I had a really bad experience with Salt customer service.
They don't give you clear information and neither care about you.
They hide information just to make me renew my contract, really not fair.

Salt SIMCard Review.
Curt sales guy at ZRH said card was good for Unlimited Internet. I asked twice. Yup unlimited. Plus a CHF 20 credit. Turns out the “credit” ran out and so did internet access after 400 MB at which time a top up if CHF10 was needed. So I got 800MB for CHF 30. Absolute rip off.

Really bad customer support!! They dont take you serious neither are they customer support agents able to speak the language. When asked to speak with the supervisor, the agent simply answered that this isnt possible because they dont talk. If you have a question or a complaint you have to write a written statement. Salt, never again!

I have been trying to reach salt to cancel my contract. But their customer service fir cancelling never picks up the call... I have been waiting in queue for more than an hour for 3 consecutive days... I have to cancel as am moving out of country. Now what should I do? Salt is ridiculously irresponsible providers. Will never recommend salt

200 Frank's for cancelling mobile number?! I am moving out from the country, not changing the mobile provider in Switzerland! I payed only 20 Frank's for making de-registration in Basel Migration office and you ask me to pay 200 franks for contract termination?! Scammers!

absolutely terrible customer service. person A will tell you you'll get a full refund if you get another data package. you do that and then they only refund half. They are also very short sighted with how they treat they're customers and have zero common sense or decency.

Have been with Salt for about 6 months now and wish I'd never moved from Swisscom. Porting over was a shambles and painful. Then EVERY month my bill is incorrect. Sneaky charges added, roaming calls/sms's added when I have never been abroad and always a reluctance to credit the account. Customer service team seem like they have been trained by the Customer Service School of Ryanair. Seems like I am not the only one with a bad experience. Personally I think I could run the place better than Pascal Grieder. If you are reading get in contact! I can give you some pointers. Stay clear people. Stay well clear of this "car wreck" of a mobile communications company. Customer is always king. First rule...

Worst possible experience with a provider ever!!!!
A little story to that: I payed my monthly bill as usual, a little later I got the first reminder with the note, that I will be charged an extra 30.00 CHF to my next bill. So I called in and said that I already payed my bill. It turned out they found my payed bill, so the lady from Salt told me, that I should call back on the 11 or 12th so they can take away the extra 30.00 CHF, which indeed shouldn't be a problem at all - she was nice and seemed uncomplicated. So I called on the 12th only to be told that this isn't possible at all and that this promise wasn't true. I argued and fought for my rights and both of the guys I talked to were rude and didn't care about the customers satisfaction. Multiple times I asked for the manager but they refused to do so. I felt treated like a liar claiming something just to get my money back.
Watch out for Salt. They do not take care of their customers, all they care is money and what they can get out of you, while being very unfriendly and ruthless.

This is a rip-off, as the customer service doesn't exist and the connection to the AT&T network is either so slow that you fall asleep waiting for a website to open or you don't get any connection at all. You would assume that Swiss, as an airline, is doing business with a more reliable partner but no they use one of the poorest SIM card company there is!

Small print theifs.
Never ever ever get close to this con mobile provider.
They will steal your money by being malicious, not transparent. Liars. Yuck. They seriously are a disgrace to the notion of "swiss quality".

Echoing everyone else's thoughts here. I am leaving this company as well. While Switzerland (in my 8 years experience living here) has fairly poor customer service, SALT is much worse than the average here.

I would give 0 star, if I could. They are selling their contract for 50% off, but they get their money anyway. They charge you money for roaming, that you never used. If you forget to pay you bill, there is no warning, the first dunning letter is coming with a 30.- fee. The Callagent is sitting somewhere outside Switzerland (not speaking proper German), not interested in your concern, just try to get rid of you in a super rude and arrogant way.

Dysfunctional teams - no respect for customer - super high roaming charges outside of CH - abysmal technical support - no follow up upon promises made - rude customer service when choosing to end contract - also stay away from their FIber offering : too good to be true is an understatement.

Bad and not honest service. They connect the HW during your contract with other provider is still active saying "You do not have to pay during this time" and then you get the bills from the first day of connection. I tried to void these bills but these 120chf were more important to them as a customer. That is why I quit the contract and found other provider!

La peggiore compagna telefonica voi possiate incontrare. Il loro scopo non consiste nel provvedere servizi. Il loro scopo consiste nel truffare la clientela. Io mi domando come possano sopravvivere. Penso che ciò sia dovuto alla mancanza di una reale concorrenza interna. In ogni caso EVITATELI:
The worse company you can meet. Their purpose does not consist in delivering services. Their purpose consist in cheating their clients. They only survive because of the lack of an effective internal competition into the Swiss market. AVOID them.

Writing because I am driven crazy by incredibly slow 4G internet. They sell their 4G modems, but little you know that decent speed is available only in woods and when other people are sleeping. I wanted to report the results of the speed test but the page doesn't load.
Forget about skype calls in the evening, if you arrive from the place where 4G works decently all the time, don't expect something similar in Lausanne, at least not with Salt.

Salt Customer Experience - never again
We are a swiss SME Company and have always been with Swisscom so far. Since Swisscom is rather expensive, we have re-evaluated our supplier for mobile communications earlier this year. The recent new offers by salt seemed very interesting and attractive with unlimited roaming in US and EU for an extremely competitive price. So we decided to switch all our 8 phones over to salt.
The actual sales process was indeed a pretty ok experience (it seemed at least at that time). However, the sales rep. promised up to 6 months where salt would not charge us due to us leaving the Swisscom contrats. The lady said that all would be taken care of - we would not have to do anything... sounds nice at first...
Result: after about two weeks we got new sim cards and the porting of the numbers actually happend - or at least it was communicated. WHat happened was that our employees could receive calls from some networks, but for example from swisscom a message was played to the caller saying the number did not exist. Very nice for a company... We could call out, but 2/3 of Switzerland could not call us anymore...
It took salt nearly 10 days to fix this!!! At first they blamed the phones (although same behaviour on all 8 subscriptions with different phones was reported). then it was swisscoms fault, *we* should talk to them ourselves?! Long story short: extremely unpleasant customer service and not willing to solve our issue with the necessary committment. This is totally unacceptable for B2B subscribers of a mobile communications service provider! We need working phones to do business - every day and every minute. Period.
The story went on, as the invoice was wrong as they charged us double in some places and did not honor the 6 months offer that was promised to us during the phone sales conversation. Furthermore, one of our employees wanted a mobile ID Sim and after his visit to the shop, he ended up having his subscription changed to a data plan - now uncapable to do phone calls at all... it still not working again 12 days later as of today.
Result: We called swisscom again and *begged* them to take us back ASAP. They will (phew) and they will even cover 500 CHF of the cost we had with salt.ch. Now this is what I call customers service!
Conclusion: Other mobile providers might be more expensive, but it works and they help you. Salt might be super attractively priced, but it does *not* work and they seem uncapable to help - either because they don't wanted to help or did not know how... both is bad...
The future is not very bright for this company if they continue like this...

I had a very bad experience. Salt doesn't respect the contract and their client services is the worst ever. I sent 4 registered letters, many emails and had many phone calls but they still ask for money illegaly. I checked with my legal insurance: they confirmed that what SALT does is NOT legal. I will never sign a contract with them again!
