I went to the New Bond Street store of Sakaré. The salesperson was very fun and entertaining, however a little bit pushy. I ended up buying 3 products for the price of 1. I bought a peeling soap for £65 and got sea salt scrub and body butter. What bothered me is that when I looked up the prices of these 3 items online, they cost around £20 each. They never costed £65, £45 and £40 respectively. I mean, I was happy that I didn’t pay more than it’s actual worth, but they could have just sold me for the actual price, instead of pretending that their products cost 3x more than they actually do, and saying that I got a huge deal.

If i could give it less stars i would. Was pushed into buying products after a short demo. Wanted to order them online because we were travelling by plane and we were worried about limits. She said wrongly these products were more expensive online because of shipping as a tactic to buy them there. Because of the other reviews we Will not be using them and throw them out because they could be bad for health/skin. DO NOT GET FORCED INTO BUYING OR USING!!

Much like many of the shoppers on here, I had a very poor experience of being pushed into buying products at the Bond St store. I don't know why I let myself get pressured into a purchase as I'm normally pretty forthright, I think it was the tiring effects of the heatwave!
Even once I had made a purchase, I got semi-forced to sit and try further products and the assistant got very disgruntled that I wouldn't buy more. He kept pulling out a calculator and discounting further. I pretty much had to just grab my stuff and walk out the door with him chasing me.
I haven't tried the product yet as I'm hoping to gift it to my partner but now I'm worried from the other reviewers that I've been scammed into buying poor quality stuff.
Anyway, not a nice experience and nothing like you get with other high end stores like Aesop, Neals Yard, Rituals etc which I regularly shop in. Avoid being a dupe like me if you can!

I have been approached by your seller at shopping centre where I was ‘cleverly persuaded' to purchase products which were described to me inaccurately. Also the behaviour of the selling person wasn’t professional (appropriate).
The following issues:
- The cream Hydrating Mineral Complex has come with leaflet inside the box describing Regenerating Peeling Mask - such a mistake shouldn’t happen
While Fortifying Serum came with correct information leaflet. It clearly indicates poor production lines!
- I have been told that Fortifying Facial Serum should be applied every day morning - your advice on the box & leaflet says it should be used once a week.
- I have been told that this serum is in vacuum bottle which will prevent it going ‘off’ after opening - actually it is normal bottle which is not vacuums sealed & can be unscrew easy
- generally the quality of packages, bottles and closings are not comparable to the price being charged for those products. I would expect the highest standard of those for such a price (for example - scratched cream application spatula, ‘cheap looking glass’ etc)
- I have been told, during demonstration of Mineral Peeling Gel (Soap&Co) on my forehand that the white parts are my ‘dead skin’ while it is not true - it is the product itself changing form from gel into solid. That gives misleading impression to the customers!
- during the whole selling process I have been told I have to hug the seller because I’m so nice! It did happened but left me uncomfortable
- I felt high pressure
- I felt the seller was flirting
- I have been offered to come back for free facial, while I have asked if that includes shoulder massage (normaly it does in beauty salons) I have received strange respond from that seller that it doesn’t because everyone is watching, but he offered ‘deep tissue massage after hours’
I do expect a comment from Sakre, please.

I don’t agree with the negative reviews! The sales approach is similar to that of many places in Paris. I didn’t feel under any obligation at all to purchase. However I was truly impressed by the effects of the nail products so I bought the Nail Kit and have achieved the same results at home. My nails look great and it’s so simple. One professional manucure could cost as much as the purchase of this kit which hopefully will last for months.
Plus, the salesperson was charming.
I will try their other products next time!

I am from outside UK and oI rdered a Sakare product online. My creditcard was charged and the product was apparently sent. After that , it misteriously disappeared. The local postal service in my country tried MANY times to contact Sakare and Soap&Co to receive the correct details about the parcel, but wihout any answer. The Sakare customer care is playing the nice game, first suggesting that they will send me a new package with an extra product, to compensate for the "loss " and the second day Sakare informs me that the parcel has been collecetd , signed by a name I have never heard of .
It is an unbelievable manipulation and play with customer's psychology.
If you read all the excellent reviews, they all look written in the same style! The bad ones look very authentic. I would have NEVER ever ordered anything from them if I read the reviews first.
I will not get tired too soon of my new task : to spam all media I have access to with information about the true face of these companies: SAKARE and SOAP & CO.

