Ordered from them on feb 20th. Paid extra 28 dollars for overnight shipping. Received 23 re. Wrong size. Sent back on 23rd. Got an email confirmation was returned. On march second still took 228 dollars from my account. It's now March 6. No sign of money back in my account. Nothing but run around. They say up to 14 days on returns. Not true. I will never purchase again. Went to Justin boots and ordered direct. Still waiting for my money back and they have the boots.

CRAP Customer Service....
WHY does a company say contact Customer Service IF the LAST thing they want to do, is give you, the customer, service?
You are left with the feeling that all they want to do is answer the phone, tell you want they can't do and get onto the next call asap.
They have NO intention of listening, doing what they can to help and/or to retain you as a customer.
I bought a pair of boots at 5pm, during the evening I decided to buy another pair BECAUSE I saw that if I did they would charge a flat fee of $35 for the two pairs as opposed to the $41 I had just paid for the one pair.
SO, next morning I call to ask them to add another pair to the order. (more business etc, you'd think they would be happy)
She tells me my order is planned to ship that day, I said stop it, I'll wait another day or so to get the two blah, blah.
Nope she says, they can't. Not can't, the truth is - WON'T, it would have taken too much hassle to stop it, add another pair and and and.
So instead she told me what she couldn't do and lost a customer forever....
Stupid, stupid, stupid.
You have seen the last of my money and it's not as if I wasn't already a repeat customer.... No more

I paid $83 for a dress that fell apart after the very 1st washing. I followed washing instructions to the letter and my dress is in shreds!!!! I am a professional musician and needed something nice for stage. The 1 time I wore it I got ALOT of compliments so I told everyone where it came from. Now I will tell them not to buy the rotten material piece of crap!!!!

Ordered two pairs of matching boots for my daughter's wedding. Once they arrived they did not match so I contacted CS and explained it to them. They were pleasant and sent me a return label and promised to find matching boots or contact me if they could not. Ten days later, was sent one pair and reimbursed for the other with no call explaining what they were doing to fix the problem. Called them, was told yes they have boots that match but now I have to repurchase the other pair when in fact they had not credited my account yet. Was told several times, just buy them they will match. So, again purchased the boot. Days later, two pairs of boots that again slightly off in color which I"m sure is normal but the stitching color was different on them. Called CS yet AGAIN, given the sorry, we can send you a label so you can return them yet again speech. So now, daughter's wedding is coming up, NO BOOTS and not happy with the whole situation since this has been going on for over a month.

I waited over 3 months after purchase for them to tell me that the boots I had paid for were no longer in stock. They then emailed me to inform me that I would be refunded. What a joke.. I paid $110 and they refunded me $14:95..... now the refuse to reply to me emails and every time I call it says the number is not connected.... DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY THEY JUST TAKE YOUR MONEY

I ordered some black crackled boots for my wife as a Christmas gift, they arrived on time and looked like good quality, I wish I would of read upon the reviews before ordering. not even a week later with 2 wears and the material started coming off from the front, I called customer service letting them know everything and wanting to do an exchange for a brand i was familiar with, the customer service person said they can do the exchange and charge me for the difference so I was emailed a return label.. I've been calling weekly, when I called today to check the status of my returned they told me the same boots are being sent back to me bc they are wear & tear and there's nothing they can do about it, wtf! it's been a month and NOW ur telling me I can't get an exchange or my money back, I waisted a hundred and something on these boots that are really worth probably $30, it's a rip off, poor quality, I've bought my wife cowgirl boots from Off Broadway that she has had for 2-3yrs and they still look like new, has wore them idk how many times and the material is still in tac.. do not buy from here, it's a rip off, waist of money, poor quality, they don't go by their original word

I wish I had read reviews on this company first. I ordered a pair of boots to receive an email saying they're on back order until May! I am in the process of receiving a refund and have my bank involved. Never have I come across a company who takes money when the goods are not available! Probably because its illegal. Also reading about the quality of the product on these reviews has annoyed me also

I am extremely upset about the order I have been waiting for. After several phone calls to find out where it is, they tell me it's backordered. Then they tell me, oh no it's in stock and will ship it on April 13. The NEXT DAY I get another call! They tell me this time that I WON'Tbe getting it until May that it's backordered again! it's for an April prom! What kind of crappy business are you all running, Sheplers? Not only am I going to blast you on every social media account I have, I'll tell every person I meet for weeks because I'm so angry. No wonder you went out of business in Oklahoma. If you're counting on making it go on line, think again! This whole time it says that the item is IN STOCK on your website. How else would I have ordered it? Way to go Shelpers! I should have checked the reviews. You have one and a half stars. If I could give less than one star, I would!!!!!

