Ordered wrong size. Sorel will not update order or cancel. Called 2 minutes after order was placed. Now 4 days later, waiting for the boots to ship. No tracking number sent yet. So boots haven't shipped but I can't cancel. $200 taken out of my account within 2 minutes of order placed.....no boots yet. No tracking number. Hoping the wrong boots come so I can attempt to return. Feeling robbed.

When I bought a boots and returned the next day cause it was tight. They charged $14. Do not buy from them buy it from Marks etc..save your money.

I got a Sorel as a gift, and tried to exchange the color, but the company just told me they don't do exchange! And for a return, the refund would go to the person that bought the gift, not for the person that received the gift. Unbelievable!
So I would have to bother the person that gave the gift because the company is inefficient and has a terrible costumer service. That is unbelievable in 2020! Shame on you, Sorel.
The company don't take care of the costumers.

placed an order in early Dec.. and I am still waiting for my order. The order was apparently coming from China (according to tracking number) and it did track to my home town, but what I received was a cheap bracelet HUH?? Not exactly the boots I paid for. Can't connect with the company online. One big SCAM.

So I ordered a pair of boots from this company and I did make an effort to buy somewhere else but even Amazon had it for more. ordered it, entered all the credit card info, shipping address, no problem . I got a confirmation and my bank account was debited for the amount. A few minutes later I get the email that is attached saying that "unable to be processed, as the information supplied didn't meet our payment requirements.
Thanks for your interest in SOREL.". Talk about a door slamming with no explanation. I made the mistake of calling customer service and wasted 18 minutes (see attached) with a guy who sounded like he was typing everything. At the end of it all he could not tell me "for my security reasons" why he couldn't tell me what happened. He was willing to charge my card again for another order if I wanted to. Really? Made it this far in life to have him do that!! At the end of the day, I was on hold a long time, didn't get what I ordered, didn't get an explanation and dealt with someone who really wasn't qualified to stir coffee. Do yourself a favor and buy somewhere else. We did. There are plenty of boots out there.

They are very comfortable, and warm at first. Every year I need a new one. The soles wear out very fast; maybe because I wear them every day for the winter. They are very stylish looking. You will get loads of compliments and stares..... I almost broke my neck a few times because the soles were worry down, so they became very slippery on ice. One I returned, as it only lasted 3 months because it was defective. This year I bought a different brand of boots. No more Sorels for now. They are costly, but, cannot stand the winter months.

My feet started feeling cold in the shoe the second winter. I called them and they said I was out of warranty and so, they couldn't do anything. She even said "it might be your circulation", but didn't have a response when I said my Patagonia boots were fine. Lame. Don't waste your money on these.

Bought my teen daughter a pair of winter boots. It took Sorel 2 days to ship it. Then I received a wrong pair of boots. Don't just a wrong pair of boots, but in the box was men's boots instead of women's.
Emailed the customer service... nothing.
Called, been on th phone with 3 people for an hour explaining that we have a lot of snow and my Daugher cannot wear snickers any more. I asked them to give me discount for at least 25% so I could have 30$ to go and buy her shoes until her boots will come because they don't have overnight shipping and it will be another 3 business day ( tomorrow is Friday and it will take them 24 hours to process my order so we won't get it until Tuesday). Nope, they can send me a free shipping label and they can provide me with maximum of 10% discount! Seriously????! What can I buy for 12$.
Really not happy and I won't deal with them ever again. There more companies with good stuff and good customers service.

Awful product. Bought my boots just over a year ago and wore them for one season and the rubber cracked all the way to the liner. When I called customer service they would not honor the warrant because it was over a year. I barely used them. I will never bug them again and recommend everyone stay away. Go with ll bean or a more reputable product.

I order a pair of boots Emelie - short lace. Fantastic material and design, and to be honest the is very comfy. BUT! After less than a month inside thought starts to falling apart - they should work more on these things such as material.
I contact CS, send pictures of the damage and they offer me to collect shoes and refund the money. I order another pair of a different model. Warranty on these is 2 years - so any problem contact them and they have to refund you money. This is way too expansive shoes to have issues like that...
They gave me 10% discount on my next online shopping ( its not a lot but at least its something)

You would think a waterproof shoe would be slip resistant. I fell so hard because the shoes are awefully slippery. I am surprised nobody has complained about the grip. It looks beautiful BUT for the price I would expect more protection. I was going to get my mom a pair but after I fell and I'm 130 Lbs and in great shape. So these shoes would be a liability if my mother wore them. I'm just blessed that besides a bruised sore back and scratched up elbow that I didn't injure my self horribly. I woke up very sore and couldn't get in my vehicle. A few days later and still scared to wear the shoes.

Boots are in prefect condition still,I love the boot but can't ware them because of the liner ,the leather rubs on my heals ,is there away I could get a new liner ,or fixed some how . I have asked different shoe repair places and said they could not repair ,and I have no reciept.

Purchased a pair of Sorel winter boots last spring (2018) on sale but still a good some of money. They lasted one year and have already crack and thus no longer water proof. Very disappointed since the previous pair of Sorels lasted 30 years. I have to give their new products a fail.

I ordered boots online and they have not been delivered after 2 weeks. The delivery company has "No available ETA" listed on their tracking system and are not contactable via phone or email. Sorel have not been at all helpful or apologetic.

