Ordered a few items and spend $100 around Nov 27 and supposed to get it by Dec 7. It’s been almost a week and I still haven’t gotten my package, and I cant even track it cause they don’t know where my package is.

I've been a Sephora VIB or Rouge member for many years, and the rewards program is just ok. Ulta definitely has a better program (2000 points for $125 off anytime you want!). I've slowly switched to shopping at Ulta more unless they don't sell specific brands I need.
Sephora Rouge have to wait for Rouge Rewards (2500 points for $100 off), which only pop up at 9 AM PST Tues and Thurs. They only have a limited quantity too. Kind of frustrating that Rouge cannot easily redeem rewards like you can at Ulta. Plus it is way harder to build points at Sephora (Ulta has one 10x points day each year and wayyy more free gifts with purchase too!)
Sephora, please improve your rewards program! Anyone who spends so much at your store should be able to redeem their hard-earned points without so much hassle.
For other aspects, I like paying $15 each year (but used to be $10!) for flash 2 day shipping and receiving online orders fast.
And I've never had problems returning items that don't work out, even if it's for store credit. So I appreciate the great return policy!

I've been contacting Sephora customer service for months trying to request them not to use FleetOptics as this carrier is driving me crazy. Nobody listened. All they have told me is that it is my own problem and it is their right to use whatever carrier they want, even if the customer is suffering. See the screenshot of their response, the tone and the attitude - "If you're not happy with the carrier, solve it yourself and good luck."

This review is only for my recent experience at Sephora. I moved out of the US a year ago and I always had great experience shopping both in store and online - the only thing I would compain about from before is how utterly wasteful their policies are. Very often I would be indecisive about a product and the rep would say "just buy it! you can always return if you don't like it :)". I do like a good return policy and I experienced no issues while returning them if I didn't end up liking the product, but the amount of times I was advised to do this by reps is indicative of a highly wasteful company culture.
Anyway, my recent experience involves an order I placed during their most recent Rouge sale. I placed my order and then I received an email saying it had been canceled. I immediately reached out to customer service, both through email and on their chat. The email flat out ignored me. The chat kept transfering me to other agents whom I had to re-explain the situation to. It wasn't until one week of trying later when I got an agent who was actually helpful and re-placed my order for me with the discount. I shouldn't have to beg you to shop from you. The only reason I still placed the order was because I'd spent time researching my purchase and because of the sale prices. Otherwise, I'm not sure I'll be buying from Sephora again despite five years of maintaining a Rouge status, which is their highest customer loyalty tier.

I placed an order online and forgot I had an old address on my account. It didn't ask if it was where I wanted to send it or change it. When I got my email I noticed the old address for the delivery destination. I immediately contacted their customer service to see what my options were. The order had not been processed yet but he still said he couldn't change the address he could only cancel the order. I asked how it would work on the refund seeing as I used a $100 redemption code and he said it would be credited to my account withing 24hrs. 2 days later I call to see why it hasn't been credited to my account. This rep tells me that I've lost the promotion by cancelling the order and there is nothing he can do. Moral of the story don't trust Sephora apparently they're perfectly fine lying and stealing from you.

I love the Sephora Studio Hoboken, NJ location! I'm a frequent shopper there and all of the girls there are super helpful, especially Jessica! It's still a pandemic and they have really been abiding by all regulations needed to keep us all safe. I really appreciate all of their help and genuinely have a great time shopping and talking with the whole staff.

My package got a stolen package, and I claimed a refund for the first time In three years.When I moved and I chkeged address in sephore but for some reason they sent me on my old Adress where I don't live in different state, and when I emailed them and said that I Didnt order on the Adress and it's tour mistake guys they declined to sent me another package on correct Adress.They said I had too much claims in past (only 1 for tree years).I decided to use Ulta since Sephora lost my trust,I asked to return my “Flash” delivery for months what I won’t use , it’s 100$ year, they said it’s not refoundable.Very Disappointed ,if there insurance think 2 packets for 3 years it’s too much, they should not leave Packages near the door.I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO OREDER ONLINE FOR. SEPHORA!!!

I have shopped at Sephora for many years and for the past several years, have reached their $1000 minimum spend to become a Rouge member. I received the annual Holiday Savings Event coupon and I was listed as a VIB member, not Rouge, therefore getting a 15% discount instead of the Rouge 20% discount. I called and spoke to a customer service representative, who proceeded to tell me that for this discount, you aren't considered "Rouge" unless you have spent $1000 in the first 9 months of this calendar year rather than the stated annual 12 month spend amount. It does not state this policy anywhere on the coupon or their website that I can find. This makes no sense. Your current status appears in your account. I perceive this as an unscrupulous business practice and a way to "cheat" loyal members out of the discount to which they are entitled.

