I wish I came here first to see the reviews from other buyers. I saw the ad for Microsoft Excel training, so I purchased it. The email link they sent me brought me to their website where I'd have to pay an additional $175 to enroll? There was no fine print that stated this otherwise. So what was my first purchase for? Access to a site where I'm going to be charged again? I agree with what others on here are saying....VERY DECEPTIVE advertising!!

This is one of the worst companies I had to deal with. I purchased 3 items from Huffpost Stuff which is powered by Stack Commerce. I have been trying to return 2 items out of 3. The items arrived without return labels, their site says "Need to return this item?" that doesn't work. I have been in daily contact with Stack Commerce for a week now, all I asked for was a return label & a refund. All I get from them is the same useless generic copied & pasted response, the same one over & over again. I got no where after a week. Still no return label. I am done with Huffpost Stuff & Stack Commerce. I cannot recommend it. If I could have checked a no star status, I would have done so. 1 star is too generous.

Fraud Company! Avoid these charlatans like the plague!!!
StackCommerce (dba: a number of websites) are big time fraudsters. They offer a lifetime subscription for 5TB of backup space at PolarBackup for $99. Buy it, they send you a code. If you use the code they send, you find out that the PolarBackup plan is practically unusable as is and the only way to get the functionality StackCommerce advertises is to buy another subscription to PolarBackup! So, ask for a refund. PolarBackup doesn't give you a refund because they have no record of a payment from you. StackCOmmerce doesn't give a refund because "you used the code, all sales are final!"
It's deceptive at best and fraud at worst. If you got suckered, chargeback your credit card now!

Horrible customer service - they do not care about you whatsoever - money in the door is all that counts.
Surely this will be investigated soon?!

MY BAD.Should have read the reviews before ordering. Ordered one pair of freshebuds through MacWorld using my PayPal account.
Which arrived as ordered. Put them on and put them back into box for gifting to thrift shop. Terrible tinny quality. Looked at returning but saw the ALL SALES FINAL policy. Then the kicker. Two charges on the same day to PayPal. Contacted stackcommerce for refund on duplicate charge. No Can Do says stackcommerce; we sent you two and here's the postal delivery link. Both PageNot Found. While I'll file resolution with PayPal and MacWorld looks like the classic scam.

Absolute cons. Sent a cancellation the same day the product was ordered. Acknowledged by their customer service and I never received the refund despite their representative stating that it would be sent within 2-3 days.

After payment, I was supposed to get an email with the registration code. Never got it. Sent email to customer service (NATALIA) who after two weeks of back and forth emails has not solved the issue. Received an email with the registration code and a link to download the software. The code did not work. I sent another email with the info copied. The Next day, I received the same email fromNtalia saying "Hope this helps". Really? The same code that did not work the day before. It has been 15 days since I purchased the software iCareFone lifetime subscription for mac; still no registration code nor refund. Don't waste your money or time with this company.

Package ordered was not delivered so I checked with post office. Post office supervisor advised that tracking info showed delivered but was incorrect and advised that I contact shipper who could contact them for questions or advice. Sent at least four messages to support but not one response. Filed BBB complaint and this company responded to them saying they weren't responsible for lost package. They refused several times to follow suggestion to contact post office supervisor until after about three months when they reported that the tracking info is now expired and can't follow up. It seems they will stall and delay to avoid accepting responsibility and only provide the simplest first level support. May be a generic support company run out of a dorm room.

Don't buy. Product did not arrive and won't refund. Worst support team ever. Avoid their other sites too StackSocial and Neowin.

Sold me a voucher that was unuseable, as ordering without it was cheaper than ordering with it. Talking to the "support" was like listening to a broken record: All sales are final.
It's not technically a scam, I think. But it sure comes very close.

Echoing pretty much all the complaints here. This company takes no responsibility--doesn't matter if they sold you something that doesn't work and creates problems for your computer. Customer Service is horrendous.

Zero responsibility company. Bought app airy, activated, it was running nice. After reinstalling os app activation failed. Wrote to so support and got answer from nano hero Zatanna Zatara I didn’t redeem within 30 days but I did. Wrote again with zero response. She just ignored me. Keep away from stackcommerce.

Avoid this company. They marketed EarPods as an Apple product but it is not. Absolutely trash and knocked off product that didn’t even work. Be aware!! Read other reviews regarding this company, especially the EarPods products.

i can't link to the site in this review, but know that the link to offer i am writing about here is valid as of 8.12.18
this is site i got to from engadget which offers semiliar deals to stacksocial and is "powerd by stackcommerce" it advertise a coupon for 40 off of selceted products on the page.
but at checkout, i saw that the code is expired. if so, how come it sill slpped on the site? and how come there is no "valid till..." messege? this is at best case scenario de facto false advertisemnt. at worst is actual fraud!!
when contacing their support, a support rep has answerd me that this coupon code has expired on the 4th of december. evan if iwas supposed to know that, why is it not shown on the site?
and the support who is part of they self titled "support heroes" did not evan offer to respect the deal which they offerd!
so to conclude, not only so they prefer to lost a customer, they clealy don't care of being transperent in their advertisment. so consider this before making a purchase there.
also from some of the reviews i read here, looks like a dodged a bullet.
i hope to get a respone here, but i doubt i will.

Read the fine print, ALL SALES ARE FINAL! Don't order their cheap Airbuds, I did and they're not good! Tried to return them and I'm told because they offer such amazing products at low prices, all sales are final. Problem is that this isn't an amazing product!

And they consider themselves support heroes. Big scam. They sell courses from others. Once the campaign is over the courses are shutdown and there is no way to contact them. Definitely a pump and dump scam. Contacted support but they take days to respond. Once they do respond it's please contact so so at a nonexistent email. Buyers beware. So pitiful that Engadget backs this up.

Some downloads promoted as lifetime are only available for a while.
If you send a support query, you'll automatically be added to their mailing list without consent.

Just purchased a heavily discounted course pack this morning. Received an email with my order confirmation and a link to redeem the courses.
It asked for my email address to redeem each course license within the pack, saying I would shortly receive an email with login info. No such email arrived, so I tried resetting my password, which of course would send an email with login info. No such email arrived.
Even if I do manage to access the courses at some point, based on my experience and other reviews this is either a SCAM or a TERRIBLY run company.

Beware, they power many website to offer products at a discounted price, but they have a hidden "all sales are final" policy. If you are unhappy with the product, you can't get a refund. Don't hesitate to file a case with the BBB! That practice must end.

This company is a complete fraudulent scam of a company! I never received my purchase and they stole my money and refused to return it! I dealt with BBB they were fcking useless!

I'd give them less if I could. I was looking at an item, thought about buying it ... even went to PayPal to pay for it, but then decided I didn't want it. So, I cancelled everything. But, StackCommerce charged me anyway and sent the item. I contacted Customer Support, who agreed they didn't see any "purchase", asked for a printscreen of my PayPal Charge, and then, Desmond wanted to help me with the Tracking from UPS for the item I never ordered.
Absolutely horrible experience... run now!!! Do not even look at anything they have to offer... unless you want something whether you order it or not, cuz you can't return it whether you want it or not. You'll get charged anway,

Absolute thieves. They took my money and I got nothing. They email telling me to log into.my account, but I don't have an account, so how can I. Iamnow pursuing a chargeback via credit card. Their no refund policy when they have not delivered the goods is illegal.
