I used their $60 voucher deal to buy a wall decor and I am very pleased. It came fast and it looks beautiful, and it was all free. Thank you so much @saal.digital

I feel cheated...
I got an email that my profile was selected to test the photo books with a 40 € coupon. I designed the photo book. After creating my photo book, I tried to redeem the $ 40 voucher in step 3. The total amount was not reduced by 40 €. At the end I had to pay the whole amount. I couldn't use the coupon.
It is really a shame, if you invest a lot of effort in the design and the finished photo book then don't receive a 40 € voucher. I had to pay the full price!
The problem solution was the following (I got the following answer from Saal Digital):
"Selected photo products were in a discount promotion and your voucher value was deducted from the list price, not the promotional price, so it is not possible to combine the coupon codes with other promotions or coupons."
With the payment option, there was no choice between the coupon and the other discounts. All calculations were done automatically, so my voucher did not work. Since I spent so much time in the design of the photo album, I had no choice but to continue the payment at an unfavorable price.
In my opinion this was a clever trick not to grant a coupon.
I am dissatisfied with the discount action also with their answer! Troubleshooting? It was not a problem solution.
I feel cheated.
Now I've received an email to post a review so they can complete my participation in their campaign. What campaign?
I did not use the voucher !!! Did they read my complaint at all?
Very poor !!! Bad experience...

Excellent service - great product. Had the opportunity of ordering one of the canvas, printed a picture of my wife and I and its very nice. The quality is good, the price was fair and it came out exactly as we had designed it.

I did not believe that I could really use a 60 euro discount without any trick or manipulation. After handling the layout with their special program, I got my order less than a week. I was pretty satisfied with the result. I bought the professional line which is not their the best product but still pretty good deal. The only problem is that in the black areas there is no so much detail. If you are a photographer capturing the stars, You might need to think twice. And without a discount it's a bit pricey. If you are working with mostly photos with good light, you don't need to think about anything. Just go and grab it. You can make sure yourself you will have the same image with the one on your mac screen.

They don't know what they're doing!
I placed two orders in late December, both orders were payed for immediately by credit card. Then in late May i get an invoice reminder and they claim that I haven't paid for the two orders. This is almost 6 month after I've ordered and paid. Now they want me to prove that I've paid, which is no problem since I did pay. A couple of days later I get an email that says that they can confirm that I've paid for all my orders. We'll surprise, surprise!! No apology, no "sorry for wasting your time" no "ups our bad" nothing. Absolute incompetence!! Don't buy from them!
UPDATE: A week ago I received the exact same reminder email for the exact same invoices. Had to go through the entire proces again. And again not even the slightest hint of an apology.

I got one of their wall decorations, I was a little apprehensive at first but the order was sent out promptly and received the product in a short amount of time. The picture we asked to be printed came out beautifully. The whole ordering process was kind of complicated but once I was able to maneuver into the ordering process I figured it out, But the product as a whole was awesome. I would order from them again.

It is very rare that I write reviews online, but this organisation is so abysmal that I felt compelled to warn others. I sent a Photobook in for printing 3 weeks before I needed it. I heard nothing for about a week, so I dropped them an email enquiring about when I might get it (good luck trying to get a telephone number.. they obviously don't want anyone to have it as they'd be inundated with complaints!). I was told that the item was 'in production'. Another week passes by with no contact so I drop them another line.. this time I'm told that there have been some delays in production and they cannot tell me how long the delays will be for and when I might receive the Photobook. I finally found a telephone number and called them and spoke with a very polite young lady who was very apologetic but completely useless.. they finally admitted, about 4 days before my deadline, that they would be unable to produce the Photobook and offered me a refund! Needless to say I missed my deadline because no one else was able to turn around my Photobook is such a short timescale. Heed all the negative reviews online about this organisation.. they truly are as incompetant as the reviews suggest. I would save yourself a lot of grief and use one of the many other companies out there offering this service, all of whom would undoubtably be better run, more competent and have better customer service than this organisation!

Saal Digital may very well be my new supplier for photobooks.
Everything was as expected or better even
If I was to find one fault is that the design process can be a bit off putting at first but once grasped will work as intended.
The book arrived in good time. There was no posting damage by the courier, the tracking supplied though was tricky which led to some mistrust at first, when the tracking did begin and the package arrived shortly after it completely erased that feeling.
The photo print is superb quality and in my photobook design creasing between pages was minimal if any.
I must give a full recommendation to the people over at Saal Digital and there products!

Last year in 2018 I was very satisfied with Saal . A photo book I ordered cost just £53.70 for a 32 page book.
However this year I ordered a 32 page photo book at a cost of £89.95!.
The per page cost were as follows.. 2018 £0.95
How can they justify this increase of almost 3 times?
Sadly I cant afford the new price structure and I will be moving my business elsewhere. I am disappointed and disgusted

I used this company a year ago. They messed up my printing and blamed me. Eventually, after lots of emails and a dispute through PayPal, they agreed to reprint my order free of charge and the new prints were marginally better.
Then 1 year later they started bombarding me with invoices for work that doesn't exist. I contact their customer services who declined to help, referring me to their online forum.
This is either crass incompetence or a worrying breach of data security which they are not admitting.

