Have a unit that was less than 7 month old when we started having issues Had a service out 3 different times trying to troubleshoot with direction from company . Finally decided that the compressor is bad and now they want to charge us $800 to get a part that should be warranted and have already spent hundreds chasing the problem. Now the sales department won't even return calls. The units look great but if you have issues be ready to throw it away and buy a new one. Terrible Tech Service and Customer Support !!!

Very happy with my purchase. I had several issues (because I'm not an AC expert) and the support from Senville was awesome. Mike would always get back to me within hours and help me resolve the issues I was having. He knows his stuff! So far my multizone is working great and blowing icy cold. Great product for less than half the price of other units and works just as good or better. The next one of my other units (I have 2 others) that goes out in my house is going to be replaced with one of these.

I purchased four Senville Leto 12000btu packages for my home and I installed myself following installation instructions to the "T" without any issues.
Units run perfectly, cool my home down and keep it cool. Heck, I'm afraid if I turn the temp down too low I might freeze everything inside the house! The air handlers are super quiet and the compressors are so quiet that I have to get right in front of them to see if they are actually running!
I am disabled and cannot speak due to multiple surgeries for oral cancer so I was concerned about scheduling delivery with FEDEX. As I was installing DIY I wanted to be sure I had everything I needed.
One quick email to Senville and I was contacted back immediately by Austin at SoGoodToBuy. He was exceptional!! He assisted settings up my deliveries with FedEx, answered any questions I had about installation and a few other questions I had and actually followed up with me several to make sure that my purchases were running smoothly.
My hats off to Austin and Senville for a great product and even greater customer support.
I definitely recommend Senville and SoGoodToBuy if you are looking for a excellent, energy saving way to cool and heat your home.

Senville is a great company to deal with. Have a three head 27,000 btu unit and two single 9,000 btu units. Try to buy direct from Senville if possible. Had a few issues with the 27,000 btu unit and they were very helpful in dealing with the issues. I fully recommend them.

The price and delivery times were excellent. The customer support was poor. I called at least 6 times to ask for an installation guide on the ground stand and was told a number of times it would be emailed to me. I never received it and had to try and guess how it went together. Most calls went without a return call or a message to call back. Overall, the directions in general could have been more clear. Also, the line set connections on the back of the handlers were cut uneven but the line set coils provided in the kit were not. This made it impossible to use the factory connections on the line sets. One side had to be cut in order to properly fit them behind the handler. Not a big deal but it would have been much easier to complete the install.

The tech came to troubleshoot, and suspected the P4 code was caused by the board, but your tech rep insisted on sending a compressor. This cost me an extra bill from the ac technician. Then that didn’t fix it, so I had to wait for the board, and have the tech back again for a 3rd time. It cost me $800 for the 3 service calls, and took over a months to resolve.

Fast delivery. Unit was 12000 btu, outside condenser stand and lineset cover. Did not come with wiring harness as was stated by personnel when unit was ordered. Wired unit myself which cost $67.87. Called factory and unit should had been shipped with wiring harness. This is why 4 stars and not 5 stars. Unit was an easy install 3 1/2 hours and 45 minutes to make wiring harness.
One problem for DIYers is warranty. Senville wants HVAC License number for warranty. I would challenge Senville if their personnell tell if a licensed tech installed my unit or a DIY Certificate of Warranty paper is too slick to use as TP. Ad for unit was for DIYers.
Unit is quiet and cools very well so far. Plan to purchase 18,000 btu unit.

Ok here goes, i ordered a 27,000 mini split unit June 12, 2018. When unit arrived I had it installed by a licensed Hvac tech. Outside unit did not work at all. Possibly a bad compressor. Paid the tech for the install and waited to hear back from sogoodtobuy. After a little back and forth they agreed to send me a replacement outdoor unit. Hvac tech came back and switched it out. Paid the tech again. Now maybe ten months later its not working again. Started with p4 error now p0 error. Tech was back again today and i called senville. Not very helpful. Basically said they sent me an email and to have the tech review it. I said thats all you can do for me? He answered a few more questions but didnt offer much. Im at a loss as to how to proceed. All three indoor units are installed, lines run and charged. Go to the Senville website and cant even find the warranty guidelines. Doubt I will ever purchase another Senville product at this point. Hopefully they make good on their product and will change my mind. UPDATE: Senville has been very helpful today. Spoke to MIke in tech support. He thinks he knows what the issue is and is sending me the parts needed to fix the unit. Ill report further after my HVAC tech installs the replacement parts.

I recently purchased more than five different energy star units (9,000, 12,000 and 18,000 BTU type units) for a triplex I am renovating for the first time. Frank at Senville, was excellent in taking the time to explain to me the models, changing and explaining the submission and taking more than a few follow-up calls/questions NO problem. Then, on installation day today, the entrepreneur installing the Senville tubing asked where the A/C units were and I was shocked thinking on his second visit he was to install them. In any case, I called Frank to see if a miracle could happen to get my units on a truck the same day. Frank told me he could make some calls and returned to say a delivery hero named Vol could make it happen. Unsurprisingly, Vol was just as smiley and kind as Frank and delivered a miracle by 2pm!!! We were able to install and stay on project schedule!!! Senville for life. Kind heroes keeping us cool :)

Purchased this Senville unit to condition my new shop.
Mini split arrived on time and undamaged. I then approached my HVAC tech for installation and he declined stating that he didn't want to install a system he didn't supply.
I then decided to install myself however I don't recommend this task for someone not well versed in mechanical aptitude
I am a Commercial Electrician and not a stranger to this type of work..
Installation went well until initial startup... unit stared up then shut down and started throwing error codes.
I called tech support and spoke with Sam H.I explained my issue and knew right away what the problem was... it seems the documentation supplied from the manufacturer has some incorrect information regarding startup procedure.
Sam informed me what the documentation left out and I was up and running quickly..
The system seems well built and so far performs as expected.
Sam H. was very knowledgeable and professional and really appreciated his help

Helpful, very fast delivery in 3 days. Minisplit unit is so quiet when on low it can barely be heard. Installer said it was the quietest he has installed. Cooled a large room quickly.

I had self inflicted problem. The technical service department helped diagnose the issue and made sure I received the correct parts They were attentive and did not try and upsale me. I will be adding another unit next year and it will definitely be a Senville

The Senville split A/C system seems to work OK but Customer Support is horrible. I left 2 messages 800.242.4935 to ask a simple, quick question but was met with no avail. On the 3rd attempt I was on hold for 41 minutes and the was transferred to 'shipping'. After another 14 minutes I hung up. With a cheaper cost comes a sorry customer support. Beware

I bought my Senville Aura about 5 Maine winters ago. It came from some place in Florida and was delivered to my door by trucking company undamaged. I think I paid $2,600 for it. My house is just 675 square feet but I still bought a huge unit for overkill reasons, I guess because the splits were new to me?? My unit I think is 32,000 btu's. It was the biggest they made I think at that time. Anyway, this Senville unit has flat out kicked a*s both in the Maine winters and summers. My only problem is the digital readout in the front but I can order one for under 30 bucks. Wish I had a service manual for it.
