I have used selltornics in 5/7/2017 and sold my Galaxy S7 32GB and had no problems. On the 30/04/2018 I recycled 2 items a Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 LTE and a I phone 5s. yet the actual trading platform ownership has changed to a company called Technology Recycle Group based in High Wycombe, post code HP11 2QW and Company no. 07834275.
I have had an £0 offer for my Samsung tablet worth £129.99 on music magpie, along with £40 for my I phone 5s worth £100 on music magpie. After 11 E mail Alongside two weeks of calls to the number on the selltonics website and TRG's number which is a information voicemail.
I called Trading Standards and have logged a official complaint I URGE ALL PEOPLE WHO HAVE BEEN ROBBED TO CALL TRADING STANDARDS ON 03454040506 Consumer RIGHT. No resolution still.

warning to all do not use this company they are awful and if anything are committing fraud! I sent 3 iPods in March. after numerous times of trying to get an update they finally responded of which they said they just received the items which is a lie as I had proof they had been delivered 3 weeks prior! They only got in touch due to me complaining! They then said my ipods where not as specified which is a lie, they then quoted 25 less then originally offered! After 2 days it automatically went through as accepted! I have now been waiting nearly another month for my payment they are a joke! You have no way of contacting this team and when you try and email they do not respond at all!

Sent my iPhone 6 Plus 128Gb back to them for recycle, since the day I have had it the phone has been in a protective case with a glass screen protector on and was in pristine condition.
I was told I would get £220.20 for recycle value which was £10 more than the normal REPUTABLE company I always use so I thought lets give it a go. They received the phone and did their tests and came back with an offer of £190 as the casing was scuffed and the battery life was poor. To do this has showed their true colours as there was NO SCUFFS on it when it left me and the battery would last 2 days easily when I used it for business and personal.
If you want to get the best price for your phone and don't want to get ripped off take my advice....
****DO NOT USE SELLTRONICS****

Do not use this site, they offer you a good price and once they receive your device in the condition that you say it’s in and they don’t respond for 4 days and then give you nothing of what you were quoted, and then when you want them to return the device back to you for free like they first state, they charge £5 for return of that device, unbelievable

My wife is on floods of tears because she's been told by Selltronics they will only give her £10 for her iPhone 6 Plus instead of over £180 because it apparently is water damaged. Now, that may be so but on their website it merely asks if the device is broken which she clearly answered yes to. So now she has the privilege of paying £5 to get her phone back or taking a paltry sum from them when even water damaged phones on eBay sell in excess of at least £50 for parts. Now, I hear you already when you say, ah what about the Terms & Conditions which if you read the fine print says they don't accept water damaged items? Well, true but it also says they pretty much don't take broken phones at all so why allow an option for people to sell broken phones at all or when you do, make sure you spell out clearly you only take x amount for certain conditions at the point of sale? It's legal I guess but rather underhanded if you ask me. They should rename themselves We Buy Any Phone (But For Very Little)

They removed previous poor review as no order number. Hopefully this one will stay so you can see what a pile of **** this company is.
Absolutely awful company. Sent phone as damaged (small crack in screen) and accepted offer on that basis only to wait two weeks to be told that it couldn't be honoured and I needed to pay £5 to get the phone back. Avoid

Easy as pie. Had an iPhone 7 I dropped and smashed the screen. Upgraded so sold my old phone to Selltronics.
I sent via special recorded delivery at cost of around £7.50 with insurance just to make sure it arrived ok. Arrived the next day and I received full payment the same day! Couldn't have been easier. No price changes I was paid what was
advertised for a broken iPhone 7. Also was one of the best prices around at the time for this sort of trade in. Plus most importantly it was the only site offering top dollar that actually had a secure site to enter your bank details in!!
Would definitely use again.

Given a quote for £144.
Sent my phone in and like many other reviews here, had my phone reduced to £20 with no reason given. I contacted them and they changed the status to "LCD Burn Beyond Economical Repair".
My phone was 100% working with no screen damage or scratches. I had to pay £5 to get it returned and when it came back it had chips on the side of it.
Sent the same phone to 3 when I got it back and got £100 for it.
If this LCD burn is so bad, why have many other reviewers on here been able to then sell on their phones to perfectly reputable companies with no issues.
Shouldn't we be warned about this on the site and be able to test for this before we send off the phone?
Frankly I think they are just making it up and hoping 90% of people will take the £20 and live with it.

I am always sceptical of sites like this but I was pleasantly surprised! They dropped the price by a few quid on one of the phones I sold but it was still a very fair one. Everything was very quick and easy.

Requested phone to be returned and had to pay £5 for the priveledge. It is in the terms and conditions in small peint so be aware.
Paid this and they returned my phone in a plane box and NOT the original Samsung Galaxy Edge S6 box I sent it in.

Very impressed! The day after I emailed what I had to sell the package arrived for me to send my phone to them. The following day they acknowledged receipt, stated progress and then confirmed payment. Then one day later I received the cheque.
