I want to give zero star but it's not possible, big-name worst services sbi amt and deposit machine only work 40% in my area branch and when we call the customer care services to complain about the same thing they tell you call me after 1 or 2 what there is network problem, I understand network happen one or twice but every month we are facing the same problem so I don't think it's a network problem... worst service ever only big name

We have saving account in post and some big amount we have need there is no direct withdrawals huge amount from post if you want you can give the advance notice so we thought we will deposite the Indian bank post to SBI so Friday early morning we deposite the cheque to SBI deonar branch Saturday was off Monday evening we got your cheque is bounce so Tuesday morning we ask the branch why the cheque is bounce . They said it bounce due to our system error.no shameless Ness on their face.although cheque is bounce by their foult and they charge me for it and second due to this I paid huge penalty from other I have given comment to someone and joke about this SBI people is when I ask the printout for cheque bounsing you can not imagine the cheque no and written proof from them the cheque no was mismatch.i am shocked how can india first number nationalise bank has this kind of services..very shame..believe me and my opinion don't open the account to this bank lower class service no responsibility they just showing into the bank they are very busy.but case is not like that..pathetic even they are not eligible for single star..

Trying to deal with a deceased persons estate and they just simply do not know what they are doing.The branch tell you to phone the contact centre and the contact centre tell you to go to the branch.
They don't even know how to log a complaint! Its incredibly frustrating at a very difficult time

Do not bank with SBI UK or SBI in India. For those who Bank with SBI and have had problems with getting access to their money report them to the FCA and FOS immediately and Actionfraud [Police]. Until the SBI UK is reported they will continue to mishandle accounts.

The role model to banks in India could be a lot better. Fact finding and Matching benefits with customers requirement is crucial. You can't just upgrade a credit card to collect an annual fee of Rs 4999 from Rs 2999 (which also is useless as ethical banking practises should not charge annual fees on top of the interest that you are already earning) to give reward points that they cant use or fly miles to someone who does not have any plans to fly for a year.

I have been working to get a mortgage from SBI for over six months, this bank is not business orientated slow and has no interest in actually providing any lending i wouldnt even give them one star. If you have been pitched a mortgage product by a broker who recommends state bank of india stay well away. This bank should not be involved in lending in the uk market. A bank is an overrated description for this outfit. I will never ever consider any products from this company and would urge every one to stay away

Terrible - Hours and hours wasted :- trying to fill in on-line web page forms which didn't accept (the correct) information, plus couldn't verbally communicate with support staff on the telephone. In the end had to send written request (with endless proof if ID) to complete a simple transaction.

I have a Sbi account in Maruthamkuzhi..trivandrum, kerala... worst banking service .... Poor service...3 times I visited the bank for enter my account book... The staffs are so lazy to enter the account book... First he told machine is not working... As I told, some one wrongly sent money to my account... He suddenly told he will enter the book and give me... Then suddenly he gave to another lady to do that ...she told server is down... This is the 3rd time they are behaving to me... The lady told I can visit to some other branch.... Waste of time.... 3rd time same time of dealing 2018 two times they behave me same... Unsatisfied with there services...

SBI UK is by far the most inefficient bank I've ever dealt with.
Years ago, I had to go into its London branch to collect documents relating to an account I'd opened after two requests had failed to get them posted to me.
Then it kept on rendering my surname incorrectly in annual statements, with two different variations of the correct form. My emails were ignored and when I rang to complain I was told that one variation was how it had appeared on an application form that I'd never filled in.
Nine years ago, my funds for a term deposit went into one of those silly short-term accounts paying next-to-no interest for two or three days, since when there's been absolutely no use for it, though I keep on getting annual statements showing £0.00 credit. The idea was that matured funds would automatically go into this account for a day or so and only then could I instruct what should be done with the money. I made it very clear that I wanted the proceeds paid into my High Street bank account.
I'm still getting those annual statements and so far this month I have had no replies to my two emails asking what the point of these are; I have no other accounts with SBI UK and would not want to.

I had a very bad experience with state bank of India. I was trying to get my parents to USA and thought of getting some foreign exchange from the SBI. They tell my elderly parents thousand one rules and not at all helpful in getting what is even allowed by RBI for Indian Citizen. Finally, they got help from another private bank locally without any hassle. Stay away from SBI unless you need to! They the worst of all banks in India.

