These guys are a total scam! They are worse than the cable company, which makes their advertisements "to switch to them" over cable a sad joke. If you want to have money over drafted from your account and confront them about their sleazy business practices only to be ignored, use them! Wish I had never tried them at all and I hope they burn.

You cannot record all TV channels! Cannot record any ESPN or DISNEY channels: DEALBREAKER. Other streaming services allow it. Plus, DVR playback is really bad. Some sports recordings (non-ESPN) start toward the end of the show and won’t start from the beginning. Customer service tried to brush me off the phone 3 times. They are aware. They don’t care.

Wow! Just awful. Signed up after I was told I could get local OTA channels in my area. Cancelled cable and went with sling. They shipped me an Airtv box and OTA antenna and charged me for 3 months of service. Long story...no OTA channels, I called and their support told me that oh, you can't get them unless you spend $250 for an external antenna and installation. I said no. The Sling rep on the phone, Lyle, was rude and told me that I need to move closer to town if I want the local channels, like that is an option. I told Lyle I want to cancel since I can't get the channels I'm paying for. He refused to refund me as they lied about the availability. He claimed he was a supervisor and told me, "Too bad, no refunds. That's the policy." Avoid Sling TV and go elsewhere. Their service is suspect, availability of channels is terrible and their customer support is the worst I've ever encountered, and I've dealt with Sprint! 0 stars if possible

Horrible quality and even worse service.
Works for about 15-30 seconds at a time, then freezes and spins for 1 minute... sometimes indefinitely.
Started service and tried to cancel the same day - basically told too bad, you paid and now you have it for the next month.
I have gone back and forth on the phone, via facebook messages, etc... They literally place that $26 subscription fee over any level of service, despite the fact they will never see another $26 from me (or anybody that I come into contact with in person or via social media). Absolute worst company I have ever dealt with.
And in the event you do have an issue (after paying), it takes forever to get a human where you can actually speak to them... but then it is only to tell you they will not help or take actions to make things right (NOT cannot help, will not help). Each person wants to tell you about "policy policy policy"... which if that is the case, the company needs to rethink their vision - having a refund policy that is more important than customer service? Perhaps if you offered a service that worked, you would not have such a strict policy on refunds - those that offer good service with a quality product rarely have to issue refunds. The fact that the policy is so strict should be a warning.
If I had to venture a guess, this company is literally staying afloat by first time subscribers... which a strict refund policy would make sense in this case if it is your only source of revenue. I cannot imagine people keep this for long.

We have tried Sling twice now. When it was new and it was horrible. Waited and tried again with 5G satellite internet and a 4K TV and 4K Roku and it’s not one bit better!! Commercials are perfectly clear but any live streaming is worthless. Everything else we stream works perfectly.. Hulu, Netflix, HBO, everything except Sling!!! Waste of money and every time we call... a 10 minute wait to talk to someone turns into a 45 minute wait

Horrible customer service. I ordered the AirTv device, two weeks go by and no device. I called in and they told me that there was no address on the order. So they took it and sent it the shipping department. When I asked if we could at least get the order expedited. They were like "oh no, we can't help with that, only they can and you can't talk to them or anyone else who can actually do anything". Worthless

Service is horrible constant pauses black outs and no good channels. They make you keep their services don't send you receipts for your payment even when you don't want it made... Customer service is just as bad rude and very unfriendly won't help even when you're begging them for your money back. Because your 5 yr old logged in once on his TV the day after they steal your payment without notice.

Sling TV customer service is HORRIBLE..I've had dish network for 10 years and thought of switching over to SLING TV after hearing from friends how wonderful it is but they are worse then DISH..They don't help you solve your problem nor credit you..Managers are useless as well!

Until a week ago sling was doing fairly. It was buffering every 10 to 15 minutes, but it was tolerable for the low price. However now it is buffering every 20 seconds. Pluto, a free app started doing the same thing the same day. No one, no matter how patient the person, no one can stand all the buffering. Netflix and you tube do great, so it is not my internet. Im going to give it a few more days to see if this bug gets worked out then im canceling. What a waste.

I'm upset with sling, I got it solely becuz they had the NFL channel to watch all my football games, I thought I would check out other shows/movies, it was fine the first couple weeks, then my son came over and wanted to rent a movie so I did, big mistake had the movie for 2 days and it still wont play, tried to watch other things to make sure it's not sling, but nooo fir 2 days it's been kicking me off I cant watch anything now, let me say that this month sling has been off more than on, so the hype uts better than hulu it's not, o and noway to contact them either.

Upon purchasing a TV from Best Buy. I was told I would soon receive an email regarding a 30 free subscription for Sling. The email came nearly three weeks later (which is too long in my opinion). The email stated I would received a 30 day free trail membership of Sling & Showtime. I was instructed to go to website in the email, sign up and enter in the promo code listed in the email. I literally, clicked on the hyper link and followed all the steps. However, I only received a 7 day membership and my credit card was charged $27.06 as the end of the 7 day cycle. I tried contacting customer services through chat. However, the agent was very unhelpful (Vanessa). Furthermore, she proceeded to tell me there was no such thing as a 30 trail. I was beyond frustrated, considering I was looking directly at the email that stated I received a free 30 day trail. I asked her if I could forward her the email. Her exact response was "no, you can't ma'am, you can't get your money back." I then asked if I could speak to a manger. She told me it would take 2-3 mins. I waited 15-20mins to hear from a supervisor. He gave me the same story with a better attitude (David). He told me I was signed up for a 7 day trail and couldn't get my money back. Despite the fact, he reviewed the the email all the codes and all the info was valid!! I was told I could create another account and try the codes again. Why, would I trust them again?? I'm very upset with the customer service I've received. I believe this company is unethical and strongly encourage EVERYONE refrain from using their services. FYI, I plan to inform Best Buy of my experience as well.

