I ordered boots on the 4th that were supposed to ship out the next day. Today is the 20th and the order hasn't shipped. No one corresponded with me at all until I asked for help, after which they initiated a trace which I'm waiting 7-10 days to learn the results of. Meanwhile they have my $200 and I have a ticket to hurry up and wait. Reviews on their site (which I can't seem to find a way to post on) are overwhelmingly positive and, based on what we see here, undoubtedly curated to their liking. Will be looking at Tecovas in the future.

I placed an order for a pair of boots around 7pm on 9/25. After placing the order I found I different pair I liked and tried canceling it online but i could not find anywhere on the website that would let me cancel the order. I called them as soon as they opened the next morning to try and cancel the order and they said I couldn't because it was in the process of shipping. I asked when it was supposed to ship and she said on Monday. I again asked why I couldn't cancel since I had just place the order the night before and the lady did not have an answer. I again tried calling in Monday to cancel and they refused and said it was still in process of shipping. I will never buy another pair of boots from Shepherd again.

I had order items from Shepler. It didn't indicate that it couldn't deliver to a Box number. They took my funds and sent off with DHL. They didn't provide DHL with my contact information and when DHl asked if they could get that information or return to Shepler to refund me, Shepler notified them to destroy package. However Shepler kept my money! I've emailed twice and only received unempathetic emails that refuse to make this situation correct.

I ordered a pair of riding boots and after two weeks had passed and still had not received them I decided to track the order and to my surprise the order had been canceled by Sheplers! No one notified me. I then sent an email asking about it, no answer. Sent another email requesting my money back and again no response. Took a screenshot of my credit card statement showing the charge and again requested a refund. I have gotten NOTHING! I always do business with Boot Barn and just thought hey, I'll give Sheplers a try. Never again!

I purchased a Panhandle western shirt from Sheplers and put it in the washer with other clothes and the dye in the shirt made all other clothes orange. Dont purchase any Panhandle slim products. Very unhappy, especially the wife

Order a hat from them that arrived today crushed and had a tag on it for 10 dollars less that what they charged me. Customer service was no help. Sent it back and will never use site again!!!

I don't know what these low ratings are about. I just ordered a pair of Carhartt work boos from them and they were sent promptly and correct everything. I also ordered from them previously a oil skinned jacket, didn't like it and they gave me a hassle free return. Sheplers is a very good company and I highly recommend them.

What horse crap!. Sent to my old address even though I changed address on line. Account reverted back to old address and wouldn't let me change again. People who received the package immediately sent it back.
Sheplers then gave me a $51 dollar refund on an order that cost me $84. So I guess they get a quick profit for being incompetent.

Defective boot I had three pairs of the same boot size 10d Chippewa i dont know what they sold me but clearly the left boot doesnt fit its rubbing on my toes and now they say o well inspect their bull$#*! artist scumbags!

Wish I had read this site first. They had decent reviews on another site I checked before ordering. I ordered boots and a dress. The boots, Ariats, arrived USED!! The bottoms had dirt on them, there was pet hair inside, and tons of scratches on the toes!! The dress has strings hanging off it in several spots. The tag on the dress is a Boot Barn tag and lists a lower price than Sheplers website did. Very disappointed! I called CS and the operator said, "I don't know what they do back in the warehouse"

Ordered 1 st pair of boots 12/4/2019 after the first week I didn't receive emails confirmation and the money was not taken out of my account. I Made a second order 12/12/2019 and the following day I checked my bank account and the money from the first order was taken. I called "ol shep" 12/13/2019 and asked to cancel my second order. The woman said yes that it would not be a problem. On 12/13/2019 I called again and they said the order was cancelled. On 12/15/2019 I checked my bank account and the money was on hold in my account. I called them back the 15th and explained that the other 2 times I called that they said my order was cancelled, she said that they shouldn't have said that. She proceeded to ask me for my banks fax number so she could stop the hold on my money. 2 days later they took the money back out of my account and said the boots were shipped. I called them back on 12/20/2019 and gave them a peice of my mind. She said she could give me a free return label WTF?? I sent the boots back and the tracking says they received them 12/30/2019. I called back 1/3/2020 and she said that they haven't been checked in yet and I won't receive my refund for 5 to 10 business days...
WARNING Don't do business with Sheplers.......I had to give one star to be able to submit my review, but they didn't deserve it.

