The product idea and concept was missing and needed in the product area of mobile hotspot. The service works solid from the start. Any technical- and support questions was answered immediate and competent.

The sky roam product is very good to have on international trips. It is easy to setup and use wherever in the world you are and can receive cellphone coverage. I used it last in Kenya and had day passes left. Which leads me to the support folks! Super nice and very efficient! I give them 5 STARS!
I could not figure out how to find my day passes. It had been a while since I’ve used it. So I sent a simple request to Support and they gave me the exact commands to figure it out. In my efforts to find out how many day passes I had left, I pushed the wrong button and burned one. When I got back with the support they just reinstated that they pass for me. Like I said 5 STARS!

Again customer support came through in super fast time. I needed to deactivate the unit because of either human error or software issues and Lemuel from customer support corrected my issue within 2 hours of my email. Amazing. Thanks Lemuel!

This thing is pointless. Couldn't even get it to register to ANY of my devices. Turned it on per instructions, let it settle down to a constant WiFi light (took about ten minutes even though I have strong signal on my phone), went through the registration procedures with the app on my phone, scanned the QR code, all I got was the spinning wheel. Tried for times, same thing. Called support, nobody answers, nobody calls back. Nice idea, but they're not very good at it. Poor design, poor engineering, poor user interface. Use your phone for a hot spot while traveling, Skyroam Solis is pointless.

Skyroam do not deliver what they promise. I’ve been in Hawaii and have struggled to get internet access in both Honolulu and Maui. At most times, speed is less than 1Mb/s. When I use my regular Australian mobile, my speed is around 16Mb/s. I complained to Skyroam support who simply quoted me their T’s &C’s. Also gave me a spin story about the location of the towers. What BS!!!

Had it for at least a year (maybe two). Barely used. Worked in the beginning. Did not work when I needed it last overseas trip to St Thomas and St John. Had difficulties in Tahiti during beginning of summer. To be fair though, I didn’t check the coverage before traveling... but when I got home to Dallas Tx, I tried it again and it still did not work. Customer service use to be helpful but they wouldn’t help me unless I refilled my data (after I left it on so they could troubleshoot). Which is weird right? I switched to new carrier. I really use to like these guys but I can not recommend them anymore. Hope this helps - Trent

I travel the world. it works sometimes and not other times. it's almost like operating the Russian space station.... you gotta be mindful of little tweeks... the temperamental nature of this device. I hope to God there will be something more predictable. i have been stranded numerous times relying on this device. Yes it works. yes, sometimes it doesn't.

I had both the Skyroam Global hotspot and the Solis and unfortunately, my monthly subscription to the hotspot couldnt be used since the device gave up on me. As a last resort, I asked Support if it was possible to transfer my subscription to the Solis and to my pleasant surprise, Austin responded promptly and transferred my subscription immediately. Now, I can use the subscription I paid for and I have Austin to thank for that!

I have had a Skyroam for over 5 years ....travel to SE Asia every year ...I would not leave home without it !! It works every time and in areas where WiFi signals are weak ...indispensable ! Highly recommend for travelers...and if you have questions or problems which are few ...customer service is great ...they do what they say they will do ...Jay helped me promptly and I am extremely happy !

Using Skyroam quite some time and switched recently to the new Solis X 4G LTE hotspot.
Love it! Easy to use, nice features like power bank and remote camera and above all... EXCELLENT FAST SUPPORT!
I had few questions, opened a ticket and within shortest time all questions had been answered in great detail and all "issues" had been solved. Thx Austin!

Buyer beware. After having waited a week for the 4 day August 2019 sale, I received my SolisX in a timely fashion. However, the receipt did not indicate the sale and customer service both text and phone said essentially, 'so sad, too bad.' When I asked to speak to Supervisor I was told they only work M-F 9-6. They will call me. Does anyone want to bet as to whether or not I get a call?
So then I asked for the address to return the gadget because I will not do business with a company that practices bait and switch.
I was told someone has to call me for that too.

When the new Solis X came out, I ordered one + de free Travel Case + free shipment, and was delivered the same week by UPS
( I live in the Netherlands ). Unfortunately the Travel case will be sent afterwards, due to the riots in Hongkong.
I already have an account so there was no problems setting up, but the former Solis stayed appearing in my account and that bothered me a lot. A friend is interested in the Solis without the cam and mic. All she wants is a wifi and nothing more.
As my payment data is also connected to my account, the presence of the Solis is not a very good idea.
Skyroam Support Team online ( specially assistants - Lemuel and Chaz ) were very kind and patient, and helped me concerning my account, and paired Solis X to my device. It was awesome and I'm very happy with the device, and I'm also really very impressed with the support service, as I can get help anytime, no matter where I am, as long as I have Wi-FI.

Got my new Skyroam Solis X. It was so easy to set up. Got a fast 4G connection and the app works well with the Solis X. I travel outside of the U.S. and I use Skyroam a lot. The Solis X is a major improvement over the original Solis. I like it a lot.
