1. Automatically gives you access to the beta marketing program which lacks basic functionality found in every other email vendor (send a test email! review to see what your url clicks were! etc.)
2. Stealth "upgraded" my account to a plan more than 3 times as expensive and instantly tried to bill without any consent or review
3. Then prohibited account login and was told terms were violated--"we can't tell you anything further". So they essentially will take your money and cancel your account at their whim.

I created an account and payed on August 26th, tried to upload my lists, it was impossible because the service was down, I was not able to access the account on 27th and asked customer support, on 28th they tell they closed the account for violation of service terms."Our system does not provide myself or other members of Support with details regarding decisions made by our compliance team"

Don't use this company, they are a complete joke. You will regret every pennt you spend with them. Filter and read all the negatives on this page and then use a different company for your email needs. Trust me.

Terrible, you cannot even call them to help all their support is through messaging and email. It does not make any sense

SendGrid is the worst email provider. They suspended my account without refunding me and without letting me know what is the rules I am being violating.

One of the best in the emailing market. I’ve tried like 10 different services. I don’t wanna give the name of the other services but sendgrid had the most advantage. Other services had high prices or sketchy websites. I’ll stick with sendgrid. But their pricing is ridiculous because they don’t say how much they are gonna charge you. They won’t upgrade your plan so you might end up with paying 10 times of your plan if you exceed the limit!

The Contact and Support systems are inefficient and incoherent, they did not solve our issue and did not even explain what it was in the first place. They blocked our account with for no reason, and no previous warning. We sent two campaigns and after the free trial, we were going to hire the system, however, they didn't even give us the chance. The Support team only told us we somehow broke the Terms & Conditions, but they did not have the reason, and told us to leave the platform. We had several damage since we do not know the conditions of our campaigns and our clients can not contact with us.

A lot has been said about Sendgrid's technical abilities, and I don't think I would add anything meaningful to that. If you have an email task, Sendgrid got you covered.
As a consultant, I see Sendgrid used in different settings and use cases, from a simple deliverability pipeline to a complex bi-directional integration e-commerce solution. Each time I have an email job to do, I'm confident that I'll either find the required answers in their documentation or the support team will sort me out.
One last bit of email advice, don't be stingy and use dedicated IP for more control over your deliverability. Sendgrid offers that feature, and it saved my clients and me a few times.

Can't really say if the platform works well. We were testing it for one day, we got the Sendgrid IP address black listed and emails were reported as spam, support said it was because we were on a free plan and using a shared IP address but problems would be solved moving to a payed plan. Bottom line we didn't even had time to test it and they asked to pay. We moved to Mailjet and everything fine so far.

We have integrated sendgrid API. They provide us with good email deliverability which is a key factor for us. The stats about the email campaigns they send are near accurate and we can trust them. We also use an alternate service provider just to make sure that emails blocked by sendgrid are delivered through that provider.
Sendgrid also provides us with interesting articles via their insiders program. I found that insightful and engaging. We can get opinions from experts in the area there.
If you are planning to reach out to recipients who have opted in to receive emails, then sendgrid works best. If you are planning to send marketing emails to anyone who didn't subscribe with you chose another email service provider.

I have been a paying corporate customer of Sendgrid for 7 years and am very frustrated at the inability to talk to a human being about my account in the UK. So last week I went to their London offices and waited for 3 1/2 hours in the lobby to see a Sendgrid representative. Nothing aside from a very apologetic member of the front desk staff.i have mailed their CEO and their US office nothing ....I run a B2C business and if we treated our customers like that we would have very few customers....

Sendgrid is an Easy to Use Email Marketing Software.
The service is safe and legit, but pay attention that can be used by users for spam or frauds - so be suspicious and check who is the sender.

Been using SendGrid for about 3 years now for Skreem. They have a very good documentation and their support system is amazing. The integration hardly took us 30 min to start sending out emails.
They have been constantly upgrading the product and introducing new features to help our business.

Easy to use and great prices. Sometimes I find the menu and sections confusing. Some concepts I did not understand is not well explained.

The platform and interface is very buggy depending on what browser you use. it is also pretty complicated so be prepared to be very very computer savvy. Beyond that the tools used to maintain your database of emails is extremely poor and their customer service is terrible. They will not answer your questions directly continually refer you to they're useless knowledge base... And that's assuming they just don't ignore you. It's impossible to speak to a human to resolve an issue after 2 months of trying I eventually just quit. Save yourself the time the stress.

I have used a fair few email platforms in my years as a online comms professional.
I have yet to use a platform with better interface and functionality and can't recommend SendGrid highly enough.
If you need to use a mailing platform do yourself a favour and use this one, you won't regret it.

Sendgrid is by far the best emailing tool on the market. You can see open rates and bounce rate on their dashboars which is extremely convenient

We have used SendGrid for 4 years now. SendGrid is integrated with our lead management system. Which means most of the emails we send are transactional. The API’s are easy to use, and we have not had any issues with delivery. My company is small so SendGrid fits our business model in cost and basic SMTP services. I would and have recommended SendGrid as a cost effective way of handling transactional emails.

Great services and customer service.
The APIs are great, and we're looking to transfer our general marketing campaigns over.
I've had to contact customer service probably around 5 times over the years, and it's always been a very positive experience.

I tested Sendgrid with a free account today but the few messages I tried to send were all returned as undeliverable because Sendgrid's IPs are blocked by Microsoft - Outlook/Hotmail etc.
So it's useless as half the world uses Microsoft or Gmail.