I am a savings account holder in State bank of India Bankura Machantala branch ,IFSC-SBIN0000022. I was trying to withdrawl money of 20,000/- from SBI ATM on 16.01.2019 at Lalbazar ATM.No cash came out of the ATM after going through all the necessary options.Then I was trying another machine of SBI of this same ATM to withdraw 20,000/- & I got the cash 20,000/- . I received only 20,000/- from SBI ATM .Immediately I received two sms regarding the debit/deduction of amount from my account.The deduction amount was 40,000/-.40,000/- has been deducted from my account but I have received only 20,000/- cash from ATM.Immediately I checked the balance enquiry to ATM.I saw that 40,000 has been debited from my account.I even took out a mini statement from the ATM for my account.I kindly request you to look into the matter & credit back the amount of Rs.20,000 to my account at the earliest.I have already meet my sbi branch & told them about the matter & gave them the written complaint to branch manager.I have already launced a online complaint in sbi site on 16.1.2019 & called the sbi toll free 1-800-425-3800 .My complaint no is 5126638354.When i checked the complaint status in sbi site, I saw that complaint closed & I call the toll free no & asked about the matter to the sbi call center exe.They told me that complaint has been closed due to incorrect transaction details.They told me that i have to complaint again in online & wait for again 7 days to resolve complaints.I told them that I got two sms while withdrawling from atm & i put the details from that sms.I am frustrated now.I had launched many complaints in sbi site on 16.1.2019.They just closed the complaints without solving my issue.I got a msg on my mobile with my complaint number that my claim has rejected because transaction is sucessful.I did not receive the 20000 money till now.I am a ordinary man,if sbi deduct the money in such a fraud way & did not back the money.Then State Bank is a fraud Bank.I know , sbi is a nationalised bank.Is it a sign of
a nationalised bank?I am very disappointed to say those words.A single rupees are very crucial for a ordinary man like me. If the sbi atm machine is not working properly then who is responsible for this? I or state bank.Please say sir. The worst treatment ever received in any bank! Actually this bank and particularly 25, Horsefair Street,Leiecster branch does not deserve even a single star. The employees there are NOT after getting or increasing any business for the bank at all. All they are there for is to have a gossip, good chuckle with the girls at the reception; make the customer wait, get annoyed with their procrastination tacticts and leave the branch in an annoyed agitated mood. The pathetic part is exactly that is what the 'Young' and 'Immature' staff there aim at. No business ethics or conscience at all! I will not be surprised if this bank is doomed due to such attitude of its employees. The funniest part had been they are all one and the same (including their 'so called' manager). Its a big 'mockery' of the banking service. The customer takes the last place on their list of tasks. Their manners and gestures were simply annoying ! A disgusting experience as compared to any UK based Indian Bank (e.g.Bank of Baroda or Bank of India). The employees themselves are the worst enemies of this bank !

My experience with State Bank of India (SBI) in Toronto, Canada.
Recently I was about to send some money to my good friends in New Delhi. The cost of the wire and complexity of it at my regular bank was too much to handle. I decided to visit the main branch of SBI in Toronto. It was the best banking experience I ever had. I was helped at every step of the way. All was explained to me and the person I dealt with went out of her way to make this easy and understandable.
I now have an account with SBI, a debit card I can use in Toronto and in India where I visit regularly. I am considering doing more with my investments at this branch.
The person that made it all go so smoothly is Ms. Supraja Narayanan and I am very grateful for the service I received.

Do not EVER use this bank. I invested in a 2 year ISA but when it matured I couldn't find the interest? It had been deposited in a Savings Account which I was locked out of as I hadn't accessed it for 90 days - because I didn't know I had it!! 4 months so far trying to transfer the money out. Sent endless ID (failed to return) & endless changes of password but still doesn't work. Website is inpenetrable, Helpline just repeat "wait 24 hours and change password". Only solution to travel 2.5 hours to Southall but can't even find opening hours aaaerrrrgggghhhhhh!!!!!

Ilford essex branch open on Sunday 10am to 1pm . But NO counter staff . Cannot deposit money into account on a Sunday . No self service deposit facilities via cash machine like mostly all other UK banks . So why open if you cannot provide the service . 👎
