Had to put a claim in for a hot water despencer that had stopped working I had no trouble at all with the claim the staff at the claims department did everything for me so easy and smoothly excellent service

very easy and smooth process. My LG telly died on me for no reason after 3 and half years. I remembered I've had SquareTrade with the purchase. Although I didn't register it right away when I bought it, it was very easy to set up after such a long time! I was given very clear instructions on how to get it fixed and get the refund and it all went well. I've got a working telly again and I'm a happy man!!
If I didn't have the SquareTrade cover, I was going to be at least three times more money out of my pocket!! O_O Was definitely worth it!!!

I recently made a claim for a damaged flat screen television, I was amazed at how helpful the assistants were and how straight forward the process was. I was given clear instructions of what to do, what would happen as well as the order of how things would progress . So that I understood exactly how the claims process works......I had a full refund and was able to buy a new telly........Awesome experience and I would use the company again and recommend Squaretrade to my friends and family.......

Would recommend square trade for extended warranties on products they handled my enquiry and claim efficiently that's why I am giving them five stars. Do not confuse this with Dinnerdate on the television. Only joking!

Took me a week to get my laptop fixed. Polite and really helpful staff on the phone, had my laptop picked the day after my info was confirmed. Didnt get a report what was fixed when i got it back but thats not really a reason to complain.
EDIT: So after getting my machine back it turned out it came back with a problem that i didnt have before i sent it. Sent it again and it has been two weeks since then. Called about five times after the day i should have gotten it back and was told every time id get a callback which didnt happen. I was last told it was fixed friday and yet it is tuesday now and still nothing. Very dodgy, zero information whats going on, about three weeks now without a laptop and keep being told ill get a callback. Use if you enjoy being messed around with.

Having never dealt with SquareTrade before, and knowing that making an insurance claim can be long winded and complicated at the best, I was very impressed with this company. My claim was dealt with efficiently and quickly just one phone call and one email and job done. The staff are very knowledgeable and make the task simple and easy to understand
I would definitely consider this company in the future when insuring items.

I had problems with a top loader washing machine which had just run out of the manufacturer's guarantee.
I was very impressed with the response from SquareTrade, especially Harris.. They were extremely understanding and helpful and I received refunds on the call-out charge and an equivalent amount in order to purchase another machine.

I contacted SquareTrade to discuss the problem with my T.V.
(2 1/2 years old) they sent me an email the same day requesting a copy of the purchase receipt I sent a copy via email.
The next day they said that they had finished assessing my claim & that I was eligible for a full reimbursement of the amount paid for the T.V. so that I can purchase a new T.V. & that the depot will contact me in 1-3 days so that I can send the T.V. back to them for inspection.
2 days later the depot contacted me & I arranged for collection & Parcelforce collected my T.V.
2 days later i received an email stating that the depot had received my T.V. and that they were verifying my claim.
4 days later I was told that my T.V. had passed inspection and that payment should arrive within 5 days which it did.

I had a problem with my conventional microwave oven. I contacted Squaretrade and it was very straightforward to make a claim. They arranged for it to be collected by parcel force. At all times they kept me updated as to the current status.
Very impressed with the service I received.
Would highly recommend and would use them again if the need arises.

I was recommended by my daughter to square trade as she had good results with them.
My tv went pop a few weeks ago and I got a tv guy out to see if it can be fixed. He told me the main transmission box had gone as well as freeview. So tv went in the skip and I borrowed one off my son. Rung square trade to put claim in. My insurance was for £170 for decent tv. First they said I can have the cost of one you could buy today but the price was £101.00. I said I cannot buy a new tv for that price. Then they rung this morning saying they will give me the full price for my old tv. But I have to give them my old tv back. Like I was the dodgy one. What a joke. They have changed ownership as my when daughter claimed for her three year old tv what broke several years ago. They knew it was broken and never asked for the old tv. Now been left with no money. No tv. And no claim. They said they refurbish your old tv. That’s why they want it back. So making money out of selling refurbished tv they get back.
I am a honest person and don’t write a lot of bad reviews but the way I have just been treated and spoke too was disgusting. Not every one is a crook or dodgy. Won’t recommend this company. As they just take people’s money then offer nothing to what your old appliance is worth. Then tell you you cannot have your claim as I might be lying.
8/12/2017 update. I put complaint in as I am not being treated like a criminal by the staff.
Their solution is to refund me the £22 for the insurance I bought three years ago!! So how can I buy a new tv with that!, disgusting how they treat you and con people out of insurance,
AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!!

I always buy insurance for my belongings 'just in case'. I was so dismayed and saddened when my tablet stopped working suddenly but contacted Square Trade. My goodness, my claim was handled so calmly and efficiently and I followed the instructions the representative gave me and in no time the claim was settled and the money paid into my account. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them if this is the way they take care of all their customers. Thank you Square Trade!

What I like about fairtrade is that their policy's are reasonable priced for appliances and other electronics, because when customers buy expensive items we the customers should get longer guarantee on products not 12 months. Fairtrade offers reasonable prices for 3 or more years. I bought a brand new washing machine top of the range came with 1 year guarantee I'm so glad that I opted for extra protection on my appliance, although I beleived when purchasing the item I should have got more years use out of it instead than 1year and six months but anything could happen and it did for myself I was so glad that I purchased the extra 3 years guarantee from Fairtrade. They dealt with my claim and within five working days they resolved it. The customer service were polite and helpful. Just because we the customers buy things brand new we do take it for granted that we will get full use of our items but things can go wrong and we may end up with a bad batch just has the guarantee runs out so for a peace of mind it is better to be covered and less expense for yourself, I got a full refund and was able to buy a new washing machine not the same brand though.

But the caring experience we had over the phone with your staff was so ood that I decided to repond this time. The man who rang us was excellent and caring, following up each call to make sure we were happy.

Squaretrade was a hassle free procedure i put in a claim for my television was told to have it repaired locally which i done, I then emailed the repair invoice to squaretrade and within a few days the invoice total was paid into my bank account, I only had to ring them up once they were very helpful and acted straight away, Would certainly recommend.
