Seems Devon gets paid to lie and cover up for this excuse for a company. Ordered my son football boots on Wednesday, paid next day delivery, it’s now Sunday they’re still not here, spent the last 3 days trying to find out what the deal is as Hermes (yeah left them a review too) have rearranged delivery countless times and said they’ve attempted delivery (rubbish as no delivery note and been waiting in every time) can’t get to speak to anyone from either company but did get a reply email from a Devon from sports direct who insists they’ve tried to deliver and I won’t be refunded the delivery charge, and boots may be here next week??! In my opinion any company using Hermes anyway are just as bad as them, next day delivery my **** avoid avoid avoid

My partner ordered some trainers for her son for college on a Tuesday (5pm) she paid an extra £6.99 for next day delivery, and because it was before 7pm they guarantee them the following day.
It was Friday and still no delivery, so we tried desperately to get in contact with customer services but even though we had 6 different numbers to call we never was able to speak to anyone. We also emailed several times to SPORTS DIRECT "" customer services"" but only to receive automated responses with no explanation of what happened to her order.
We eventually managed to speak to someone called" Devon "by ringing the GYM equipment department phone number, she assured us that there had been a problem with the warehouse but our order was going to be on the following days delivery, and be with us SATURDAY, she had no explanation to why when we'd paid for next day delivery we hadn't received the service they advertised on their website. She then explained we would receive a £5 voucher to spend in store or online for the inconvenience its caused.
SATURDAY came and still no trainers, and no email with a voucher, ALL WE CAN CONCLUDE FROM THIS IS THAT WE WE'RE FOBBED OFF AND LIED TO BY THAT MEMBER OF STAFF!!! so once again we tried ringing every number we had to try and speak to someone, with no response, until we eventually contacted a SPORTS DIRECT store a few miles away, the sales person seemed to be helpful by ringing his internal number to try and resolve our issue, he explained there has been an ongoing problem with the picking process and we would be refunded by Monday as there was no senior management to authorise it over the weekend.
This whole experience was the worst we've ever dealt with with any company EVER, HOW CAN A COMPANY OPERATE WITH NONEXISTENT CUSTOMER SERVICES,!!! DO NOT USE SPORTS DIRECT AT ALL COSTS,, its been an unbelievable disaster. We've yet to see by Monday if what we we're told will actually happen.
FALSE ADVERTISING, LYING STAFF WHEN OR IF YOU CAN EVENTUALLY GET HOLD OF ANYONE TO SPEAK TO!!!!

They sent the wrong size trainers as they had mis-labelled the box with the American size instead of the UK one. They were slow to respond, argued, demanded photographic evidence of their mistake and then took 28 days to replace them. Seriously, they had to MAKE the replacements?? No apology, nothing. Then after another week an abrupt email saying they did not have the item in stock (ie they had just realised they had mis-labelled every box??) so they would refund the original amount, within 5ish days...And again no apology. Awful customer service. Absolute joke.

Ordered my daughter a lovely purple bike that she chose for her birthday - the confirmation email stated in TINY text under the bike name that the bike MAY be green even though the picture clearly showed it being purple and there being no mention of another colour being available in the description on the website. I tried calling Sports Direct immediately after I received the confirmation email but as it was Saturday evening they were not open. I sent an email asking for clarification. They got back to me on Monday morning to say the bike comes in 2 colours but you can’t chose which colour you receive?! I asked to cancel the order but was told it was too late as the order was with the courier.
I received confirmation from the courier that they didn’t receive the parcel until TUESDAY!
The bike has been delivered and it is green so I have a very disappointed little girl as this is not the bike she wanted.
Sports Direct should be advertising their products correctly or correcting things when they make an error!!

i recently went to sports direct in chilwell retail park beeston lane beeston and purchased a few lee c fz hoodies and some karrimor k2 black walking sandals.they had a sale up to 80% offf.
the staff was very helpful. and have a wide range of products.
i would recommend this store to friends and family.

Ordered shoes according to the size of their website. Getting home something completely different.
The customer service refers to things that can be read on their website, without answering the question why the size does not fit according to the order.
Customer service responds when they please. Not customer friendly anywhere. Just a lot of mambo jumbo.
The conflict is personal now, I will not give up when I am right! Continuation follows!
NOT recommended, buy in regular store instead!

Am going ti be honest never purchased anything but have visited I find the stores claustrophobic just packed to the door not much room to manouver and feel trapped by the vast amount of rails filled with clothing try letting customers breathe not a giid start.
Staff just lack interest. Look too young to be working not helpful can't say I would enjoy this company if I did give my custom.

I recently purchased trainers for my daughter in the Watford store and there were issues with the trainers so I made a journey to my local store which advised me they will not accept since you have purchased from our store this is a Debenhams and it prints out debenhams receipt also they would not accept a credit note ! This surprised me the stores are under "Sports Direct" Banner so why a fuss I again had to go afar store to get the issue even so I had used a coupon I would have thought that this would balanced up ! No I was out of pocket I have loss my credit balance but I feel I had been caused inconvenience to get my issue sorts I would be interested to see what Sports direct have to say for the issues I have raised with them!!

