Enjoyed the quizzes after each lecture, really helped to reinforce the teaching. Chaos & Clues is a great algorithm

I thought the conference was very good. It met my expectations.
I wish we could have had coffee in the lecture hall though. I had a little trouble hearing at times. And the plugs for book sales was just a little over the top, but I bought one so I can continue working on my recognition skills. And I think it would have been fun to break into groups and analyse images with people to reinforce the decision making process. Normally I don’t like breaking into groups, but in this realm it would have been helpful.
The huge amount of information was hard to digest into a working skill set given the time constraints, so I left feeling like I had a lot to go over on my own to inculcate it all into my skin cancer practice. Also I wish that the dermatoscopes offered to attendees were a bit higher end so that polarised images were possible.
I would recommend this conference to colleagues who have not been adequately trained in the minutiae of skin disease recognition protocol.
I would also have liked to hear more about skin image management solutions so that my patients can be managed in an efficient manner over time, as the data of skin cancer care and follow up poses a daunting task.
Thank you for a helpful conference and I do look forward to approaching my skin cancer care as an adjunct to the prosaic work of general practice.

I recommend this course to any GP.
It was informative, thorough and relevant to daily practice. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

I have attended the fundamental dermatoscopy, treatment of skin cancer and advanced dermatoscopy courses. It was great to recap the skills of how to use a dermatoscope, pattern recognition and learning about features of malignant lesions. I felt that a significant proportion of the fundamental and advanced dermatoscopy courses overlapped. Perhaps the fundamental course show be even more basic and fundamental to prepare practitioners to identify features and use dermatoscopy. The advanced course in my opinion has plenty of academic and detailed features of skin cancers, several of which the class still could not figure out. On one hand Amanda will ask us to identify lesions of SCC vs AK vs Melanoma without using prediction without pigment. It seems Amanda felt cut off commenting about medical aspects of SCC. On the hand Cliff will go back to "cut it out" without specifying how. If he can elaborate fine features of BCC perhaps the next step would to be teach and quiz attendants on how to cut it out e.g. Punch, narrow or wide excision, flap or graft or refer to surgeon etc.
Overall it is an excellent course to teach practitioners how to accurately recognise suspicious lesions and how to identify benign lesions and gives practitioners the confidence to be looking at skin cancers and have better diagnostic outcomes that those not trained

Fantastic course. I was attentive for every minute at the 2 day course, trying to absorb as much as I can the practical knowledge I can apply to my everyday clinical practice. The course is also well coordinated with good communication by the organisers every step of the way.

Good content. Easy to follow and listen to speakers.
However also noted some of content was similar to symposium in March.

The presenters made what is a very grey area/topic appear much more in black & white. Clear diagnosis pathways and tips.