Sheplers website showed that my order had been delivered, when in fact it hadn't been. I attempted to contact the company to try to get the product that I paid for sent to me. I sent 5 emails that all went unanswered. Every time I call customer service, I get "disconnected" as soon as I ask for an actual person to talk to. The automated system is also not an option considering it told me it had no record of my order at all.
I will NEVER do business with them again, which is quite a shame considering they used to be my favorite to order from since I was a little girl. I'll be using Amazon from here on out.

I stumbled on a gold mine when found Sheplers looking for something else, I made the mistake of looking and I fell in love.I purchased cripplecreek beaded Fringe suede wrap skirt ,I viewed all comments and quickly placed my order. I Recieved my skirt today 12/30/19,gorgeous high quality well made beautifully designed. Best of all It fits like It was tailor made for me. I love this company and clothes so much I ordered the turquoise Military Fringe Jacket.Best on line purchase I have ever made.

Ordered a leather vest for Christmas on 11/25/2019 which never arrived. When I called to follow up I was told that there was a glitch between the Paypal and Sheplers platforms and the order was never shipped. I was never notified. I placed a 2nd order using my credit card and again the vest never arrived. This time when I called I was told the item is not in stock. Again I was never notified. Unfortunately, Sheplers is unreliable. Would love to be able to order many of their items but what's the point if they are never shipped.

1st, This company has no sense of its self.
2nd, They don't honor overnight shipping when you pay for it.
3rd, If you shop on line and the item's are listed as in stock, don't be surprised when receiving your confirmation that most the items are not.
4th, UPS and Sheplers don't know how to track the packages nor provide accurate dates.
5th, They are quick to take your money and it takes up to 5 or 8 business days to get a refund.
6th, Customer service does not exist, do not expect to be heard or receive a resolution you the issue they created.
7th, They are open Black Friday but don't count it as a business day which is odd.

Trying to return two pants that I did not order from Sheplers. I got a return authorization to return the pants and they received the pants back at there warehouse.... then they credit my account for only one pair of pants. I sent a email to customer service and did not get a reply. I called there customer service phone number and there phone system was out of order (for the entire day ) when I called and finally got a hold of them on the phone two days later. They had no record of my return. They told me they would call me back!

First, my credit card wouldn't go through, call CC #, they sad it was "potentially fraudulent." Then I ordered four shirts. Get a CC charge for $883, call, they say they will look into it. Call me the next day "Good News, my supervision says we can refund you $606." Like they are doing me a favor for refunding the overcharge. And the number still isn't right.
Then I get confirmation email with no tracking.
Then I get one shirt and an email saying all four were delivered.
Another phone call, opps, here's another tracking number.
Finally the last three delivered.
They SUCK.

I ordered two shirts, one shirt was $65 and the other was $30, (no confirming email response for my purchase) and when they arrived (no order receipt) the $30 shirt was incorrect and not the one I ordered. It took three more phone calls to finally get this straightened out and asked them to mail me a return shipping label, (I don't have a printer) they told me,no problem. In about two weeks I received the label, shipped the incorrect $20 shirt back for a credit. When I received my statement they gave me a credit for $19.95 for a $30 shirt. When I questioned them about the $10.05 shortfall they told me it was to cover the cost for the return shipping label,ridiculous!

First, prices are stupid compared to Amazon. Second, they mis-calculated my sales' tax. I contacted them within 5-mins and they said "Too bad, $10 restocking charge." There is no reason to shop at this company - go elsewhere.

I ordered a pair of work shoes that were said to be "in stock" and decided to pay for 2 day shipping as I needed them ASAP. This was August 1st. 4 days later, nothing. Waited a week and still nothing and got told they had to come from the manufacturer, therefore not "in stock" right? So they said it'd be a few more days and even then, the 2 day shipping wouldn't start until Sheplers received them from the manufacturer. Another week, still nothing and now back ordered and not expected until the 15th. 16th rolls around and still nothing so I call again. Now it's not expected until the 19th. I promptly cancel my order and will take my business elsewhere. The shoe is STILL labeled as "in stock" on their website.