I ordered great looking boots for the second time. The first time they came in wrong size and didn't have what I wanted in my size so they refunded the money. I'm out shipping... eventually they got my boots in so I ordered them again... they took forever to come in, I called customer service they told me they were in Texas? I'm in Alabama eventually I got boots... wrong ones and wrong size guess what I'm out shipping again. What a waste of time should have bought local

I placed an order, I think, got email saying order was received with no order number. So when I called their customer service, they hung up on me the first time. Then told me they couldn't help me because they didnt give me an order number. The guy I talked to told me to send an email - this is the same email address Shepler's states in their order placed message not to respond to. I'm about to cancel the order through my credit card since they can't even find the order. Not sure how this place keeps the lights on.

After being told 30 days, then 60 days, then 90 days then, and only after waiting on hold for eternity, I'm told that it will be at least another 90 days, with no guarantee of receiving the order for SIX MONTHS. $650 dollar order and fed a line of crap for months and months. Continually blaiming on their supplier. Bottom line is that Sheplers is selling from an empty cart. No inventory and a pathetic business model that is based on deception derived from the unknown. I will never ever buy another thing from them. They have no interest in doing the right thing for their customers. Their model is based on just finding more suckers for customers and throwing the disgruntled and un served out with the bath water.
What do they care? They don't have to look me in the eye. Just a number in a large % of unsatisfied customers. Well, I think it's only fair that I spend the next SIX MONTHS posting legit reviews about my experience with Sheplers. If I can keep just 2 customers from failing into their trap of deceit and un satisfaction I will have succeeded.
Beware folks. Call and order DIRECTLY from their suppliers and save yourself some GRIEF.

Purchased a Twister Straw Cowboy Hat. Delivery OK , however when i opened the box and removed the hat it had a hole in the weave and the hat was a size to big. ( Size not Sheplers problem ). Obviously the quality control by Twister is out to lunch however Sheplers should never have sent it out in the first place. i take a 7 1/8" hat in a Resistol or Master Hatters and that's what I ordered in the Twister so don't buy a Twister based on their sizing or you will be very disappointed.

Make sure you read all the fine print. 2 day shipping isn't 2 day shipping. It's 2 business days from the day it shipped which means it could be 4 to six days if there is a weekend involved. Stay away would recommend them at all.

I could not be MORE disappointed in Sheplers! I placed this order as a present for some young friends of mine who admired my beaded belt. I looked for many days and finally placed the order on the 12ththe 12th of DECEMBER! Both showed in stock and to be shipped by the 18th. I found even that strange but the delivery was to be by the 23rd. You liedand now cant even get one of the belts to the kids till the 29th.
I will NEVER, EVER shop at your store either online or in personAND will do everything I CAN TO MAKE SURE THAT I CRITIQUE YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE TO ALL.
This is the worst service Ive ever endured! Never ... use them!

Ordered boots 12/11 was told online they shipped the next business day. On the 15th I received an email stating they were back ordered and not available till 1/15. I called to cancel & was told his was incorrect. I bought a replacement pair & called the next day to cancel and was told it would be. Received an email 12/19 saying too bad we can't cancel and you are being charged. I called and let them know this was not acceptable! They said they received word on the 16th that it was already on its way out and therefore they couldn't cancel so I asked for the tracking which could not be provided. They told me they would still be charging me anyway.... I have since called back several times demanding some information which NO ONE can give me

I'm always giving them a one because I am forced too should be a negative one !! I am Very skeptical about ordering online because it never fits properly so I gave it a shot and I contacted customer service first. The jeans I was looking at were $179 and I wanted three different pair. I asked the girl what the waist size and inseam was because on their website it doesn't show that . Shows the waist size but no inseam length. She told me that they are all 34 inch inseam and that most had to be hemmed which was fine with me . I told her if they were not the correct inseam length and I would have to return them because I normally wear long length. She assured me that it would be accurate and if I had any problems they would give me a complete and full refund. I received the jeans and of course they were 29-30 and were completely wrong. I was furious and I contacted customer service and immediately. She told me to go ahead and return them and they would issue a full refund . Finally after having to call twice and ask about my refund they put it back in which was a month and a half later and they shorted me $10 . Avoid this company like the plague they are crooked and very misleading!!!! I do appreciate being lied to not once but several times over.

