My wife has bought quite a few pieces from Rouje and she loves their clothing. Their customer service was great and when she had difficulty placing an order they went above and beyond to help her.

Terrible customer service, my order was missing an item in a gift that their website clearly states is included and they did not help me at all. The items are average and not worth luxury prices.

I have bought a few different items from Rouje over the last few years as I love the vintage style designs. However, I have had mixed experiences. In general, the quality is quite good and the fit in keeping with the size guide on the website. I'm not sure though that the quality of the fabrics and buttons justify the prices. The reason that I'm giving 3 stars rather than 4 is because of the useless customer service. I emailed to ask if I could add an additional item to my order (which was waiting to be despatched for a few weeks due to COVID 19) and they obviously didn't even read my query and just gave a standard reply about post being delayed. I had a similarly frustrating response with their customer service when I enquired about shoe sizes last year. The best way to get a decent customer service response seems to be if you comment on Instagram!

I have never left a bad review before but I felt this necessary as I was upset by this experience. My package was over 2 months late and never showed up. I got in contact with customer service through their email and they weren't very helpful and did not keep me informed of any updates / locating my package which had gone missing was just not a priority. For the cost of items, it is fair to expect a good quality of customer service but this just isn't the case. For anyone experiencing similar, I advise to get in contact with their social media rep as she got my issue resolved and was much more accomodating.

This has to be one of the worst retail experiences that I have ever had. Every step of the way was a nightmare.
First, I had problems paying on their website. I am an American living abroad, and so most of my financials are based in the US although my shipping address is in Germany. Normally this has never, ever been a problem. I am able to pay with an American based credit card and ship my item to anywhere I want. Not with Rouje! After some back and forth, the only way we determined I could receive my items where I live in Europe would be to use my European debit card, which I'm sure not everyone would necessarily have.
Then according to their website, they indicated that any purchases over 250 Euros (which applied to me), would come with free delivery. Due to COVID, their normal delivery service Collissimo was suspended and they would continue to fulfill this promise with DHL. This information, by the way, was only on their French website and was nowhere to be found on the English speaking portion of their site. In any case, in my checkout, I was forced to choose DHL because Colissimo wasn't even an option. This charged me an extra 14 euros. I had to specifically email the customer service and point out the information on their own website that indicated that I shouldn't be charged. They responded clearly without having read my email and said "Free shipping only applies to Colissimo, and I see you have selected DHL," to which I had to, once again, point to their own regulations indicating that DHL delivery would also be covered. They finally relented and "refunded" me (I still have not received this refund) and said that they will make a "special exception" in my case.
The delivery is guaranteed to arrive within 4-7 business days. I emailed 11 days after my purchase to ask where my items were. And almost immediately after I got a notification that my items were now shipped to me. I take this to mean that they forgot about my order, and only bothered to ship it when I asked them about it. I'm not their mother, I'm their client--a client that is apparently willing to pay absurd amounts of money for overpriced items, which in the end turned out to be garbage quality.
Today, nearly a month after I placed my order, I finally received my package and lo and behold an item that cost 130 euros is completely missing. So only half of my order arrived at all. I emailed customer service, furious that it took nearly a month for my items to arrive and to find half of them missing and without being refunded. They responded that I should have received an email weeks ago that some of my items would not arrive because there was a "problem with the quality" and they would never dare send out a defective item. I never received such an email, and I asked them that if that were the case that they could not send out my items, why was I not refunded immediately for the items that would not arrive? Were they just counting on me forgetting how much I paid and what I ordered, and count on me to remind them and otherwise would keep the money?
Also the quality of the one item that actually arrived is absolute garbage. My skirt is seethrough.
They said that my items had been refunded to my account, along with my shipping fee. I have so far received no refund at all, neither for my shipping nor for my missing item. This means that Rouje has effectively stolen 150 Euros from me. This is beyond atrocious behavior, especially for a "luxury brand" like Rouje. Absolutely disgusting.

Placing an order at Rouje, I had a lot of high hopes for a boutique that seemed French chic with an array of investment pieces. Given the prices of the items, this is really the only expectation one would have. After receiving my order, however, I am fairly disappointed at the poor quality and craftsmanship of the clothes. One of the dresses I ordered has a sleeve that was sewn on wrong and the fabric can be compared to what’s found at a fast fashion store. To say I am disappointed is a big understatement. That being said, I still like the idea of Rouje and think there’s room for improvement by providing more quality checks on items and improving fabric quality. At this point in time though, $190 for something that can be purchased at ZARA isn’t going to cut it.

I ordered a pair of shoes to the US. It is still delayed in customs and has been a week since the expected delivery date. I emailed Rouje twice to no reply. I even paid the international fee to call their French office, and the representative who answered was not apologetic or helpful at all. She suggested I had to pay extra import tax, but DHL said this was not the case. There was no further action no my delay or even any apology for the inconvenience. My order is still stuck in customs with no indication of why or when it will come through. I am very disappointed with how rude and unresponsive Rouje service has been. For a brand that has positioned themselves as a boutique, independent, and small-batch designer, with prices that are quite expensive, they don't treat their customers with any respect.

I’ve ordered from Rouje twice and have been satisfied both times. I ordered the Lucas cardigan in a size 36 and the Gabin dress in a size 38 (my regular size) also according to their size chart and they fit perfectly. The cardigan is made in Italy so it is lush, unfortunately the dresses are made in China so as much as I love it I’m unsure if they are worth the price, the dress is very breathable though as I’ve worn it on hot days and it’s nice to wear and heavy enough that the wind doesn’t blow it open. These are great everyday pieces and wear them a lot as they are very easy to wear. I received my order in 4 days via DHL.

Every piece I have purchased here is an addition to my wardrobe that I will wear for years to come. Beautiful clothing. I haven’t returned anything because return shipping cost basically the same as the garments... which aren’t cheap... so make sure you have the right size and really want it. I’m 5’8 and wear a US size 6-8 bottoms and typically a size M top. At Rouje everything I purchased was a size 40 and fits perfectly. It does take awhile to receive but people buying need to understand that it’s extremely expensive to ship items from France to the US because of customs. A small company like this isn’t able to eat that much of the cost on orders. It really is very expensive. If you ship a package to France, it will cost you $70 if it’s very small. Anyways, I love Rouje and plan to keep shopping here!

It took a long time for the dresses to arrive.
When i emailed Rouje for some information about the delivery, it took a long time for them to reply. When they finally replyed back, it was coincidentally the same day that the order arrived.
The dresses was beautiful, but had a wierd cut and fit.
I returned both dresses, because i didnt think they was worth the money. Now i have waited since the 9. maj 2019, and didnt get any kind of information from them about my return. Im waiting for them to reply back - lets bet that they will contact me, when the money is back and everything in order, so they do not have to handle a dissatisfied costumer. It is a lot of money 375 euro, to have swimming on its way.

I've ordered from Rouje 3 times and I'm pretty satisfied with my purchase in general. I love the cutting and little details, but still a bit pricey in my opinion. One thing I don't understand is that they have 2 prices, EU price and USD price. If you live outside of the EU you have to select USD price, and it's supposedly tax-free. However, the tax-deducted USD price is still higher than tax-inclusive EU price, plus they charge $40 for international shipping, which is a bit over the top.

Speedy responses to my emailed queries regarding a recent order and the items came quickly in the post. Only marked one star down as the dress was quite expensive and already has a hole in it after 3 wears :(
