Had problems with my OnePlus. They tried to solve it, but it would have cost more. So they provided a refund. Quick response by Aya.
I got a new insurance on my new OnePlus!

God awful service. Sent phone away, two weeks later nothing. Phone they have no clue at all. Ask them to find out will send emails. No response from them. Sent several emails no response from them. Keep telling you they will send and email but never hear anything.
Ask to speak to manager they refuse, because I am not happy and firm, they then say they are going to hang up because they they are so sensitive.
Would never recommend. Based in Germany so you get no help .

I bought an insurance, which advertised in English so I expected English service that stated 'We've got you covered for all types of liquid damage'. Upon filling in a complicated German form I must have filled something in wrong because they are telling me any claims due to liquid damage (rain water) are not covered.
Their words exactly are;
"According to the given information, the insured device was not damaged by any of the covered damage events. We classify the described defect as an manufacturer issue for which there is a guarantee or warranty claim. As the iPhone Xs Max is advertised as waterproof/water resistant, we can't accept your claim.
Furthermore, you mention your phone was damaged by contact with liquids (rain water). According to the terms and conditions of the insurance, we can't accept a claim when the damages are caused by rain or snow."
This is ridiculous, and I should of been informed that no claims of liquid damage would be covered on a water resistant phone.
This is infuriating as I got this insurance to be covered.
*In respose to the reply*
If only you replied to emails this quick.
There was no language option on the page and I specified the phone was in a wet pocket, not that it was rainfall. It is possible I selected the wrong category but I was unable to see the categories in English.
I don't understand how you can advertise the insurance as All Liquid Damage, then refuse, as you have said, liquid damage. Apple clearly states that their Water Resistance is not covered under any warranty.

Done everything they asked, sent them the invoice etc... Last message I received was over 3 months ago saying
"We thank you for sending us your invoice.
Your claim is in a working process, we will inform you soon about the further steps.
For further questions, please feel free to contact us.
With best regards,
This is unacceptable how you treat one of your customers.
I will be now complaining to the financial ombudsman.

I took out an insurance policy with SimpleSurance in August 2019 for a refurbished Samsung S9+. I couldn't find anything on their website or in the terms and conditions regarding whether they covered refurbished devices or not so I called them to ask. They explicitly told me on the phone that they do cover refurbished phones, so I took out a policy with them.
My phone was then stolen by a cycling gang (!) in November 2019, so I tried to make a claim with them. They then told me they were cancelling my policy because they "only cover phones that are less than 6 months old" and there is no way to confirm the age of my device since it is refurbished.
Naturally I was absolutely disgusted with this since I had called to ask before taking out the policy, not sure if they did it through incompetence or malice. I know their name is Simple but I hoped their employees are able to answer basic direct questions.
So their idiocy personally costed me about £270. The phone was about £340 and the policy was £70 which they said they will refund, but I haven't received yet.

Avoid this company. They hardly respond to emails and always find a way to pay you less. Its is not worth to insure your device as they always count depreciation, you pay for insurance and then excess.
I insured 2 devices at this company and both ways it would were better not to insure but fix myself.
1st example, phone value 750€, I had screen and frame damge, they said its unrepairable, 750€ minus 20% depreciation (6 to 12 months old phone) its 600€, then minus excess of 75€, 525€ left and minus insurance for a year about 75€, and all you are left is 450€ out of 750€. .
Second time my phone was less than 6 months but they offer me used phone for 540€ just because they can do so under agreement you probably never read.
So my advice is either not to insure your phone with this company or not to insure at all as it is cheaper to fix at any repair shop.
I hope it will help everyone.

Horrendous! Do not be fooled into buying insurance as a convenient “bolt on” through organisations such as Revolut.
When it comes to a claim, they ask you to produce documents left right and centre to slow you down and avoid processing a claim, save yourself the pain, or buy a big packet of aspirin! Not ok!
Will be escalating to the regulator.

After overcoming initial troubles contacting the company (there's no branch in my country), everything went smoothly when the proper communication channel was established. I would recommend a revision of available phone numbers for different countries...or even better, a callcenter, where they would simply connect you to the right person at once. Otherwise - the repair went dead quick and to my full satisfaction. Thank you

I availed of phone insurance from Simpleensurance through a third party. As I write this review I am so angry I didn't read the other reviews on trustpilot. Please for the love of God do not under any circumstances buy any for of insurance from the company. I want to cancel my contract and for some reason I was told that I am unable to do so after 14 days. Now I went through the entire purchaseing process again out of curiosity and it never mentions anything about not been able to cancel contracts. I reported this company to the financial conduct authority FCA.

