I recently ordered a new dive mask from simply Scuba I thought it best to contact them by phone as I also required Prescription lenses for the mask.
They were so helpful and confirmed each stage of the transaction to make sure we were both on the same page .

Really disappointing experience with Simply Scuba and regret I will not be shopping with them again.
I'd grown to be a fan of Simply Scuba and found their online presence to be brilliant, so I decided to purchase some items from them. Having ordered items shown as in stock and paid, I was contacted to advise that one of the items I had ordered was not in stock and they would let me know when it was. No problem, I replied, just let me know.
I subsequently was told they would not be getting anymore of the product in stock so I requested details of alternatives. An alternative was suggested at a cost of £70 above the circa £150 I had already paid. The cost of this item was significantly above prices available from other retailers so I asked if they would be willing to price match.
Unfortunately the response was "Unfortunately we are not able to price match for the Faber 15l cylinder. I am aware it is a very competitive market but I am afraid it would not be cost effective for us to price match.
I am really sorry to all the inconvenience caused and would understand if you now wish to cancel all of your order."
Whilst the lady behind the customer service email was polite and kind, the failure to seek an opportunity to redress my disappointment, caused by their error in allowing ordering of an item out of stock, is akin to a company more concerned with profit than building a solid customer base.
It may not have been cost effective for them to price match however they missed an opportunity to redress disappointment in their service, and secure my future custom.
A salient lesson for me, I've always dealt with my local Dive Shop (Boldon Dive Centre) and they've never missed a beat - I should have, and will in future, stick with them!

I highly recommend Simply Scuba to anyone who is looking to buy SCUBA or snorkelling equipment.
I have been looking for some fins for snorkelling and they need to be short enough to go in my carry on luggage - most adverts and websites do not give overall lengths for fins, so I decided to phone Simply Scuba and speak to a human being (I know - crazy!!!)
Dawn, Abbie and Kate (there were a few phone calls) were so friendly, helpful and patient, even going out into the warehouse with a tape measure to measure the four specific fin variants I was looking at. The outcome is that I am having three different sets of fins (Seac Sub Speed in yellow and in blue and Cressi Pluma) delivered to me, so that I can try them on and then send back the pairs I don't want; Kate explained that it is a simple process to return unwanted items when shopping with Simply Scuba, as they send a returns label out with the order.
If anyone is interested - I am a foot size 7 to 8 and the lengths were as follows - SEAC Sub Speed = 22.5", SEAC Sub Spinta = 23", SEAC Sub Ala = 25", Cressi Pluma = 21".

I am honestly speechless about the customer service at Simply Scuba...………….it was that GREAT. I had ordered a new regulator package that was on promotion for my daughters graduation gift. A couple of days after I placed the order they emailed me and said that their online inventory records were incorrect and that the first stage was out of stock and the manufacturer would not be able to replenish inventory for 30 days; I could keep the order on file or amend my order for another product. I told them I would amend my order for something in stock because it was important to me to have it for my daughter when she graduated (along with a surprise daddy/daughter scuba trip to The Turks and Caicos). I told them what I wanted, which was more expensive than my original order, ready to accept the additional cost.. They said "no problem we will upgrade your order at no additional charge". WHAT?????? Didn't expect that or see it coming. Great job by Dawn and Sam for creating an incredible customer experience. Constant, timely, and honest communication. I think that's hard to come by these days.

I have used Simply Scuba for years now, the communication and service is always excellent. Recently I had to return a faulty Item, a returns label was sent to me promptly and and product returned for free, a short wile after I had a phone call requesting if I wanted a refund or a replacement. 2 days later a replacement arrived.
Keep up the good work, they are my first choice every time.

Have emailed Simply Scuba a few times asking questions and they have always responded very fast. Purchased a wetsuit and fins on their site on Thursday, despatched Friday, delivered to me in France Saturday! WOW seriously impressed. Products were as expected and cost as good as anywhere else and better then most.

Honestly the best company i have ever dealt with! I ordered some Mares Wave finns, a completely separate brand to Simply Scuba, after around 3 months with the finns they started to rip, subsequently i contacted support. A young man named Jack Smith replied within around 15 minutes (on a Saturday), and asked simply for some pictures of the damage, i sent him the pictures and within no more than 3 minutes i had received an email verifying the refund had been completed. No need to even send back the old finns. A pleasure to deal with and will most definitely be returning.

I recently purchased an item and received the wrong item.
I can see why this happened as the item was labelled wrongly.
I called customer service and they arranged a collection on the wrong items and delivery of the correct the next day.
the service was excellent and the website is extremely easy to use and they have very helpful videos

I bought a Suunto Eon Steel dive computer last month without the pod. This month they had an offer if you buy a Suunto eon steel you will receive a free pod with it. I seen the add online and I thought I will give them a call and try to claim a pod as I bought mine less than a month ago. I called the customer service, they checked my order and they send me the pod next day !! Amazing and fair company! Thank you Simply Scuba !

Twice I posted a review on Simply Scuba Website about a heated vest. I think because it was negative they would't publish it on the website.
Very disappointed!
They obviously only post reviews that will sell items!
The easy response from Simply Scuba is to say "you must be mistaken, we can't take a review of the website" which is of course nonsense.

Bought a premium pack snorkel set. Everything seemed OK until we went to use it for the 1st time, (in Mexico). Within 10 seconds in the water the fins came off as they were too large. On calling Simply Scuba we were told they couldn't change them as they had been used and we didn't have the original packaging. "Our bad luck" they said. No goodwill, nothing! Very poor customer service.

I recently placed an order for a thermulation undersuit. I had to talk to their customer services team to get some information about the product and they were very helpful. The item was despatched the next day and I got it the day after that. Not bad for free postage! Very happy, will be using them again.

Placed an order on the website on Friday, then told on Tuesday I won't receive the items till Thursday!
This is despite being told on there website id receive the goods on Tuesday.
Really let down as my order items were to take on holiday, now my goods won't arrive till I've already left the country, false advertising of Delivery dates and even worse customer service when I phoned up, I was told to check the small print!!!
Will never buy from these cowboys again, 5 day delivery service what a total joke especially when they tell you it's a two day delivery service.
Don't use these fools!

Great range of products no matter what your budget and they seem to offer the best prices on some of the big brands. Product videos on site really useful too if you're a beginner wanting to make an informed choice. Delivery is swift too so I have every reason to use them again.

Used simply scuba to replace my surface marker spool. Good choice on web site, reasonable prices and simple to use. Spool was deilivered swiftly and left in safe site as per instructions.

i find this mask is very comfortable and clear but i found that i was seeing more of my regulator than my gauges/computer although this maybe the fact that i dive with the poseidon jetstream regs and wear my computer/slates ect on my left arm.i decided to invest in a proper proscription mask instead.simply scuba are a first class online shop and i have bought several items of simply scuba and will buy again without hesitation,they are very helpfull and know their stuff.postage is also very prompt
