Tim K. is the best customer service agent I have ever encountered. Midway through the call, I invited him to take a tour at my work office. Overall, we had a great conversation and he was very helpful. Ultimately, the call ended with me in a good mood and in possession of a good plan.

I actually had a GOOD TIME switching my energy provider, which is normally something I would dread doing. My customer service rep was more than helpful and so informative!! Easy stuff!! Thank you Tim K. with TXU for helping me save money and for the laughs this morning as well!!!

I’m kind of new to Texas and I’ve never had to deal with so many options as far as energy providers. I was helped by Major. He was super helpful!! I know I asked him some of the same questions twice if not three times. He never complained and was very friendly. He made sure understood everything about my bill and the terminology (as I’m not familiar with all of the extra fees and charges Texas has). He also reviewed my options and went through each one with me asked a million questions. He reassured me each time that he didn’t mind the questions. I really appreciate the customer service! Thanks!

I spoke with Nick in the call center. What a rockstar! I need this guy on my sales team. Friendly, informative, not pushy, respectful, and above all saved me time and money. Give the man a promotion, a vacation, or a new car.

IF their service is merely to help consumers compare various energy providers, then they shouldn't be asking for personal information like your date of birth and then running a credit report. They should help me find a new provider. I'm not ready to apply for credit, just wanting to understand how various KWh pricing is offered.... Geez. I even told her, "just use 725 as a score for purposes of this exercise. Then if we find a provider we are wanting to switch to, then I will give permission for you to run a credit report and you will see that I am in the 725-730 range" But nope.... they are pushing way too hard...

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!
I was originally quoted a certain rate back in March for the last six months I have paid well over that rate. I'm told there's a credit coming my way but yet nobody can find it in the system and so I have not been credited yet. They accidentally canceled my application the first time in which I lost an even lower rate. Now they are telling me it's going to cost me $600 to cancel my contract. Staff is not friendly and automated system to make payments is beyond aggravating. It takes forever to make a payment!!
I have recommended and gotten three of my friends to sign up with this company one including my mother and not one person is happy.
I also asked for a three year contract at the lower rate since it was a good deal, they told me they weren't able to do three years they could only do one well lo and behold I'm locked in for 3 years at the higher rate. UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!

The Representative for save-on was a welcome experience in comparison to past times in my seeking a new energy contract.
He had several options and examples of differing choices! His explanations had clarity making it quick and easy to understand. He explained the low case/evaluation of a lock in option. He listened to my proposals intently, and he countered each one in a "think tank logic". at the end of 20 minutes or so, I was confident that I could make a clear choice as to what was best for me. I enjoyed the experience meeting him, and what instead of my prior thought of seeking new contract being apprehensive, he made it a challenging and pleasant experience!

The agent who helped me was very efficient and helpful. She made recommendations and was able to justify her suggestions with pricing and facts about the service being offered. The agent was very capable and responded to all of my questions and concerns professionally.
