= In summary =
Forgot to order, never called as promised, provided contradicting information, and didn't care about it. All in one order!
Join me on this miraculously long-winded journey to simply buy a spare part:
= Week 0 =
My wife and me enter the shop. The shop attendant appears rather uninterested, but nonetheless helps us order a spare part we need for our stove. He assures us this glass plate can be installed by ourselves (remember this bit). It should arrive in the shop in less than a week and we will be contacted when it does.
= Week 2 =
I visit the shop to check whether the piece hasn't arrived yet. Another shop attendant says she doesn't work here a lot and doesn't know how everything works, but says she doesn't see the product anywhere.
= Week 5 =
I visit the shop again, meeting the first shop attendant. He checks the system and realises he didn't make the order at all. He now makes the order. Just before I leave the shop, he remembers to make a brief apology. He assures me we will get a phone call when it arrives.
= Week 7 =
After two weeks and no phone call, I go in again. It turns out the spare part had arrived, they just hadn't contacted us about it. As I ask about installation instructions, he says there are none. "How am I supposed to know how to install it then?", I ask. "Well, normally it's done by a professional", he says. I rest my case...

Varning for SMEG poor quality and poor service.
Even the service person told me so, and he hade service for several brands.
Use like 50 times for two persons and pump is broken within two years !!
The service man told me that our dishwasher was in good condition but the quality of the pump was very poor compared to other brands.
SMEG only goes for deign and give there customers worst service ever.
Never more a SMEG for me.