Commercials galore. Horrible add ons with no choices. The Documentary add on is a joke. Customer service never answers the phone in the phillipines. Hulu is waaaay better. You pay $5 extra for no commercials and there Customer Service is in America.....imagine that....talking to someone who speaks your language and understands you.

I would give zero stars if it was an option! I got sling back in March on the 25th. It was a free month trial with my Amazon Fire Stick. I canceled it online once the month was up. And two months go by thinking it was already canceled and I get my bank statement today and there’s a charge of $39.98 for two months of April and May. I disliked sling so I didn’t even use it during the free trial. So I call Sling and the guy Edward I believe his name was, soo rude. He said I obviously didn’t cancel it because it’s still active and that I must not know how to do it...I’m positive I know how to use a damn website and I know I canceled it. I remember that day I canceled Amazon Prime that day as well. He was raising his voice at me and denied me to speak to a supervisor. His reasoning behind that was “they will tell you the same thing I’m telling you now”. He told me that I could not get a refund and he couldn’t do anything for me. He said they’re valid charges...they’re not valid if I don’t know about them. After talking to him myself, my father calls back to see if he’d listen to him. Upon him calling when he was transferred to him he was nice to my dad and acted like he didn’t know anything about me and that he didn’t refuse to let me speak to a supervisor. They have liars working for them. Like how ridiculous!! They charged me $79.96, what a scam! No refunds wow! DO NOT GET SLING TV ITS A GIANT SCAM WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!!🤬😡

Very unpredictable service in and out, constantly have to shut down and reopen. Paid extra for iCloud DVR, unable to fast forward through advertisements. When I questioned customer service I was told it depended on the network. I record multiple shows on multiple networks, and was never able to fast forward. What’s the point of paying for iCloud DVR, just watch it on demand it’s the exact same amount of advertisements.
Advertisements were never for the channel, was not able to see upcoming show or season dates, b/c those were all interrupted by sling tv paid ads.
Base plans are all unwatched/unheard of channel, if you want popular channels, you cannot ad on just the one channel it came as a package with other unwanted channels. Popular channels were never in the same package.
Total scam, stick with cable, cheaper in the long run, n you get local channels.

Oh, how I wish I had tried the 7-day free trial before purchasing one of Sling TV's "deals." What a monumental waste of money! And forget about getting any help from customer service! Dirty crooks! I knew immediately after purchasing their three month plan that I had made a mistake, so I chatted with customer service to see if I could cancel - nope! Not possible! This was less than 24 hours after having subscribed! You can't tell me it's not possible to reimburse my money! Seriously! I have nothing good to say about this service and I can't wait for my three months to be up!

Sling is not worth the $. The dvr service SUCKS! I’d be in the middle of a show that I recorded and it would start looping and not go on. It happened all the time & was very frustrating!! I believe there are better options available for streaming, but we ended up signing back up with DirecTV via Costco. And as sports fans that’s the best option out there.

I signed up with Sling Total Package so that I can have access to unlimited sports and kids channels. However, I have not had consistent accessibility to my "SERVICES THAT I PAID FOR" since the first week I have had these services. I have attempted to contact Sling several times in regards to the services that I have not been able to access, but each time I called, I was waiting for over an hour before hanging up. I have had to download other apps; often payment needed, so that I can view "THE SAME SHOWS, GAMES, ETC." that I paid for with this fraudulent company. Today was the final straw! Sling took away all of my sports extras all together!! I used to at least be able to see it and even click on it from time to time, but they "LITERALLY DELETED IT". I contacted Sling again today and spoke to a supervisor named Mike ID Number 99IV9. He told me that he knows I do not have the services that I paid for, but they cannot refund me for the services that I did not receive! I told them that I do not give a damn about any of their policies! I did not receive "WHAT I PAID FOR" AND ALL HE DID WAS SAY THERE IS NOTHING HE COULD DO! This is fraud!!! False advertising! YOU CANNOT CHARGE SOMEONE FOR SERVICES THAT THEY DID NOT RECEIVE!!! I WILL STOP AT NOTHING TO RESOLVE THIS! BBB ALREADY INFORMED

DVR does not work well. After you watch a recorded program, you cannot delete it without exiting Sling, restarting Sling, then you can delete the program you just watched. Another DVR flaw is if you pause a show, walk away for a few minutes, the show you are watching starts up on its own. Another DVR issue is if you pause a show, exit Sling, when you return to resume show, Sling does not remember where you paused the viewing.

Sling tv is good if your into sports. The service is awful, cuts off in the middle of a program. It will change programming randomly. Buffering constantly. If you call and complain they blame everyone else stating they have no control over the channels or programming. I never had these issues with Directv Now or CBS all access.

I called and was told they typically don’t do any sort of refund but he got me approved for 29.99. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told i would not be getting any refund not even the 29.99 they previously offered. It’s a scam in my opinion

Signed up for Sling with a promotion from AirTV 5 months ago. During that time I've found the service to be unpredictable, non working, frequent crashes. Customer service is a joke. They know one answer only, reset your device. Horrible service. Don't waste your time or money, unless you treasure endless frustration. I really tried to work through the issues before I realized they were simply delay tactics.
