We have used Rydoo for a couple of years to handle expenses for about 25 employees across the globe. It works well for us, but we did already have a well established submission and authorisation process.
What is not so positive is the ongoing billing issues that Rydoo appear to be unable to resolve. I don't want to pay double every month. Responses are less than apologetic and reaction time is unacceptably slow.

I would give this a 5 star if their matching algorithms actually works. The logic they've implemented is less than intelligent and more than 50% of the time cannot match an expense to transaction, even if the date, amount, vendor are an exact match. In addition I've noticed their support as of late has become less responsive. Where Rydoo (formerly xpenditure) have it down is in the interface design. Very user friendly.
I have to drop the rating even lower now as I've identified (I'm sure others may have as well), that there is an issue when importing transactions. The application requires transactions imported as dd/mm/yyyy, but allows settings to display as mm/yy/dddd. All good so far. So I set up the template accordingly and ensure that everything is in proper order from my banking statement downloads. After importing, all looks good except that I find 1 in 10 records the app has reversed the dd/mm and so transactions will not match up.

Great tool for corporate expense management. They have a great app, where you can just snap a picture of the receipt and it reads out the information on it. It saves a lot of time for people who are travelling a lot and don't want to spend a lot of time doing expense reports. It's also very convenient for our accounting department, because now they can approve my expenses in real-time and and I get reimbursed a lot faster.

Unprofessional, and unreasonable conduct. It takes twice as long for employees to do there expenses. I would not recommend this software package. Poor training material, and little help

The trouble is, it isn't painless. Many receipts are incorrectly scanned and/or VAT amounts incorrectly calculated, so my book keeper has to manually verify each scanned receipt against the Rydoo information; and has to correct it.
So we may as well stick to our pre-existing manual processes, as involve less combined administration and cost, compared to using Rydoo.
Also, if we reject an expense, staff cannot re-submit it without finding the original receipt and scanning it in again, by which time the original receipt is usually in the bin.
As Rydoo is used as you go along; and you submit expenses on the fly (eg by taking a photo of a train ticket or restauant receipt), staff were never sure if they have been paid the right expenses amount at the end of each month, as Rydoo had no facility to mark an expense as "PAID". Only as "Submitted" and "Reported". They felt more comfortable using monthly expense spreadsheets, which showed a clear amount that was due.
If these things could be fixed, we would be happy to continue using it. I bought a 12 month subscription in good faith; and 6 months in, have cancelled it. We had 10 staff using it. Whom are all now happily submitting spreadsheets again instead.
It also took a long time to setup and configure in the first instance, which led me to persevere to try and get the most value out of it, but unfortunately that was wasted time for my staff and I.

Works very well for our companies, some minor problems for people who are not used to new tech, but generally speaking very useful, time saving app bringing transparency, awareness and smooth approval of expenses to our company.

We use the platform since 3 months and since then we are working on fixing all the bugs and problems. The internal team is motivated to solve them but there is no professional approach of setting the system up in a way that it simply works.
The idea is good and we still use it but I really don't agree with the approach of "setup - trying - fix problems - trying - fix problems - trying - fix problems" ... that should be done by xpenditure and not by the client.
We are a team of 25 people and may not have the easiest structure... but still 3 months is too long.

Xpenditure is an excellent platform for organizing and submitting expenses. If this company continues to invest in the development of this platform it will be nearly flawless in no time. The only minor issues I have with the platform are:
1. Foreign currency receipts that are converted by Xpenditure into your currency are never equal to the value that your credit card company actually posts to your credit card. Most often the amount Xpenditure calculates is less than what you are billed so you need to upload a copy of your credit card statement and manually change the reimbursement amount. It's an issue that is fairly easy to work around but it is a nuisance.
2. Mileage tracking needs a bit of work as well. The interface is excellent but it's difficult to specify the driving route that you took. The integrated Google Maps interface always assumes that you drove the shortest (distance) route but this may not be your fastest or the most practical route. You cannot drag the route map to the other route which you may have driven so it's a real pain to get the system to calculate your driving route correctly. I often need to open another browser tab and try to find addresses along sections of highway so that I can enter that specific address into the route input fields. This is the only way to force the system to calculate the route you actually drove.This is normally only an issues on longer trips, for shorter trips the current platform still works great.
Other than those two issues, the system works perfectly and certainly results in significant time savings when submitting expenses. Highly recommended!

Since I've been using Xpenditure I don't have to worry anymore about expenses and receipts. The only thing I do is take a pic of the receipts whenever I get them and Xpenditure does the rest. At the end of the month I can easily send all expenses to my accounting software.
