delivered and duty paid (350w/13AH) which is not more expensive that the Stark bike if not cheaper (plus they have stock and really cool wheels), and plenty of other options for the USD 800-1,500 range that were cool also and cheaper overall.
Anyway, at the end of the day, for me it's not the end of the world to have spent that money, the bike is nice, powerful and it does the trick. But it's too heavy and it took too long to get it.
If I had had the opportunity to try to bike before buying I would not have bought it, but I got excited online and I bought it maybe without checking it in details or maybe overlooking some of these aspects. It does not feel like riding a bicycle, it's more like a moped which is cool but not what I was looking for / expecting.
I can take the kids out (without the motor) and it's fine (one in the back) and one following on his one bike, and I can commute to places not too far away without driving (which is nice) going 39km/h; but I still use my light 250USD bike to commute every day to the office because it's light, very agile, very fast and it gives me a great workout.
To STARK, I'd say it's a good start, but you now need to make a light aluminum, non foldable electric bike for the city. I have seen that there are now some road bikes that don't even look like ebike for less than USD 2,000 all included...
With this review, I don't intend on starting an argument, I am saying it how it is and how I experienced it. Some users might have different opinions and I don't have any financial interest in any other bike makers. Just sharing.
I am glad that there are some people with visions and projects, maybe communication could have ben better, likely the design could be improved but surely the bike is in my garage now and I use it.

This concerning stark drive bike.
The Stark promo video was very appealing, and its aim to provide a good e-bike at an affordable price is eminently laudable. Hence, some time ago, I thought of placing an order with this company, but when they said that the shipping costs to Canada was US$299, because it included a battery, that response made me suspicious of the integrity and honesty of that company. I decided not to place my order with that company. Instead, I placed my order with Sonders, who delivered the bike within a month for the shipping cost of US$99 to Canada, although the bike it shipped to me included a much bigger battery. That, however, was just the beginning. Someone I know placed the order with Stark, and that person has been told so many lies about the shipment. At one point, Stark told that person that because the Toronto port is busy, they sent the bike shipment to Vancouver. That was more than 2 months ago. Now Stark sent that person a UPS tracking number. But when it was checked with UPS, the shipping label was created in the middle of September, but UPS has not received any parcel. That means only one thing. Another lie from Stark. This company takes innocent and trusting people's money, and has been lying to them, failing to deliver the bikes for over 6 to 9 months, and the innocent customers are not at all sure whether they were defrauded by the company. I am a lawyer, and when I heard the story of that person, it fitted my own experience with Stark, and felt deeply for that person. I have also come to learn similar stories from other Stark customers. In fact, the issue under consideration is extremely relevant and serious, as the trend of online shopping is increasing dramatically, and a dishonest online company would seriously undermine the trust absolute essential in a smoothly working, mutually beneficial online transactions. Hence, I have decided to collect a number of Stark customers, who paid a significant amount of money to that company but have not received the bikes or have been lied to. I would like to start a class lawsuit against this company, as such a company should not exist in this world. Please contact me.
So Stark Drive has reported on my review above, but the reason for their reporting is left empty. Is Stark Drive reporting on my review for an empty reason?
(Updated on 25 Oct 18)
Trustpilot has been sending me emails that I should give info about my personal ID to Stark Drive so that Stark Drive can respond to my review more properly. Trustpilot should note that Stark Drive presented no reason for reporting on my review. I write this update here, because there is no way to respond to Trustpilot, and my messages to Trustpilot help line has not be responded to so far.

Everything was going good until Stark drive and UPS delivered to my old address, where the bike was taken by someone. Stark drives "customer support" is a complete joke. I was in contact with them through several emails, in which I was respectful with each one. Long story short, after they basically told me I'm screwed, they stopped replying to me completely. Very, very unprofessional in my honest opinion.
Update: It now seems they are trying to start a lawsuit against me for giving this review.
10/30/18 Update: It seems they have gotten new customer service, although it seems they are motivated by my bad review more than anything. I have finally recieved my bike. I haven't been on it yet but it looks nice. It did not come with instructions so I was left to figure it out myself. I'm writing this review before riding it because Stark drive is pushing me to change my review "since I have received my bike". I'm glad I now have my bike, but getting a bike with Stark drive seems like a gamble. You might be very happy with your experience, or you might have one like mine.

