I literally hate this internet it’s not good at all I wish I still had BT this internet never work it keep working then the box lights up orange and it doesn’t work and it does it the same time every day somedays it does it all day and when it is working the connection is that bad u can’t use it round the house and my house is small u have to be near the box for it to work better just don’t get from sky because u will regret it

Promised 28 mps only got a max of 5.2.cancelled tonight & straight away fell to 3.2. Hmmm. Been a Sky customer since it’s inception. TV will be the next to go. Off to BT I think.

Recently moved house and decided to stay with Sky. As an alleged priority customer of 17 years I need not worry. What a load of old tosh. Not sure the left hand knows what the right hand is doing? Finally don’t worry we’ll have an engineer with you on the 16th September. In the meantime I get a txt to say send all your hardware back. Then a day later we activate you remotely anytime up until midnight! So now I have to set up myself. Great thanks Sky.

After having speeds of 38mps with Vodafone and being told they were providing me with 80mbps I decided to switch to sky after having good service with them in the past... BAD Idea... After 2 weeks of joining up to the fastest speed we had 3 nights of speed dropping to 2mbps when their app claimed I was getting 80mbps and that the service I was receiving was good. When trying to ring to talk to someone several times I had to talk to the robot who told me that any complaints or faults could only be reported within certain hours yet as soon as I said I was a new customer wanting to sign up their was staff available straight away... Terrible customer service and lies about speeds I was receiving they told me it must be my device... No every device in the house was receiving the same stupidly low speed and so wouldn't work at all... Was also told if I wanted to pay extra they could guarantee that I recieved the speed I was originally promised in every room of the house lol...the most I ever recieved was 30mbps whilst being told I was getting 80 No thanks.. Never again

I was with Sky for a year. They were relatively good in the beginning but in a couple of months the speed went well down, and then even lower. For about 8 months my speed was 1.5-2 Mbps instead of promised 11 Mbps. It was 18 months contract, and i was thinking to call for an early termination, i was ready to suffer losses paying the fees till the end of the term but i couldn't stand it anymore. Luckily, i was moving home and they could not transfer my package there, because it was not marketed anymore. They offered me a new wonderful deal with allegedly higher speed, which i did not miss the opportunity to decline, and requested for termination. They did agreed without any hitches, i must give it to their Customer Support. Therefore i give them 2 stars, not 1.

I wished I could have scored them 0 star,,, no broadband service for days and when we do get it the speeds are so slow,, calling into the customer service and waiting over 3 hrs,,, how do sky think this is acceptable in 2019!!!

Sky unbelievable. Charging elderly couple for services that they don’t use, selling them stuff that they know they don’t need. Taking advantage of the language barrier. Charging £45 for 2 years for something that should have been £24.

Their broadband is terrible but their customer service is even worse if that’s possible No internet for over 3 days and when I check it says my speed could be better and to wait another 48 hours before they are interested however wasn’t prepared to do this so contacted them they then blamed the router and said it would take over a week to get a new one all the time leaving me without the service I’m paying for plus I have to pay for a new router even though they can’t be certain the router is faulty and the checks I carried out clearly stated their is no issue with the router it is the speed also I can’t leave as they conned me into signing a new contract when I had a problem with service in March asked if they would just let me leave but told I would have to pay an early termination fee So my choices are pay for a new router or pay to leave pointed out that I wasn’t receiving the service I was paying for and actually they should have provided a new router when I resigned as new customers get this for free was told either pay for router or pay to terminate contract early or if I wasn’t prepared to do either then they would keep charging me for a service they are aware is not working until March Insulted by their staff but in technical department and so called retention they made no effort to assist me and ridiculed me for working 9- 5 and living alone Will be leaving and let them take me to court for their termination fee Have recorded phone calls will be contacting BBC Watchdog and press to share them

Just don't bother, been without internet for nearly a month. They ofered me £13 compensation. But I'm paying over £30 for a service I'm not getting. And can only cancel by phone, and that department seams to always be closed up.

This Internet is the biggest load of crap ever. its so slow you can't even watch any movies or anything. the 4g on my phone runs better than this. would advise people not to buy product 4 this is the worse broadband I have ever come across in my life. Sky are just money robbers hands down and need to sort this problem its a joke

Latest is we have to manually sign into sky settings and change the channel to different numbers between 1-12 avoiding 1,6 and 12. Ridiculous in this day and age.

Sky broadband have been consistently utterly RUBBISH since spring last year. The last 6 days have been especially crap with us having to constantly use mobile data instead of WiFi. Can’t connect to YouTube from my phone to tv either.
Absolute joke. I’ve already moved to another supplier so looking forward to the transfer.

