The Lakeshore Bar Chair Vintage Dark Gray swivel bar/counter stool was very easy to put together. It is reasonably comfortable, however, for most women, the back slants back too much making it not as comfortable. Even sitting to the back of the seat, I cannot feel the seat back until I lean way back. The other issue is that the seat rises very easily and very fast. If you need to lower the seat, you have to get off the seat and press down very hard in order to get it to move down a bit. Otherwise, the chair is very pretty, very comfortable, looks very very nice.

This is a FRAUD!!!!! If you like throwing away your money to thieves that will gladly accept your payment and never deliver your product, Sleek Modern Furniture is the way to go. I had the same issue, back ordered product, support team delays, and then nothing! This went on for 6 months! I had to contact my bank to resolve the fraudulent activity! DO NOT order from this website!

If I could give Sleek Modern Furniture ZERO stars I would. I have been waiting for my dining chairs that were in stock for nearly 2+ months. Customer service is friendly and responsive (so they earned the one star), but no one has any answers, they blame it on their vendors and do nothing. I am beyond frustrated and STILL DO NOT HAVE MY CHAIRS. I have reached out to them 15+ times for updates. Buy your furniture elsewhere if you actually want it to arrive...ever.

I ordered some nesting tables on feb5 ,2019 . I got a response that its being processed . Its way beyond 5-15 business days and no one responds or emails me back ! Not professional and unresponsive !
My 1st time ordering from an unknown company and I wouldnt recommend it either . Never had problems from wayfair or amazon !

Worst Website ever! I order bar stools back in November. I was told for months that things were delayed due to a supplier issue. They were very responsive in the beginning and in the last 3 months it has been radio silence. This site is a complete fraud. I have called, help chatted and sent a lot of emails with no response. Do not trust this website.

No way are the 5 star reviews real.
We found a set of chairs that we really liked. We are not big on ordering online, but chanced it as theses chairs looked great. My card got charged as soon as the order was made. 3 weeks later order had not even been "fulfilled" - much less shipped. Their customer service is pleasant - when you can get through. Which is on average once a week.
My advice: avoid.

Ordered an item in November 2018 had to check on it multiple times since it never was delivered on date the tracking said. Finally, in January 2019 they notified me it was going to be canceled after I emailed repeatedly asking where it was they informed me I wouldn’t be receiving item since, they don’t carry the item anymore. This coffee table is still on the website. They said it would take up to 15 business days to refund money. On the 15th day no refund was posted yet again I had to reach out and they sent me a receipt saying the posted a refund on the 15th day and in fine print it would take another 10 business days to post to bank account. A month and half to get my refund is absurd. For 4 months they have had my money and no product was ever shipped. Terrible company. Make sure you’re ready to check on your item constantly since, they don’t send you any notifications if things are running behind and be prepared to wait a long time for a refund.

I ordered a bed set on January 10, 2019. I have not received it yet and was charged the full amount in January. I have wrote several emails with no reply. When they did reply, they blamed it on a supplier issue in February. It is now almost May. I have contacted my credit card company because this is a fraudulent scheme and have reported Sleek Modern Furniture to the BBB immediately. I do not believe the good reviews on this website.

Originally I posted a 2 star review out of frustration with an excessive shipping delay. However, I was contacted by the company who made no excuses for the delay, apologized and really went over and beyond to make the situation right. I now have my merchandise and am very pleased with the service that I ultimately received.

Be sure to read the BAD reviews, I did not and now I am sorry! I have been waiting for an order for over a month past the date it was promised. Reached out to customer service many times via email and directly on the phone. Most of the time you get an answering machine and emails are responded to however they just push off the problem by saying that the manufacturer is having problems and they will have a tracking number for me in a few days. Well, those few days have now been 4 weeks and I still have nothing. I have NEVER written a review for any company but feel compelled to warn people about the issues with this business. Think more than twice before you order something from here!

Placed an order in July of 2018. The item I received was the wrong item entirely. After calling the company, arrangements were made to return the item and I understood I had a credit on account with SMF. After diligent searching online, I finally found the replacement piece I wanted. I called SMF, dealt with Kaley. She was helpful. I placed an order in early Jan. 2019. To date (3/8/19), I’ve recieved NO confirmation of order, NO tracking number and NO positive correspondence from Kaley or anyone else at SMF. I cannot even get a human to answer the phone (31 calls between Jan and today). I need recourse NOW!

There are many companies to purchase furniture from online - DO NOT PURCHASE FROM SLEEK MODERN. Placed an order on November 30th and it has yet to ship. Product is and has been in stock with the manufacturer. My credit card was charged right after purchase, so over a month ago, with no shipping information. I have called and emailed. I eventually get an email but never any information from Sleek Modern as to when my sofa will ship. I have confirmation from the product manufacturer that they have the product and the shipping delay is not on their end. I sent an email to Sleek Modern on 1/9/19 with no response, called 1/11/19 so they had to talk to me. I was assured that they will call me by end of day with information and guess what....... NO CALL NO EMAIL NOTHING. You really should not give this company any money.

First off - the bar stools are FANTASTIC!. Great price, well made. Just perfect for my counter. I also can't say enough about the Customer Service at Sleek Modern Furniture. While I was still deciding between a few different options I noticed that the site did not provide the total height of the stool. After a quick chat session with a CS agent, she called the manufacturer and was able to provide me those details. As my order got close to ship time, I was again in touch with CS, and they were again proactive in calling the manufacturer, and confirming with me the exact ship date. This level of Customer Service is rare these days. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Ordered tables in December, it is April and no table and no credit. I had to email five times to get a response. I left VM’s - no one has ever returned a call or answered the phones. Their best answer when I finally harangued them into responding? Dispute the charge, it will be faster. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE
