Bought a SONY KD65-AF9 OLED TV.
Panel had very visible flaws in colour uniformity. Yellow was orange, light brown was dark brown and so on.
I had the TV at their Service partner, but it came back saying uniformity was within Sony standards. I was not happy with this conclusion, so Sony asked for more pictures to check with other panels of the same TV-set.
They again concluded that panel was within Sony-standards.
Luckily the shop i bought the TV from (HIFI Klubben Odense), agreed with me, that the TV did not live up to expectations and they took upon them to give me another TV (not a Sony-TV).
So very bad experience with Sony. Good experience with HIFI Klubben.
I will not buy a Sony TV again and also refrain from buying other Sony products after this experience.

his review is from my experience with customer service from today (9/10/2019). So here's what happened of as to why I had to call customer service. I was trying to buy Playstation plus for $10 and for some reason my card wasn't going through (which it has before - so card is not the issue) however, during trying to make the payment go through for the playstation plus - somehow playstation took it upon itself to purchase a Batman game which was $21. Not sure how it did that when we were never on the batman game in the first place because we were on the playstation plus payment. I found out from my creditcard records and I have text to my phones. So when I intially called customer service, they were great at getting me a refund and even told me the error was on playstation side because i am a repeated customer and have used this method of payment with the same card forever now. Something was going wrong with them. But when it was time to talk about compensation for (sonys) playstations error, because we disnt want this to happen again and thought it was justifiable to at least give us a free month for their error, is when we ran into the problem. I knew that customer service could not help with an effective solution which would satisfy us both, so I asked to speak with a supevisor that could help - no problem there connecring to a supervisor. The supervisors name was Carlos Alba (ID:8241). Carlos was not rude but displayed incompetence in this area. He first provided he was supervisor but then said he coulsnt give his title out to us. He had rudely told us we cannot help with compensation because he could not prove it was playstation error but let me remind you there is documentation that was seen by the previous customer service rep that shows and supports the error on sonys part in which he said it was his error. Obviously the "supervisor" did not feel it was necesarry to communicate/explore the problem or get a heads up on it before talking with the customer. There was no communication, no resolution that was effective and reassuring that this wont happen again nor confident competence of what he was talkingg about or even if he was truthful on who he was. His mission/attitude clearly was notsaying he was trying to help the customer with in his ability. He never offered any other solutions or investigation. Never even asked for our account information to make sure there was no error since he was so confident. I am repeated customer and would love to remain one but if this is not resolved in a way we are both satisfied with then I would have to discontinue service and spread the word.

I trust Sony products. I have used its mobile phone Sony Xperia XZ3 and I love it. So when it comes to select one headphone, I put Sony at the top of my list. Actually, it does its promise, offering a good noise cancelling function and excellent battery life up to 30hr. But I'm not amazed by its hi-res audio knack. The audio track remains 192kbps, 256 or 320kbps?

I recently purchase a NW-E394 Sony Walkman that had a fault with it after contacting Sony Support by e-mail, I was not happy with the replies I had from three e-mails from them. So I took the NW-E394 back to the shop I purchased it from and had a refund.

I bought a Sony Xperia XA phone about 18months ago!! I have had problems with it from day one. Whilst the camera is very good the phone is rubbish!!! To answer a call you are supposed to just swipe the green phone symbol. This Just Cuts the Call off!! If you press the green phone symbol this just cuts off. If you are searching on Google for a restaurant or gym and go onto the site to check an address it automatically rings them!! I paid a lot of hard earned money for this phone and it's rubbish!!!!

As someone who owns Bose noise cancelling headphones, these new headphones have blown me away. The noise cancelling is a noticeable step up from the QC 35 I currently. It's light (a tad heavier than the Bose), comfortable (I usually can't stand having most headphones on for a long time as my ears tend to get sore - no issues 3 hours in with this pair), and have a sound quality that blows the Bose or any other noise cancelling headphones I've tried out of the water. Being able to cup the right headphone to pause the noise cancelling to listen to people talking to you without taking off the headphone is a pretty cool feature.
Aesthetically, I prefer how the Bose looks, but then again I purchased this for the audio and noise-cancelling properties, not how it looks. The touch controls on the right earpiece took a bit to get used to, but quickly became second nature.
Being able to charge via USB-C is a plus as someone who has a Galaxy S8 and a Nintendo Switch, as I can use the same cable. It also lets you charge the headphones via Quick Charge. While I can't speak to it's longevity, the headphones seem to be high quality, and I don't notice any discernible issue with the headband - something that I understand the previous models suffered from.
Overall, I am extremely impressed by the WH1000XM3, and it will easily become my every day carry headphones.

I bought a SONY TV in April 2017 for £599. We are now in June 2018 and the LCD screen is no longer working due to the breakdown of an electrical component. Technicians confirmed this was a manufacturer’s defect. I contacted Sony and I was told that they could give me 40% of the cost of my TV. They also told me that this type of issue could happen in the early life of the product ...... surreal .... I thought buying Sony meant buying quality .... maybe in the past but not nowadays. I will personally never buy that brand again. Really disappointing and shocking that just over a year is considered as an acceptable life span for a Sony product.

This is so bad that not even 1 star can give this notorious company credit. You call them to ask who sells their products. They say they cannot tell you. My answer to them is if you are going to treat me badly then I will respond with likewise. Very angry. Get out of business and stop winding up good customers. Bad company.

Adequate service but could easily be improved with more care and funding or even a reshuffle of staff and management.

I was looking high and low for a specific clock radio for my boyfriend's upcoming birthday. I was lucky to find the exact one on Sony's website. It was also on stock and with delivery guaranteed within 2 days - and free too. At first I thought it was too good to be true but after some research I found that it was legit enough. I bought the clock and immediately received an email with the confirmation. I was given two possible dates for delivery, the 5th and the 6th of February. On the 6th after work I checked the mailbox. No package and no note from the post office about attempted delivery.
I called the customer service number in the confirmation email and was told that they hadn't sent out my order because it wasn't in stock. They wouldn't know if it was in stock until maybe the 16th, but possible longer than that, I was told. They said that it was very unfortunate but other than that it didn't come as a surprise for them. Apparently their site can't handle a lot of traffic and will at times show false information, like a product being in stock, and it will also let you purchase and wait like an idiot for the product that they never send out!
I don't have a big income but I really wanted to give my boyfriend a gift so I was so happy when I found the radio and to see it was within my budget. So it's safe to say I was disappointed when I found out that they let me pay for it and wait, while they hadn't event sent it out.
The main reason I chose to make this review is not that I now don't have a birthday present for my boyfriend - but the mere fact that Sony, knowing that there is a major flaw in their system, lets their customers purchase and wait for products they have no intentions of delivering since they simply don't have them.
They could at least fix the problem immediately or put a form of warning message on their website so customers can be aware of the problem while they fix it. It's only right that they do something about it and stop wasting our time and money.