I have ordered something that I could use code for it to get more points and the code did not go through and I did live chat with them and asked if they can put the code through so I get the points which I ordered about 15 minutes ago and she refused to do this little thing! Like I don’t understand them I have been buying from them for about 4 years now and since now the stores are closed I wanted to buy online but I just regret choosing Sephora! There is a lot better stores or online shopping websites that they do anything to make customers happy with their purchase. I will not recommend Sephora at all 👎🏼 Very disappointing...

I’ve ordered from Sephora for years, and never had any issues. Quick shipping and good products.
This time I received my order with 2 of the products torn open and a concealer missing from one of the boxes. I contacted customer service on chat and the session froze both times before getting the issue resolved. I figured I’d have trouble getting them replaced, but received an email almost immediately stating that my replacement order (free of charge and with extra samples) was already being processed. Great to find a company with good customer service, even online!

I simply loved my first experience in Sephora Canada at Bayshore Mall. It’s all because of the sales lady named ‘Samantha’ short ‘Sam’ who assisted me in the perfume section. She made my shopping experience really pleasant and fulfilling. I ended up buying way more than I budget as I enjoyed her authenticity and positive welcoming attitude. I have always loved Sephora in Dubai and here in Canada I think I’ll love it more. Thanks Sam! Keep up the good work!

I've been shopping at Sephora for years, I am a "Rouge" member. Yesterday, I contacted them about an order where I received the wrong item. It was nothing huge, literally a $14 purchase, but it was wrong nonetheless. First they told me to just go to a store and exchange it, but I pointed out that they do not even carry 'The Ordinary" line in store. Not to mention there's a pandemic going on right now and I do not wish to go to the mall...hence why I ordered online anyways.
I was told that they could not send me a replacement item because they have "accommodated me in the past" for replacing an order. I imagine what they are referring to is when last year they sent me SOMEONE ELSES order. It didn't even have my name on it. But somehow that is MY fault? They are the ones who have messed up the orders and they wont correct their own mistake because they have messed up and send me an incorrect order in the past? And sending me MY order was "accommodating me"?? SO confusing, I've never heard of worse business practices and the rude people I've encountered through their chat and phone service is insane.

Shopped many years at Sephora retail store, and this is my go to place to purchase products like Sunday Riley, Dior, Clarins, Armani, La Mer and more.
I recently switched to ordering online. Overall experiences were good but my shipment got delayed and arrived one week after placing the order. Perhaps because of the weather or wild fire spreading? Anyway, I am a loyal customer here and often has wonderful experiences shopping in their physical stores. If they keep up a great service and product selection, I will maintain my five star reviews for them.
Good surprise that they start accepting the Insider points as credit. Awesome!

I had an item missing from my Sephora order. Reported to Sephora with 21 emails back and forth and they refuse to refund or replace. Be very careful when ordering. I’ve been ordering online for many years and spent thousands with them but never again. Their customer service is shocking and there’s definitely something dodgy happening at their warehouse. The person I spoke to was adamant that all my items where packaged and delivered to me when clearly they weren’t. So basically told me to get lost and nothing will be done to fix the issue. Very convenient for them since the serum cost $205!! I kept telling them to compare the weight of all the items I ordered against the package weight throughout the emails but kept getting ignored until the last emails I just received saying that they ‘checked the weight of the parcel vs the number of items inside’ (That doesn’t prove everything in my order was packed it just shows that whatever items are inside equal the package weight). so apparently to Sephora they delivered everything yet I’m missing an item. Who am I going to believe I wonder... what I’ve actually seen with my own eyes or their employee.

I am sorry people have had a bad time with Sephora. I buy EVERYTHING on line and often return to the store. No hassles, no questions asked. One time a shipment did not show up and they replaced the whole thing at no cost to me. Their production selection is out of this world and if you pay the $15 a year "free shipping" subscription it pays for itself in 3 purchases or be a Rouge Member, free shipping there. Awesome perks with points and again the products are outstanding. Website offers plenty of answers and helpful advice. I hope my luck continues with them as there are so many bad reviews on customer service. I highly recommend.

My experience with this company has been horrible and the rude customer service rep. I was never given a credit and now the company wants to change me for the credit. My bank account was charged and also they owe me an outstanding amount.
