My husband & I both went for free hearing tests on 22 July & were told we would both benefit from Sonetik earing aids (amounting to £2390). We tried them for 3 days & both suffered ear infections. I took them back to Lloyd's chemist the same week & got signature for both boxes. I wrote to Sonetic & they phoned me & we were assured our money would be reimbursed. We are into the 2nd month now & still waiting for our money. I think Lloyd's should stop dealing with this company before they dupe gullible patients. Eileen Wass

Firstly, the audiologist was excellent but was at the mercy of the software that claimed the Gohear-in was suitable for my low frequency hearing loss. Hearing loss is a medical condition and thus should be treated as such. In my personal opinion, it is somewhat unethical to sell a product that makes a medical condition worse. So let's think about what happens to hearing when what little you can hear is actually blocked out by the HA and not enhanced in any way. I too suffered anxiety over the delay in refunding my money. It is not made clear at all that the 30 day money back guarantee means you can't get your money back for 30 days. People think it means you have 30 days to change your mind, not that they will hang onto your money for as long as they can.
In conclusion, if you have any kind of low frequency loss I would not personally recommend Gohear-in. Lloyd's got me my money back from Sonetik after I complained and they stepped in.

Arranged a hearing test for my mother-in-law at Lloyds Pharmacy in March 2019. After the test she was told that she needed hearing aids in both ears and was fitted with the correct aids on a thirty day money back guarantee. The hearing aids worked well but because of the small size she was could not get on with them and they were returned to the audiologist on 9th April for a full refund which we were told could take up to twenty-eight days.
No refund was forthcoming and I contacted Sonetik after one month only to be told that they had no record of the return and the audiologist was off sick. They promised to ring me back; they didn't.
I rang again a week later (now forty-five days since the return) and was told that the returned hearing aids had only arrived that very morning and an internal investigation would be carried out to find out what had gone wrong. The refund would be processed as a matter of urgency and would be back in my mother-in-law's account within three to four days.
That was twelve days ago and still no refund and no contact from Sonetik.
In my view this is not a company to be trusted.
I emailed Sonetik and informed them that I had left a negative review on Trustpilot. They replied the following day and processed the refund without further delay much to the relief of my mother-in-law.