It appears that if you have disabilities and are of a certain age Sky can put the boot in using data protection not to sort out what they have had the audacity to do deliberately .Block your emails making you wait 45 min for those on remits to justify Their negligence via data protection re: them not us .They have left me without an email all day because I had arranged to keep the same on putting Bills all in one place they knew I had to keep same email address as can't remember verification or sky emails that does not work on apple .I have spent all day sitting in queues of 45 min knowing am an Accessibility customer so employing the disabled to meet out the discrimination using data protection against us then targeting those in need of assistance the victims .As why did they not inform & sort out before protected themselves this was done on purpose deliberately & they should be made to compensate likewise Information Commissioner as this is fraud ..Compensation is needed. How unethical can you get .As for Ofcom it colludes by disregarding individuals ??!!They should be held accountable too.

Called sky on Saturday. We are having problems with the internet speed. We were getting 50 plus mbps but now we get at best 30 and at worst not even 1. I did say that we would be prepared to pay more to get the faster speeds but they tell me this is not possible. The service is up and down. It used to be so reliable and good. We did cut down our billing and at the time we’re told they had a new deal on Broadband but they guaranteed a minimum of 32. We rarely achieve this and they said they checked and we’re getting 40. I seriously don’t think so. Someone is fudging the numbers. What has happened to this company ??

As of writing this review I actually do not know by personal experience if it's good or bad I have read all bad though, I signed up to the sky tv broadband and talk 7 weeks ago only have sky tv. They keep fobbing us off with install dates for broadband had 3 appointment booked they missed them all as they changed the dates with out talking to us and they were our selected dates. Every time we have called they do not know what the problem is or really know what they are talking about. Gave us another date which is 2 weeks away totalling up to 9 week's. I mentioned compensation and he said we wasn't entitle to any! Are you joking?! I quoted to him What it says on there web site which is £5 a day after the first missed appointment back 7 weeks ago and will be 9 when and if completed and £25 a day for each other missed appointment which technically there has been 4 so that is alot of money and I told them this and they say I'm not entitle to any of it!! I'm so angry!! AVOID AVOID AVOID!! Most of the staff we have spoken to seem polite but even after my last call and things changing being fixed and then more problems follow and people don't know it's happening and being told we are not entitle to the compensation I'm done I don't even want to cancel now after waiting this long and have to wait longer.

Sky overcharged us on our monthly payments and make it nearly impossible to contact them to try and get my own money back.
There's no customer service email address. I tried calling and was told there would be a long wait by a robot. And, in order to try and log a complaint online I have to set up a Sky Id account, download the Sky app which takes time and gives this corporation more of my personal data.
Absolute disgrace. Give me my money back.

been a sky customer for 16 years was promised Sky fibre max with high speed internet but they changed my package during the contract term & charges went higher, paying £27 per month for only 15mb speed, will definitely cancel my subscription now had enough every term they renew contract you get tricked to paying a lot more and getting less in return!

Absolute waste of money. The wifi price is cheaper then competitors however the performance off the wifi while using mobiles gaming devices and streaming (Netflix) is terrible. In addition, the cancellation fee is £10 per month for the total amount of months you want to cancel before the end of the contract. The customer service team are a waste of time as they leave you on hold for large time periods and do not resolve the issue but rather dance around the problem by offer more costly packages.

I don’t even want to give them 1*. Ive been a customer for years and the amount of times they have let me down, charged for services I didn’t want, my broadband is awful and I ended up costing myself money using my 3G in my one home as internet so poor.
Now on top of all that I have a scam phone number that they’re trying to charge me for. I’ve said I will look into what this number is as they’re totally unhelpful. I’ve paid all my bill apart from this one charge and instead of helping me investigate they threaten costs and have been very difficult in the matter.
Once I’ve decided on a new provider I will be moving as I can’t take any more from how useless sky are.
Also getting through the time is impossible and once I do they’re totally unhelpful!

Sky are absolutely useless. Ordered broadband on 4/9/19, told it would be activated on 12/9/19., it wasnt. told it would be 20/9/19- it wasnt. told it would be 2/10/19, then the 5th which was guaranteed. So on the 4th, I had an email cancelling my order. I think they have done this so they dont have to pay the £5 per day non activation . Avoid at all costs.

Atrocious broadband service. Keeps hiking the prices up. Locks you in for another 12 months so you can't leave. Service keeps dropping, I keep calling up to get engineers to come fix the problem, the engineers can't find a problem but then miraculously the service is fine for a month after the engineer visit and then starts dropping again the month after. I call up again, they say there are no faults on the line, and the cycle repeats. Last time I called up yesterday they blamed ME for poor service because I was doing things on the internet that would make it break like WATCHING NETFLIX?! C'mon guys, EVERYONE who has internet streams TV. If your poor excuse of a broadband cannot cope with TV streaming then clearly something is terribly wrong with your service! The rude lady then said I needed to upgrade to fibre to get a better service at an extra £15/month! I said no way so she said she'd send an engineer out to fix the problem at a £15 cost!!! To fix SKY'S problem!!! When I questioned this, she said it was because the engineer was coming on a Saturday (a "premium" day) and the lady was doing me a favour so I didn't have to take time off work. I said I work from home so am happy to have the engineer come during the week. She was clearly just trying to make an extra £15 for Sky. What absolute scam artists! AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!