I have had two pairs of Sorels and while the boots are great if there are any issues with your boots they are of no help. I only had a snap break and they indicated the best I could do was send them the boots and they will issue a credit to purchase new boots. It was middle of winter which meant I would be left without my boots for weeks, not helpful.

I don't understand why I should have to pay to ship back defective boots for more than the cost to initially have them sent to me in the first place! A terrible policy to have in place and I know that Sorel doesn't care because they told me flat out that they dont. Stay away!

CS rep and supervisor couldn't help me at all with Sorel related shipping issues. Recieved the wrong item 2 times and they say they are "working on it". Meanwhile I have to keep driving back and forth to UPS to drop off the wrong stuff due to their error. Won't make it right. Will not buy from Sorel again.

I wouldn't have posted this complaint and these pics if the Sorel Customer (dis)Service folk had just been at least a bit genuine in how they handled my complaint/inquiry.
These boots were way (many years... more than a decade) out of warranty. I told them so, both on the phone and by email. I knew they were out of warranty - made that very clear - and asked if they were still willing to in some way compensate me (or give me a discount on a future purchase). Even well out of warranty these boots shouldn't have just rotted away the way they did.
The Sorel folk insisted that I send them a picture of the inside (tongue) label before they could respond. The boots were overseas (where I live) and I had just returned to the States and thereby could not get them a picture of the tongue label. The pictures I had provided them were of the rotting boots and did not include a shot of the tongue label. No action possible without a picture of the tongue label.
Three months later, once I returned to my home overseas, I immediately sent a picture of the tongue label. Within one day they responded that... "Unfortunately, your item was manufactured over a year ago... " and so they would not consider taking any responsibility whatsoever for the quality problem.
They knew from the outset that the boots were way out of warranty. Without seeing the tongue label they could have said... "Sorry, out of warranty". I even suggested that in one of my emails to them... that if they said the boots were out of warranty and therefore they could do nothing, that I couldn't disagree and that would be that.
Here is a copy and paste from one of my emails (from the string of emails) to them:
" I would have found it more acceptable for you to say... We are sorry sir, but these boots are too many years out of warranty for us take responsibility. I wouldnt necessarily be happy, but I also could agree with you."
Horrible customer service.
Sorel doesn't stand by its brand. Old boots shouldn't just rot the way these boots did.

As with numerous other customers who have contacted Sorel's Customer No-Service with a simple warranty issue, it fell on deaf ears with an incompetent Sorel rep who helped them lose yet another customer. Your rep would rather see a customer who bought your garbage product go elsewhere, than rectify a simple issue and provide decent service. Runaround to the extreme, don't believe the claims of warranty coverage. Sorel, READ THIS - Keep manufacturing your product to the lowest standard in China and don't be surprised when your loyal customers go away to your competitor(s). Sorel - Your customer service greatly needs training and CUSTOMER RETENTION SKILLS!!! I'll never buy another Sorel product as long as I live (nor will anyone who I can get to listen to me tell my story). The Internet is a very powerful tool, I sincerely hope Sorel has enough marketing money to wash away all the negative reviews and vitriol that your former customers have for you.

I got these for Christmas, wore them inside only to make sure the fit was right for 2 days, after which, the sole of the right boot toe came unglued. Luckily, I have a kind cobbler who offered to do it for free quickly instead of sending for their 2 month warranty process (which later I found cant repair this minor damage). Wore them for first time outside to Portland (city walking only) and the other one came unglued at same spot, this time chipping the front of the sole off. I now have a damaged product only 1 outside wear in, which Sorel cant fix (I had to call after emailing pictures to get this response), that boot size is no longer available online, and wont offer to pay to fix, but MERCH CREDIT ONLY! They want me to go back and buy another faulty product when they cant solve the issue with the first one. On top of all this, I sent pictures by email, they offered to attempt to send and only after talking to them on the phone is when I found out they probably cant fix them but wanted me to pay for shipping for fun to give me the option. I would have to pay $6 sending them back to even get the MERCHANDISE CREDIT and she assured me more styles would be coming out next fall. It is Jan 16 right now, thats a lot of help. Tis the season, DO NOT BUY.

The customer service was pretty obnoxious and rude. Their reaction to the problem was careless and superficial, blaming everything on the customer side. The online order system was not reliable for me. It confirmed my order having been processed and charged on my credit card, and then later dropped my order along with withdrawal of the charge. When I called, she immediately blamed on my card company. I talked to the card company, who confirmed that the charge and withdrawal were made by Sorel. I re-ordered with the customer service over the phone. The same thing happened. I gave up that time. In several days later, I made a new order, but this time the system doubled my order charging on my card twice. I emailed the customer service, but no answer. I called the customer service, their record showed two separate orders of the same item. But they again blamed on me for double clicking the button. But the two order numbers were apart (19 and 48). She was defensive constantly, telling me that, unless I return the item, I could not get refunded for the duplicate charge. When I complained about their process, she just hung up the phone.

Sorel had a flawless process for ordering online. The shipment arrived to me earlier than expected which was awesome and now I need to exchange the item because it doesn't fit and they are accommodating me with the simplest process and without hesitation.

On their website they deliver to Russia but not to Ukraine (?!) is country agressor better? i wrote with this question but got no reply. i like these shoes but never buying again out of tolerance to poor Ukraine, war is terrible and unfair and people should care who to support.
