I had a bad experience with Skandia a few months (see the story below). After I wrote a review on Trustpilot, I was soon contacted by a department's manager. He apologized a lot for bad service and explained the situation. My former employer kept paying for my health insurance for almost a year after I stopped. The issue was solved and I could keep using my insurance.
In the last 3 months I've used Skandia insurance a few times. It's very nice that you can go to any physiotherapist. Skandia only limits how much they cover per one tretment. I could also get to two specialists (speciallæge) within 10 days. It makes a big difference. If I had to wait 2-3 months for a public doctor, I could just get more sick because of waiting.
The service is good but sometimes too slow. The hotline is often busy. I often wait 5-8 minutes before I can get in touch with a nurse.
I stopped at my previous job in August 2016. Before that I contacted Scandia and said that I wanted to continue with my pension and insurances because the new employer didn't have it.
I first heard from them TWO months later in the beginning of October! I got the new documents signed.
I got injured at the end of November. I reported the injury. Since then I have been in contact with Skandia a few times regarding the possible treatment. But 3 weeks ago I got a letter that I hadn't had a health insurance with Skandia after I stopped at my previous employer.
