Although my order was made on Spreadshirt.dk, this review is made in English, since I’ve not been able to get a single answer from customer service in Danish. More on that later.
On the 25th of August I ordered three t-shirts with print on the front and on one sleeve. I chose the Premium delivery option, as I needed the shirts for a rally event that took place early September, and the delivery was estimated between the 29th of August and the 2nd of September, as stated in the confirmation email from Spreadshirt and on their website.
However, on September 2nd, the order status was still on ‘in production’, which it had been for some days. Therefore, I contacted Spreadshirt through the Danish email address, which is presented in the service section by the company itself. The day after, I received an email in English telling me, that there was no customer service in my language.
So, I tried sending my enquiry about my order in English on the 3rd of September. And I send yet another email on the night of the 3rd, as time was running out for my delivery. For every mail, I’ve received an autoreply stating, that I would be contacted within 24 hours.
In between my emails I also attempted to reach Spreadshirt by phone on the Danish phone number, that appears in the service section. However, after a short intro message, the line went dead. (I’ve just tried it again today, and it seems to be working now – but that wont really do me a lot of good…)
On the 4th I finally received an email from a person in customer service. She apologized for the inconvenience and told me, that she had upgraded me to Express delivery in the hope that my order would make it in time.
On the 5th I received notice that my order was being shipped with estimated delivery on the 6th. Which was the day I left early in the morning for my trip. And of course, the t-shirts did not make it there in time.
As a ‘funny’ fact throughout most of the process, I could still see my order details with the expected delivery no later than the 2nd. And absolutely no effort was made to inform me, that this deadline was false.
While I was travelling, UPS attempted to deliver my order, which was eventually placed at a UPS access point. Not wanting to make too big a deal out of it all despite the awful service level, I decided to pick up the shirts after the trip. They would serve as a memento of our travel and a stupid story about the order.
But even that wasn’t meant to be, as I was informed by email that there was a time limit at the access point, and my order would be returned, before I was able to pick it up. Again, I contacted Spreadshirt, asking them to make it so that the pick-up date was prolonged.
But the answer from Spreadshirt was that it was against UPS policy to extend pick-up deadlines, and that my order would be returned just a couple of days before my travels ended. Whenever I was back home, I could contact Spreadshirt to have my order resent to me.
At this point, I was fed up with the lack of service, so when I returned home, I emailed the company, that I was home and that they ought to handle my order in a manner they found befitting with the way I’d been treated so far. But instead of a solution on their part, I received yet another email telling me, that the problem with it all was basically the UPS policies! And that I could just tell them, when it suited me to have the order delivered!
Well Spreadshirt…it would have suited me to have my order delivered on September 2nd at the latest.
I know that you’re not giving guaranteed delivery dates, which is a nice way to decline responsibility.
I understand, that things can be delayed. But I certainly do not understand, that you don’t have the decency to inform your costumers about it.
By the way, when my order exceeded the delivery deadline, amazingly enough I could still make the same order on your website with expected delivery before my travels started. How is that even possible?
So now, I have three team t-shirts for an event, that has already taken place, lying somewhere in a Spreadshirt facility. And even though I’m asking Spreadshirt for a proper solution on their part, I’m still asked to make the decision. And of course, I’ve payed for the whole thing. Even the ‘Premium’ delivery.
I sure hope, other customers have a better experience with you. Because spending this much energy on one failed order and ending up as an angry Trustpilot reviewer is certainly a waste of time.

The webpage is very intuitive and accessible for everyone. There are so many options in different price ranges, but everything is of great quality (also the cheapest solutions). My item arrived within days and it was just perfect. I've tried returning an item due to a defect (a small one, but nevertheless a defect), and returning it was no problem at all, they were so helpful and service-minded and I received a brand new item. I highly recommend this :)