Very bad! Tricky tactics to invite customer inside and sell products with non refundable conditions. Sales Assistant didn't inform about refund procedures as we are not locals. When we asked assistant said he forgot to about it. Wanted to return but they offer extra products for free. Assistant were aggressive and not very helpful after when asked for a refund. Very unhappy and for sure will not buy any SAKURA products again.

I was in Covent Garden yesterday with my daughter, and we got accosted in the street (by Amalia?) with a free soap, and before we knew it, were in the shop having products tried on us, then being offered them at crazily expensive prices, then with heavy discounts if you bought multiple products. Honestly, who would pay £165 for a face serum you hadn’t even planned to buy, even with other products thrown in? Pressurised selling tactics, which I can see would work on many people. I’ve seen very similar hand/nail care sets being offered at Westfield before, with the same selling tactics, and discounts. There are no prices listed in the shop. I did not buy, but from what I could work out the products were cheap: smelt of synthetic fragrances, and the main ingredient for the cuticle oil was petroleum based. I’m posting this review to warn others: don’t fall for paying over the odds for products made with cheap ingredients!!!!

I got scammed into buying one of Sakare's nail kits by a very persuasive man at a mall. I just looked up one of the many questionable ingredients in the Hand and Body lotion, triethanolamine, and easily found on the web despite FDA approval, it should never be used long term, as it has been proven to have detrimental effects on human skin, on the immune system and has been classified as a respiratory toxicant. Clinical tests show that high doses of triethanolamine have caused liver, bladder, and testicular cancer in laboratory animals. !!!!!! SERIOUSLY??? WE NEED MORE CORPORATE OVERSIGHT ON WHAT PEOPLE CAN PRODUCE AND SELL. DO NOT BUY THESE PRODUCTS.

A very dishonest treacherous business. There are no set prices. I was offered 10 products for £750 and then it was discounted to £250 because I was a nice person. If you go in they take you for a mug. The products are all fake and nit from the Black Sea. I must give credit to the sales technique that is practised . It is beyond belief that they are trading. They should be closed down for misrepresentation and fraud. The owner should be jailed lonterm hung dreawn and quartered. Innocent people are being mugged daylight robbery. The tabloid newspapers should report it. Please speak everyone who has been duped. This business should be closed down immediately !!!!!

This is a review about how the store operates and not the product. When you pass by the store they lure you in with a free cream or a soap or something. They call you beautiful and flirt with you. Then they make you test the product. Then they show you a price list that has crazy exorbitant prices £65 for a £25 product. Then they tell you that since you are so pretty and you are such a good person they will give you a discount and then they proceed to sell it at actual price. I think they would have more sales if they were just honest

I was lured into the store, the man who served me, Patrick made me feel very uncomfortable, and I felt overly pressured into buying the products. He kept flirting with me and even mentioned that I’d probably be buying intimate wear from Victoria’s Secret after. I felt I couldn’t leave the store without buying, as he moved my bags to another part of the store and now I’ve lost money. Completely upset, and angry. I don’t live close either, so I’m unable I return the products.

I was approached by Flavian from the Bond Street store whilst walking past with my mum. To begin with he was very pleasant asking about where we were going( although slightly put off that he was suggesting that I should be going to Victoria secret because that what all the girls my age do). We went inside and I was really impressed by the nail buffer which he used on me. I told him that I was very pleased and would look online ( I did not purchase the kit due to having to go to a concert in the evening and wasn’t sure if I would be allowed to take it in). We left the store and he came running after us with his business “card” ( which was a little piece of paper) and proceed to ask me “is this product to expensive for you?” I didn’t really know how to respond to this. He was clearly put out that we hadn’t made a purchase. I could afford to buy the product 10 times over if I wanted to but I didn’t. I planned to come home and buy the kit online but now having second thoughts.

Neal Street store the sales lady was amazing and offered me a really good price. She spent time to show me how to use the kit. I decided to buy the nail kit for a friend.
New Bond St store - I went to return the above mentioned nail kit as my friend is having an eczema flair up and is no longer using scented products. The sales guy was horrible. He said that he could not refund the item as I bought it from Neal Street and refused to agree that they were a chain. The manager came up and offered the refund immediately and just wanted feedback as to the reason for the refund. Everything was smooth sailing from there but I was put off by the rude employee.