Really poor and rude customer service-do not use. I bought some samples for £15, and was informed my subsequent order would be discounted by same amount. Except apparently due to Brexit they will not ship to me now. This site had been recommended to me but I wish now I had used a UK company. Regardless of what happens I won't be using them again.

Amazing. The prints are fabulous (I used photo rag) and the help is beyond excellent. The prints on rag paper do tend to come out darker and more saturated than one might expect, so they ask you to install the correct profile (in Photoshop or Lightroom). They have given me ENDLESS, patient assistance with getting this right. I have been dealing (but in English) with saal-digital.es rather than the UK branch (my prints come from Germany, beautifully protected) but I expect the standard of service is the same.

I ordered a photo canvas 50x50 from Saal Digital in Portugal and I have to say that I was super impressed by the quality of the print.
Not only the quality of the print was exceptional but also it arrived in 5 days, I would absolutely recommend using their service.

Excellent quality prints. I have ordered a couple of 50x70 prints as well as 20x20 on different papers, from their cheaper to their more expensive and they all look amazing.
Their aluminium prints look good, especially the "butlerfinish" where white becomes raw aluminium (think printing on kraft paper, where white becomes brown, but with aluminium). I have however only ordered small sizes as test so far.
Their desktop application used when ordering could do with some work, the process to create multiple prints is far from perfect, but it works.
The prices are great too.

Overall, I'm happy with quality of the products, as far as I can tell. And they send the goods quite fast. However:
1. Customer service can be slow when it's their turn to answer your questions.
2. Poor quality control. I sent files (for small prints) through their mobile app. Some of the prints I received were either blank or only partially printed, as if the files arrived incomplete at their end. In any other photoservice I have ever, ever used in my life, from consumer to high end, when there were any doubts, I was always contacted to solve the problem. Sending blank or semi-blank prints means no quality control. I didn't report this to their customer service, because at that point I was already pretty annoyed by their attitude, which brings me to
3. ...lack of transparency of their production process. Again - anywhere I have ever, ever printed, the printing technology, paper type and brands have been either mentioned on the website, or I would get all the information via email when I asked. Not so with Saal. I asked them about their Art Print (Kunstdruck) paper and printing method used in some of the photobooks - it's only natural that I want to know what I'm paying for. First the Polish customer service, then the British one, sent me an email telling me basically that the printing method and the paper are awesome but they can't tell me anything else - and advised me to buy their sample set. Nowadays, when transparency is more important than ever, such shady answer is unacceptable. At this point, I'm waiting for my last order to arrive - and that's that. I simply lost my trust in them. If you look at their website, there are only positive opinions - I guess because critical ones, like mine, were censored. Pity, because they have a lot of potential.
Just received my last order. The prints and the inner envelope they were transported in were damaged. The outer envelope was fine. I sent them a message with photos of the damaged goods, first via email - where I got a reply that due to identity protection they can't process it unless I send it via the website form, which now I did.
Without me asking, they sent me non-damaged prints in a few days from my complaint. Which is obviously promising.
Overall, I hope they keep developing in that direction - it was the first time my experience with their customer service was so professional. Perhaps our opinions matter, after all.

Really bad customer experience. I've been happy with Saal Digital and used them a lot for my customers (I'm a photographer). Bud it's only good when everything goes right. The moment you need to contact their customer support for some reason it's really bad. I ordered this very big and expensive wall picture for a customer. By mistake I didn't change the delivery adress to the customers adress which means it used the paying adresse (my own). I saw it immediately after I had payed for the order. I tried to find a phone number for customer service but it was impossible. Apparently they don't want you to call them. I emailed them about the issue to two different email addresses. After a couple of days I received the reply and they told me it was to late to change the delivery adress. I told them that I it was really bad customer service that I couldn't change my order immediately after I had placed it and they replied and told me next time to write to this email adress immidately after I've placed the order. I replied and told them that was what I've already done. In the reply I was told that I should write the right delivery adress in the first place.
This is not OK. It should be possible to change small things like that if you're fast and it should be possible to get in touch with the customer support very fast.
Now I just recived the wall picture on my own adress which means I have to use money on posting it again to my own customers which means they won't have it before Christmas (it was ment for a Christmas present).
I'm so furious with Saal Digital and their really bad customer support. Don't use them!