Ordered a cross trainer online, delivery was standard and it arrived on time. However, after 5 hours of setting it up, plugged it in and it tripped out the whole house without the machine even turning on. I had to dismantle it all, put it back in the box and wait for it to be collected, to then wait days later for a replacement to be delivered. When unpackaged, parts were missing, and after contacting customer services, apparently the parts needed were not available. Will not be trying for a third time as I have asked for a full refund and for someone to collect the worthless machine. Absolutely disgusted by the whole ordeal, the time I have wasted trying to get a working machine is ridiculous. Will not be purchasing from sports direct again.

Just a pile of crap to deal with. Ordered a pair of black football boots they sent white ones.
I contacted them about the mistake not heard back in 5 days, so I had to send the boots back at a cost to myself.
Then to add insult to injury I've been waiting 2 weeks for a refund.
My advice use Prodirect.

I can't say I am surprised that SD are reported as being in trouble. I try to buy footwear in my local store and found that it was £6 dearer than online. They would only price match if I paid £5 delivery charge to collect in store in 5 days time. Then it transpired that they only had one pair and I would have to pay the full £55 to buy shoes that had been on display and tried on by various people for the last month or so. I was also shopping for a football shirt for my grandson, and then found they do not offer a refund if it didn't fit just a voucher. My wife advise me that she and her friends have all now stopped shopping with House of Fraser for exactly these reasons. Who else charges postage to collect in-storecharges postage to return and expects you to pay full price for ex-display products?
Now bought similar items elsewhere, free delivery, free returns, job done

Sports Direct have a great website that makes it easy to find what you need, or to just browse. There are always lots of great sales, with brilliant discounts! I’ve ordered from this website multiple times and have always been very satisfied with the process. My only recommendation is that you don’t order anything ceramic or fragile from them, as they post everything in mailing bags and they get broken! I once ordered a ceramic dish (they sometimes sell more than just sportswear!) and it arrived in at least 10 pieces. Their sports clothes and footwear are brilliant quality and very comfortable.

Thankfully I used Paypal to pay and will get my money refunded if Sports Direct decide to be awkward. 5 days after ordering my item still hadn't been processed, which means nothing has changed since ordering. So I've cancelled my order and will find a more cooperative shop.

Ordered a pair of football boots online for my sons birthday and paid for next day delivery. The boots arrived, left boot different colour to the right boot!! Contacted customer services and asked for a refund on next day delivery and for a free postage label to be sent to me as I was not prepared to pay for the wrong item to be returned (advise given to me by Sports Direct at one of their stores!!). The boots cannot be returned in store as online only. After sending numerous emails to get this matter resolved and not receiving a satisfactory response, I am now NOT even getting a response at all from Sports Direct customer services. Will NEVER shop online with Sports Direct again. Absolutely no point in calling the customer service phone number they provide on their website as you wont be able to speak to anyone from customer services. Worst customer service I've ever come across.

Very poor customer service. Slow delivery and when goods arrived, order only partially fulfilled. The choice is pay to return the partial cricket set or order alternate replacements for the missing elements and pay a second delivery charge for these.

A shambles. A customer care team that really doesn’t give a hoot. CUSTOMER CARE Staff (sense of humour needed) that are so confident regarding their totally inept management that they feel completely comfortable in ignoring customer complaints. When they do eventually respond, but only if you truly persist, usually after the third time of writing, they refer you back to the generic [email protected] email. Clearly it’s a war of attrition, slowly wearing people down with total incompetence and a flagrant disregard for customer care. There are far better companies in this space and for them, my business is secured. Sports Direct stole a march on pricing, but that’s no longer the case, match genuine competition with their epically poor service levels and hopefully another Debenhams is on the cards. Another Mike Ashley success story - it’s a goodbye from me.

I ordered two suitcases on line that when delivered did not have the expandable section as advertised. Even though they had sent me an inaccurate item I had to return them at my expense to be reimbursed later once items had been checked at depot. This was May 19 we are now in July and I have still not received the return postage cost as agreed in an email. I did have an email back on Friday after chasing again to be told I could have an e-voucher to spend in store, hence its now Monday evening and no voucher. I would suggest shop in store not on line with this company.

My review is based on the online site. I placed an order and paid for next day delivery. The item did not turn up so I have requested a refund to be told the item would be delivered the following day so no refund would be given so they’ve taken money for a service I haven’t received. They then stopped replying to my messages. I sent another message through twitter to cancel my order as I have had to go to a store because the item purchased was needed ASAP hence the next day delivery. Was told no because the order had been processed. Nope it hasn’t and no email has been sent either stating this. Again proof of this was sent to them and again the replies have stopped. I am now going to take the matter further as keeping money for a service that was not provided is a breach of the ‘supply of goods and services act’. Seriously don’t use this companies online site. its not fit for purpose. Disgusting, thieving joke of a company

I placed an order before the cut off time on a Thursday and paid extra for next day delivery. The items were showing as in stock and still were the following Wednesday.
I emailed CS but standard reply, we'll get to you within 2-3 wking days unless it's busy!! Still haven't received my order by Wednesday and NO PHONE NUMBER TO CONTACT CS URGENTLY, only email which will be answered in 2-3 days unless we're busy.. GRRR!

Rcd email from warehouse, my orders been processed and I'll be notified WHEN THE COURIER HAS IT!