Stark Drive delivered my bike and I absolutely love it. I am the new orous owner of 3 500w with all the bells and whistles. This whole experience has been about as far away from my expectations of crowdfunding as I can imagine. These guys were always available via email and chat and always responded to my questions whenever I had them. Not only that but they were willing to help me when I made some errors in the configuration even months after I backed them. I really really appreciate everything that stark drive is trying to do by making these electric bikes affordable. Comparable electric bike locally for me in the states would have cost me at least twice as much. And only that but it would’ve been much uglier.
The best part about the whole experience is that I can easily take the battery out of my bike in charging at work for free and still have my bicycle safely parked downstairs. I for one can’t wait until the new mini version of this bike comes out because I am going to be an early adopter. This will be great on my travels.
This company is doing its best with very limited resources and I can’t imagine everything that they’ve been going through with the hundreds of backers that they apparently have according to their website.

My Experience with Stark Drive Customer Service is very bad! Their e-mail responses are vague and never answering all my questions. I have received one bike with a bent rear brake disc. The Customer Service responded that because I had already put 40km on the bike it might be my own fault. After that answer they ignored my repeated questions about the subject. I probably can buy a disc somewhere, because it is a generic brand, but the trust to Stark is broken.
Even worse is the problem with a TS-488 computer. It shuts down occasionally. I also asked for a protocol of the computer and received only partial answer how to re-set an odometer, which, btw was not accurate. I am still waiting for a protocol because I wanted to be sure that the problem is in the computer itself.
I have bought two bikes - City + and Advanced with 500W motor. When we rode the bikes side by side up to the hill with my wife, she was on a weaker bike faster - effortlessly pedaling, while on the stronger one had to down shift three gears lower and to pedal with force. She is 10kg lighter than I. Also, she starts much easier than I, I have to always pedal with force to get bike going. It seems the assistance applies only after I reach a speed of 7-8 km/h.
The Bike itself is of good quality except for a cheap front fork. I like the concept and design and I can tolerate cheaper parts because of the price. (Although today they are comparable bikes for a similar price on the market) However, I have to agree with other backers who are also frustrated with the inept Customer Service! How to Starkdrive expects to survive with a such poor attitude to its customers?
Update 27.7. - after reading Starkdrive response on 23.7. I have resubmitted unanswered questions again:
I did not receive the answer to my questions until I wrote to the Trust Pilot. In Your answer you contradict yourself. In the first answer to a brake rotor problem you wrote: “To tune the brakes and fork take this to a certified bike shop as during shipping the bike can be jostled.”
In the Trust Pilot answer you wrote : “The rear disc is protected excpetionally well on transport and damage to it in transport is extremely unlikely, it is however easy to damage it while using the bike if you hit something.”
I rode the bike only on the road. You are probably right that a damage did not occur during shipping. The disc could be already bent when the bike was assembled.
But this is just a minor problem that I can correct myself.
Much more serious is the problem with TS-488 controller and the power issue. Let’s be clear : The controller shuts down itself while I am riding. The battery is full. The display goes blank and I have to push the “ON” button to re-start it. I have a little over 230km on the odometer and this shut-down happened 5 times.
I accept that the odometer cannot be re-set for warranty purposes.
The assist with a throttle has a long delay – about 3 to 5 seconds. When I twist a throttle while riding, system seems to shut down before it starts to work.
Your generic reply “The 500W motor is more powerful then the 350W however other factors such as what gear you are in, assist level, rider weight, rider ability, and terrain will also play a factor. The assist can be enabled immediately with the throttle or you need to pedal so that the sensors on the bike can detect movement and begin to assist you.” does not answer my concern. As I wrote, I bought two bikes – City+ and Advanced. I rode both and I am telling you that City+ has more power than my 500W Advanced. I compared both on roads in my neighborhood under the same conditions.
Therefore I am asking for a computer protocol, because I think that the controller somehow limits the current flow to the motor. Or. Do you have other explanation?
To be sure that both bikes are equal, I ordered another controller TS-488 for the City+ bike (order #1863) - I did not receive it yet either. Should be done in the middle of July.
Two days later still no reaction from Stark Drive Customer Service except for a computer generated note.
August 27th, Strkdrive absolutely ignores my e-mails. All I receive is a computer generated response that my question will be answered pro, ptly. A real answer never comes.

Battery hasn’t lasted more than a few months. This product is cheap for good reasons. The Stark bike didn’t include delivery so became a very expensive ordeal with Customs duties etc. They ask for a delivery address then only deliver to the nearest port.

Great bike and had problems with it after a mechanic messed with my cadence sensor but customer support was very quick to respond and help out.