Ok, So I do not write reviews for the service, however after reading so many negative ones I believe that (mostly) positive one would be nice for the them.
So, the good: I've sent my phone for the repair and had it sent back very quickly. In the matter of fact it all took six days (Wednesday to Monday). Upon inspecting the phone after receiving it, it seems that the job is done correctly (i.e. no ghost touches on the screen, weird glue residue etc). I'm happy to have my phone back so quickly.
The bad: Receipt needs to be absolutely spotless. I actually had to explain mine trough the emails as the IMEI number wasn't obvious, so bear in mind that you need to have the correct IMEI on the receipt which brings me to point two. They offer ONE YEAR contract out of which you cannot easily opt out. Yes, it's cheap trough Revolut, but you will have to pay till the end of the contract.
After having my initial doubts I'm happy that I've been served very quickly and professionally. And I would recommend this company due to the costs involved.

The company never paid back for the damages to the phone it should have covered on the grounds that I alerted them more than 7 days after the fall. It is absolutely not clear about what you should do either, they give you the impression that the devices is insured as soon as you send it to OnePlus.
Just scam! Avoid paying 70€ for a worthless insurance.
PS: also they never sent any confirmation upon the good reception of the payment or any procedure to follow as how to file "a claim" that should be of course automatic within OnePlus as we register the device upon buying it.

AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!
Avoid Simplesurance, it is by far the worst company out there that I have ever dealt with. I have made a claim and waited more than 2 days for an email with informations, asking me to send my device to another country for repairs. Obviously i didn't want to do that as I have read some bad reviews about this company I have decided I will not use their services to lose my device forever. I have replaced my phone under warranty with Vodafone. I have than asked for my insurance to be cancelled but they refused saying that I am in a 12 month contract! I have bought the insurance through the Revolut App and regret it a lot, there was no information that I am entering a 12 month contract and that it cannot be cancelled earlier! I wish I have never signed up to this company, worse experience ever! I don't have the device anymore and I am still being charged. I demanded my insurance to be cancelled and they take ages to reply to my emails, charging me every week, not wanting to cancel insurance for a device I no longer have as it was replaced! AVOID this company as they will do everything to keep their clients as thats the only way they will have anyone paying them! I will go to extreme lengths to make everyone aware not to ever use this insurance company!!!

I bought the insurance via the Revolut app and paid it for 8 months.
My phone fell from my pocket and the screen got some cracks on a corner.
I made claim and sent the invoice that was used to buy the phone. An operator came back to me saying that the invoice is no good because the IMEI of the phone is not explicitly written on it.
So I'm left with a paid insurance and no coverage.
Definitely, a company to avoid!
Later Edit: simplesurance came back to me with the same request (that I provide them with an invoice with the IMEI on it). Basically it was not a problem for them to charge my insurance for 8 months and continue to do so but it is a problem when they actually have to pay for something.
Final Edit: In the end, they agreed to fix my phone. The repair center did a very good job (they replaced the frame and the screen).

Never deal with them. Fake company. Fake positive reviews.
I lose my phone after 4 month and I 2 month try call and write them ant ask close insurance, stop charge money from account, but they keep charge. They ask me many questions and papers that approve that I lose phone. How I can prove it? I don't asked money from them and I don't ask insurance clime. Just stop charge money, but they keep charge..

Insurance is a waist of money...
I have been a customer of their device insurance via Revolut Premium for 8 months. After an unfortunate stand-up-paddle accident my (water resistant phoneX) had water damage. The claim was declined. It is exactly what you would expect from an insurance company. They try to find every possible loophole to get out of paying the claim. Very hard to trust them.

When I completed the insurance I was happy, but after that I’ve never heard anything of them. U have to inform them in 1 week if something is broken, but they never told me, also I emailed them after my claim that I’ve never heard anything of them after I send the claim, and now they finally answer and say that I did something wrong, but after 3 weeks they can’t tell me that I’ve did that but I have to email them? Pretty weird. I’m going to leave this insurance.

It was quet fast, phone was restored just perfect: front and back glases, new body and battery. Everything what was done and status of repair was possible to check online. They send dhl to pick up phone and send after repair. Only there is some problem with comunication: I have asked tham, do I need pack charger together, they send me not an answer, but more quastion.