The number of bad reviews is so revealing and true. I wish I read them prior to ordering from them. Who is running this company and why do they still have a job? Have they ever put themselves in the customer's shoes and actually placed an order? Why not?They might learn something. Have they ever read these reviews? Why not? They might learn something. Have they ever waited on hold for over 20 min calling their own company? Why not? They might learn something. Have they ever tried to return something and wondered why there's no return labels included? Why not? They might learn something. I actually think they have good capable employees, but very poor management. I'll spare you my sob story, just be advised to order elsewhere.

Ordered a pair of twisted x driving boots, it was advertised all over that I was to get free shipping, nowhere along the way did it say otherwise. It just kept popping up saying your elgilable for free shipping so when the final page came up it still said free shipping. Well I got the boots 3+ weeks later. Get the mastercard bill. 42.00 shipping!!! So I wrote about 6 emails absolutely no response to any one called and waited for an hour each time. Well I finally just got through and the lady was soooo rude coughing into the phone, I'm sure she was rolling her eyes because her tone was brutal then she denied everything I said and cut me off saying NONONO that's wrong. And I was like ok? She's like bye have a good day.
I will NEVER!!! ORDER HERE AGAIN, the boots were great but you better hope you don't actually have to deal with anyone!

I ordered a pair of $400 boots for my husband the being of December for a Christmas present. The week before Christmas I contacted them to find out the status of my boots. I was informed that they were on back order till April. So I told them to cancel the order. I was told they could not. They said they would put in a request and someone would let me know if I could cancel. I called 3 times over the next month to find out the status. Each time I requested someone call me to discuss the cancellation of my order. Each time I was told someone would contact me. Finally the end of January I received an email stating the boots were no longer available. So no emails saying I wouldn't get it for Christmas, no returning of my calls and no cancellation of my order. So only when the boots were no longer available did I get an email. What a horrible company. Say away!!!

I grew up shopping at Sheplers. They use to be our local store in TEXAS . A few months after I purchased my boots they sold out locally to Boot Barn. I bought a very $$$$$$ pair of boots .....OLD GRINGO from them ........ worn 2 times and with a scratch on the to ... not the quality. After quite of a run around from customer service so disappointed. Looked on other websites I could have bought these boots CHEAPER and I am sure better customer service. Supposedly they are doing way better with their online sells that is why they closed down their stores here in TX.. Wont buy from them ever again.

I ordered Justin Hybred Waterproof Pull-On Work Boots, Item # 050E27. They are not the same as the picture, the toes are much more square looking than the pic, when I got water on them, my socks got wet, the size 11 is more like a size 12. They take advantage of online buyers to unload their seconds.

I purchased boots online from Australia on 5 feb 2017. I received an email saying I would be notified when dispatched. Received nothing had to contact them. I was then told the boots were on back order and would be delivered on the 7 march. Received nothing. Several days after the date I received another email saying delivery was 5 April. I emailed cancelling my order asked for a refund and confirmation when this was done. I received nothing. Just called and was put on hold for five minutes before I hung up (international call). Without a doubt the worst customer service ever. I'd they didn't have them in stock they shouldn't let you order.

I ordered a jacket and found it to be to large. I returned the jacket requesting a smaller size in accordance with their return policy. It's been several weeks and despite 3 phone calls and 1 email they can't provide a current status of the jacket exchange. I've talked to three different customer service representatives who had no clue as to the status but all three told me I would probably hear from them next Tuesday. That was three consecutive Tusdays ago. I hope someday to get the jacket and will never purchase another product from Sheplers. They need to send a Sheplers executive to LL Bean for training on how to deal with customer returns.
