I order 2 monitors as they we're in stock in a store nearby. I had to wait a couple hours for them to collect it in the store and make it ready for pick-up.
Later that day I received an e-mail that informed me there was a mistake and the products were not available in the store. They re-ordered the products and it would take another 3 days to be delivered.
I specifically ordered here because I needed the goods urgently. Mediamarkt is untrustworthy.

A really good sortiment in the German shops. The online shop in Germany say it´s in stock and mean it isn´t... Sometimes it needs really long to get the things you ordered.

Ive ordered a smartphone from their website their website told me that if i order it they would be available in 2 or 3 working days so i did but 4 days later they still dont have it! even when i reached out to the support they told me they were unable to give me date i was like okay it cloud come the other day so i waited the other day there was no smartphone either so i reached out to them again and they didnt even make the efford to reach back to me !! very dissapointed

I have ordered a case for iPad from them, I’m working at a restaurant so I decided to ask them to deliver the package to my work address. They was not even trying to find me and to give it to me, they just give the package to a random person, finally I have found it, but still... why they give my package to someone else? . If the address is not a home address they should give it to me personally, not to someone a random person! The customer support can’t speak English, and I couldn’t find an email address to write the to ask why they didn’t give the package personally to me.

The online store is really convenient way to shop. I ordered a headphone with an 'pick up in MediaMarkt' option store the next day. There was also an 'pickup and pay' option, which I think is really good. The entire process is super easy and hassle free. I had some problem with my headphones and they exchanged it within few minutes. Top service!

I had a great experience with Mediamarkt. Was able to buy a new LED TV without any problem. Few of the employees speak English which was a bonus for me. I would definitely shop again with them!

Appalling online and average in-store service / Pésimo servicio online y medio en tienda.
If ever there was a case to say that many reviews could be fake, then this has to be one.
I researched the reviews on this company online before placing my order for the new €2500 Samsung QE55Q9FN UltraHD 4k TV
Even Samsung, on their own website recommended either Media Mrkt or El Corte Ingles .
I made my order online on a Friday at noon, with a collection from store within 24/48 hrs. I was hoping the next day.
Their actual delivery to store promise, is within 1-2 business days.
From that moment on it became apparent that this company have no idea how to fulfil orders via the web and/or
Their incompetence knows no bounds.
The chronological list of events:-
1. Contacted samsung.es who confirmed they could deliver Monday/Tuesday the following week, as a result of the
weekend. I wanted ideally to find a store that held stock that would be open at the weekend. Samsung confirmed
that both El Corte Ingles & Media Mrkt held stock.
2. The Media Mrkt website does not provide the ability to search if a product is in stock in a particular store. Neither
do they ever answer their direct phone numbers, any day. In this case 966 815 600 at Av. Païs Valencià, 14 03509 Finestrat Alicante
and 962 826 900 CC Pz. Mayor Gandia - Av.Blasco Ibáñez S / N 46701 Gandia, and a very long wait on their expensive
national phone line 902 100 606
They also boast ¨ Write us a direct message to our Facebook profile: facebook. com/ MediaMarkt.ES ¨
No answer on any of the above at weekends, or their online CHAT service.
3. Basically if you order on a Friday it seems you can forget any possibility of collecting the order in store, despite the store being open
Saturday and Sunday. In fact, I am still waiting for the status of my order to change online from ¨Order in preparation ¨ and it´s now Wednesday!
4. As I was unable to communicate with anyone, I decided to make the speculative journey on Saturday to the store, an 85 km round trip. Surprise , surprise, the very model was in stock !! and even more amazing at the same price. The staff would not permit me to take the TV they had in stock, that was for sale. They stated that they were unable to allow me to take this TV
from their stock, as the website orders are a completely separate system. And I would have to wait until it is/was delivered to store. Just as well I didn’t wait at the store, as it is now 5 days since I ordered and it has still not arrived.
5. Luckily, I have the resources to pay another €2500 and I purchased the TV from the store stock and returned home. The staff in the store admitted, ¨the system was crazy and that only one person covers the phone calls from customers and often it is left to just ring ¨ . Whilst at the store I thought I would ask them to cancel the online order, as clearly it was no longer necessary. So now I have to wait in the information desk queue, manned by only 2 staff and it took over 30 mins, to reach the front of the queue, only to be told. That I would have to come back to the store when the TV I ordered online arrives and then pick up the TV and then ask to cancel it !!
6. After 5 days I have ceased waiting for the cancellation of the order, despite emailing and leaving online messages multiple times for a full refund. I have simply informed my credit card company to dispute the charge!
To top it all off, the TV had a sticker placed directly on to the screen and it was covering a small scratch! This I am following up initially with Samsung!
In summation. The store is happy for you to walk out the door, without the very TV that is there for sale… and allow the client to cancel the online order and buy it elsewhere!
