Dear Artists, don't load your artworks because Society6 violate your intellectual property rights, what they did to me, and in one day you can discover that your account was closed without explanation and that your art, that was created by you, with own hands and with own soul, do not belong to you anymore.Their Legal team give reply is typical of someone who is launching an absolutely baseless and groundless accusation. Society6 team are Scammers!

For the second time they stuffed up my order. The address was incorrect on the package and the order was returned to them. I am now awaiting another order of the same items. Lets see if I get this one? Last year an item took so long to arrive they had to refund me. Not impressed with the competence or lack of it.

I placed a large order in early December. Some of the items were Christmas presents. A few items arrived very quickly but a couple of items, including presents, had no tracking a week before Christmas. Concerned, I emailed Society6 and told them which items were Christmas presents. They responded to my email quickly and they were able to get my items to me before Christmas.
If I had to guess, I would guess that delays are due to printing schedules. I bet they have some items in stock and some items need to wait for their print runs.
The reason I deducted a star is not for service, but because my husband hates the feeling of the towels. One side is standard terry cloth/towel material, the other is this soft smooth material that does not feel obsorbant.
That said, getting a refund on the towels was very easy (well, the process was, I just did that today).

I recently ordered a laptop sleeve from them, and the first post it said to be delivered but didn't come after a while. Living in Australia, I was used to that stuff so I decided to be patient and give them a little more time. Nothing even after a month. However when I did reach customer service, they were quick to apologise and offer me a replacement - which has arrived within I'd say 2 weeks and a half?
In my case, I didn't need the sleeve urgently so I was willing to wait. The product itself is pretty nice - vibrant colours, crisp design, great inside and outside fabric. A bit of a bummer was that the sleeve came with creases, however I'm hoping it'll mend back its original shape over time somehow? It's not terribly noticeable anyway.
Not sure if I'll be ordering again from the site, which is unfortunate because I for one am all about supporting independent artists (as I am one, too) and love all the designs on there. I really hope to see the products get better reviews over time, maybe then I'll be ready to take another risk to order

I ordered a backpack from them almost three weeks ago; the shipping was never updated, though I checked it regularly, and I reached out to customer service twice asking about it. The second time I contacted them, I got an email back saying there was an "unexpected delay" in delivering my order, though they had never alerted me to this. At this point I am just going to cancel the whole thing as the backpack was for a trip that is coming up in just a few days now, and I'll need to find one somewhere else last minute. Very disappointing and frustrating.

Had the most unpleasant experience with Society6.
I am usually reluctant to complain and really dislike writing negative reviews, but this is what I have to share with the fellow artists:
- Problems with posting images if your upload speed is low. (no troubles with any other sites however)
I could not upload a file larger than 5 Mb. The upload page simply times out. Very unlikely that it was the system's fault because I tried it with different browsers, on different gadgets and even with different internet providers!
- Your account can get suspended without any warning or an explanation.
After a week of trying to solve the issue with the uploading I find out that my account is suspended! For legal issues no less!! My offer to prove that my art is my own and original (i. e. not fan art or reproduction - you cannot make profit of it) was utterly ignored.
- The site does not lift ban... nor do they delete the suspended account even if you ask them to. (but they do offer to start another profile. reason? to contribute another dollar?...). So... I asked them which exact work/works caused the ban on the profile. It was also ignored. I was just told that the suspension will not be lifted. I consider such lack of response dangerous... Because there might be the real thief posing as you, selling your artwork and ultimately... reporting You!!
And in the end... They don't delete your account... for whatever reason. You cannot log in. So it just stays there unsupervised by you with your uploaded designs. (the images don't show, but you see them in the profile description)
You get mostly "copy-paste" answers, a long time wait (all this took me about 3 weeks in general due to the long wait for the response) and an impression that your messages are not even read.
P.s.: My rating: The site offers a great variety of products (one plus), I admit. The interface has a very pleasant appearance (one plus). But the artist support centre yet has to develop (one minus). The site is laggy (one minus). And finally for my raked nerves and offended artist's feelings (one minus)

Based on recent reviews I was worried I wouldn't receive my items, but I got my stuff and am very impressed. It took a while to get here, but I'm in Australia so I'm used to that. Great print quality in general, very comfortable clothing, great artists, and really great sales all the time. Don't let the reviews scare you away, give them a chance and support the artists. If you're worried, test them out on something small like a notebook.

I placed an order on November 27th. And got notice it shipped December 1st. It was supposed to arrive December 7th but never came. I have emailed repeated times and have gotten no response. My package hasn’t moved. My Facebook messages go unanswered. Yet, they have my money. Absolutely horrible!!

Do not recommend wasting your money.
I ordered two items. A blanket and a water bottle. The bottle arrived first. To begin with, the lid won't seal completely. It lifts up arond the edges and won't stay down. Secondly, the print job is horrific. They distorted the image and blurred it so much. It was like they tried to wrap an image that was too small for the cup design which caused distortion and blurriness.
When the blanket arrived, I was disappointed with how thin and cheap it felt. The design looked fine, but I won't be ordering from here again.

I placed my first order with society6 and had a positive experience. It was a single item, only about $20. It shipped quickly and arrived in a few days so I decided to place a much larger order the 2nd time around. HUGE MISTAKE! A week after I ordered I received a shipping notification that had NO tracking number! I’ve contacted them via FB and their email and no response whatsoever. Apparently this happens to the majority of their customers. Such a shame as the artists don’t deserve this! Never again will I use Society6 and I highly suggest you steer clear, that is if you don’t wanna be scammed like the rest of us!

I’m really surprised by the negative reviews, I’ve placed multiple orders through a society6 and I often get complemented on the unique things I’ve boughten. My most recent, is a shower curtain and the print on it is just gorgeous. I definetly plan on ordering more curtains, and maybe even a wall mural in the future!

I ordered a quilt with the likeness of Alfred Hitchcock, done as a black on white line drawing that resembled a finger print. I was confused about shipping and contacted Society6 on FB and they got back to me within a couple minutes. Then when I got the quilt—holy Hitchcock, it is INSANELY cool. Everyone who sees it has to pick their jaw up off the ground. So, great service, outrageously amazing product!

I highly recommend to not place any orders with this company. They have Extremely poor customer service... if it even exists at all. I was sent a defective throw that looked like it had been pulled through machinery similar to a paper jam pulled out of a copier. They send bogus emails saying they are shipping a replacement that will probably never materialize. The tracking won't update because it hasn't been shipped at all. They are sketchy and need to be investigated. I know I am not the only one without a Christmas gift to give this year if they have ordered from this company. Go to their Facebook page and read all the complaints. There also isn't a way to contact them except by email and you will get a runaround for sure. Unbelievable they are able to get away with this. Buyers beware they are Scammers!

They erase my shop without prior notice, BUT they kept selling my designs, of course, without paying any royalty at all. Don't trust society6 at all.
