I have now had the experience of ordering something from Sally Beauty's website, MORE THAN TWICE, where they end up cancelling the order 5 days after it's placed with no explanation at all. They are also always out of EVERYTHING when I buy in-person (hence, why I'm trying to order online). Apparently they don't keep track of what's in stock before letting customers "purchase" them. So unprofessional- DONE with this store. Walmart would probably serve me better, no joke.

I purchased the large orange curl rods. They arrived within a few days in time for me to use them over the weekend. After washing my hair and applying foam to roll my hair in a twist out style the results were better than expected. The curls were bouncy and just the right size. I will also try smaller rod sizes as I experiment with different styles from herinvestingthings.com

I tried a few of their products. One of those which I like the most is the curly cream. I didn't think there are such creams that can make real curls. BUt this one is rather effective, and not expensive.

I've had terrible experiences every time I order online but my closest Sally's is almost an hour away so it's not convenient to keep going there. I went to order hair dye, a hair filler, and developer and placed my order, no more than 10 minutes after I placed my order I instantly realized I placed the wrong wella hair color in the cart so I emailed and asked if I could either cancel my order or change the color and got a response 20 minutes later saying they cannot make any changes or cancel my order and only have a 30 minute window to do so? A large company should be able to cancel anybody's order especially 10 minutes after I placed it. They said I could refuse delivery and maybe that would refund my money? But with covid and everything that would be over two weeks away. Very disappointed with Sally's customer service

I walked in today wearing my mask. Pulled it down to smell shampoo. The worker said you need to put your mask on properly. I asked her if i could smell the shampoo, she said no. I placed my items down and walked out of the store. They lost our business that fay. I will not buy a shampoo that i cant smell. She has no customer service skills and should have handled the situation properly.

Since my last review was helpful to someone I had to update because it had been a long time. I wrote to the website a couple months ago & got a response from someone who couldn't answer any of my questions. She told me to contact the store which I knew for a fact they couldn't help with points as I had asked before & they told me to contact corporate, why I wrote to HQ since it looked like things again were messed up. The woman who was in touch finally explained that she was working from home (totally understood) & she was not corporate but said she would get someone else to get in touch. It's now been more than a month & I got another message only stating to contact the store, they were sorry for the long delay in response & everything is now up-to-date that they have corrected all points... which is not at all the case, nothing was changed. No one even acknowledged that the other woman contacted me it was as if this was the first time being in touch & didn't say anything about my birthday (this month). So I have no idea what is going on but I guess I'm going to have to attempt to call & sit on hold for that extended wait time to try to fix this because I have way too many accumulated points that I don't want to lose.

Placed my first order with Sally Beauty recently and the website has marked my order as complete and the items as delivered but I have only received 5/12 items ordered. When I track the packages some of the items show as delivered to a different area that is not affiliated with my account. I call customer care and will be on hold for hours. I emailed customer care a week ago and have not gotten a reply. I called the store local to me and they said they are unable to help. Looks like I will have to dispute the charges with my bank. Overall this has been a horrible experience and I hope they go out of business soon.

Firstly during covid they have been useless with delivery and fulfilling their orders but more importantly they charge an absolute fortune for items when you could be paying half on websites like beautykick.com or parfumdreams.com (for hair dye) I was shocked they had been charging me double what the product is this whole time.. I know I am not trade customer or a hairdresser but how offensive to charge that!!! They need a serious check because its ridiculous.

This company has the worst customer service. I have a reward credit that i was unable to use during the stay at home order. There was no Sally store open in our area. I even sent an email to sally's customer service asking for help with redeeming my points. My emails were ignored and I just called the customer service and was told there was nothing they could do as if it was my fault that their stores were closed.

Ordered and filled out billing form - somehow my address was changed to something not even resembling my address (Jamaica to Ponderosa). Impossible to be my mistake - even a different zip code. I contacted Sally and they said they would look into it - have NEVER heard back. I wrote a review similar to this one on their site and Sally sent me an email saying my review would not be published.

I made a large order from this website to take advantage of the free shipping option. After 3 weeks of waiting and recieving my order piece by piece, i called in to see where my bleach was. After waiting on hold for almost an hour in finally told that its out of stock. They didn't even bother to send me an email to let me know. I'll literally order from anywhere else. These people do not care.
The dude on the phone was sweet though.

I dislike writing reviews, but I find the cost of products I bought and the charges ridiculous. I have written to sally's and they are not changing anything. I received half my order. This is fine, other ended up out of stock. Down side is, shipping stayed the same and the cost of the now $16.76 order had an additional $23.32 added on to it for shipping and taxes. That's crazy! My charges were $40.08 US. If this was what was going to be done, I needed to be informed to make a decision if I thought such a small order was worth it. It was not. I'm very disappointed in the company, and not interested in purchasing from them again. Ever.

I ordered 3 items in mid-May, 2020. Two arrived within a day or two- albeit in completely separate delieverlies just a day apart. The third item- a 6" pair of haircutting shears never came. Which would be hard to miss if it had been included in the other packages-and/or as I flattened the boxes for recycling. I received no further updates past May 22- and their records showed everything had been delievered. I used the contact form on their website to ask about the missing scissors in late May. After giving them 10 business days- when their "response time" says 3-5 days; I attempted to call. However, the option #2 for online orders "was not answering calls at this time" (4:30 on a Thursday afternoon). I opted to try to see if someone that handled in-store orders could transfer me (option #1); after 45 minutes on hold- and repeatedly hearing how they were "sorry that all of our associates are currently assisting other customers," I gave up. Then realized their lines are only open until 5:00pm. Left another contact on the website, asking about my missing item- and mentioning the snafu with the phone-in Customer Service. That was over a week ago. I have heard nothing. I'm glad it was only $12 that they screwed me out of- but I will never spend another $1 there- due to their nonexistent Customer Service.

Zero stars. Will never use Sally Beauty again.
Ordered 6 items 13 days ago. 3 Arrived within a week. The most important 3 never shipped, and I never got any messages or phone calls, and the website indicates that these items are in stock. 3 emails have gone unanswered. Waited on the phone to customer service for 30 minutes. No indication of how long the wait time is. Nobody ever answered.
At least they only charged my credit card for the items that actually shipped. If it were possible to cancel the rest of the order, I would do it, but there is no way to cancel orders on their website, and I cannot reach anybody on the phone there.