I participated in the promotion Saal Digital offered a few month ago and ordered a photo book. The software they provided to upload my photos was a little confusing and unclear. First you have to download it to your computer and create your own book. I received the book after a week or so and it had a scratch on the cover which did not make my experience good. The quality of the photos is good but the software that i used created some layers between pages and make the book look a little unprofessional. Also the software had no indication in terms of paging of the book and two photos were printed on the other side of the cover pages both front and back. Of course I reached out their customer support and I was asked to send them photos of the defects which i did. Then they asked again to take screenshots of the software i used which I had uninstalled. So I just gave up my hopes as i got the feeling that they were not really trying to solve the issue. These days when there are thousands of other printing companies and strong competition, I would have expected a better assistance especially if they are trying to gain more market share.

I used Saal as a promotional deal. The product was good, but on ordering I felt cheated as offers became available which meant I could have had more for my money. Designing the book is better on some other companies software. I will be unlikely to use Saal while the chances of my valuable work is just dumped outside my house, and not at the stated time either. Suggest Saal link up with a reliable courier.

I recently had the opportunity to order a photo booklet from Saal Digital with a voucher of £20. The software they have available is great and really allows the customer to design the booklet exactly how they want. I am very happy with mine and the quality is great. Thanks again

High end photo books for your portfolio display, the only problem was that one of my pictures in the photobook was off of the actual page which gave the picture a white border on the bottom, that’s either my fault when adjusting the picture or the app accidentally moved the picture, it has nothing to do with the printing.

I was offered the chance to use their services and given a link for a £50 voucher. I chose to have a 60cm x 30cm print made, to be printed on a thin aluminium sheet and with a matt finish. All I ended up paying was £2.95 after applying the discount voucher, which was brilliant. The voucher was given to me on the condition that I posted a review about their service and the quality of their product, which I was more than happy to do. My order arrived and I was looking forward to seeing one of my photo's in a large print. The packaging that the picture arrived in was very commendable, very sturdy and protective, so the picture arrived fully intact and pristine. However, my excitement was quickly replaced with huge disappointment when I peeled off the copious amounts of shrink wrap film around the picture. My photo had not been fully printed onto the fine sheet of aluminium, along the whole length of the bottom edge of the picture, there was a 25mm orange band where the printing process had not been completed fully, a bit like the effect you get with a fogged film. I immediately checked the image that I had submitted onto their website, via the custom software that they have for making orders and could see that my photo had no such banding on it and in fact was a perfect high quality image. The image produced by Saal Digital on the aluminium sheet would have been of a very high quality apart from that orange banding and a slight overall yellow colour cast. I then followed the supplied link and submitted my review, outlining my disappointment but praising them for the packaging. I waited a few days, thinking that surely someone would contact me in some way and offer me an explanation as to what had happened to my order, I supplied them with a photograph of the print I received, so they could see the error but as yet, I have received no response from Saal Digital, which again is very disappointing. You would think they would have had some sort of quality control in place, to make sure that the finished product was of a quality standard, I find it hard to believe that my print was processed and packed with such a glaringly obvious fault and it seems the quality of their customer service is no better!

I recieved my beautiful gallery print sets (plus a little extra print for my room) from Saal Digital UK. I had the pleasure of exhibiting the framed work, printed on FineArt Photo Rag Hahnemühle paper at an exhibition. The printing is impeccable and I was proud to display it. The two I have on Alu-Dibond (aluminium composite panel) are also immaculate, beautifully tactile and robust. I will likely be entering them into galleries too. My little extra printed on PVC foamboard is also perfect and matches my room exquisitely. I LOVE the matte finish on all of them. Thank you so much team ♥

Saal Digital, a company that specializes in high quality photobooks that I've seen on social media a few times. I saw that they were looking for people to try out their service, and kindly obliged. As a disclaimer, yes, I did get my photobook from them at a very minimal cost. However, that will not have an influence over my review.
I went with the 7.5 x 7.5 size of the book, mainly because I was planning on extending my pictures to fit one picture on two pages. I went with a glossy finish for the pages, which is an extra $5. The feel of the pages is really high quality. Like cardstock, but with a photo finish quality for the glossiness. I did 28 pages for my book. The minimum is 26 pages for $59. The cover and overall feel of the book is like a high quality children's book. It can probably take a minor beating, and light spills could probably be cleaned off the pages without any damage.
To create the book, you have to use Saal Digital's proprietary program to build and create your book. It takes a couple of minutes to get used to it, but once you have it down, it's not too bad. I would have preferred if the book could have been created online on their site instead of needing to download and install the program on my computer, but it's not a dealbreaker.
The price, the cheapest one is 7.5 x 7.5 with 26 pages for $59.95, for $74.95, you can get the 8.5 x 11 or the 11 x 7.5, For $99.95, they offer the 11 x 11, and for $174.95, they offer the 16.5 x 11. I'm assuming the minimum page is 26 for the others too. As an amateur photographer, I would not pay anywhere near these prices for a project. With the discount it definitely made up for it. However, I don't think I am their target audience. I could see this as more of something a wedding photographer would offer to a client. The quality is their, the price is a little over the top for the casual enthusiast, but would definitely fit capturing a big moment in life for professional work.
