Don’t. I have been a student for about 4 months now. I recently left a good review as their weekly lessons were good but their customer service is horrible. I was unable to attend a lesson and I had trouble downloading. A lesson. No big deal I will call the 24/7 support. Ok. The young lady tells e she can’t help as I use a Mac. I ask if to speak to someone who can. She says no. I also to speak to a supervisor she says no. I spent a lot of money to be told no. I should not be punished because I use a Mac. Oh well lesson learned. Also you will not get a refund once class starts. Stay away.

Many times I don't know how to pronounce correctly the new words in each unit.
Also, in Ulpan 4, we don't have RECORDINGS of you reading things. I like recordings because they help me imitate the way you speak. Plus, recordings help me with my comprehension because my brain needs to hear you speak.

This company is a scam. I requested a cancellation and then they charged me more than $400 when cancelling — without telling me of the cancellation fee. They essentially charged my card after I said “no more charges to my card.” That’s against the law and this business should be ashamed of itself.

The Rosen School of Hebrew is simply the best option available to those who wish to learn modern Hebrew and the culture and idiom of Israel. I recommend the school without reservation.

I haven't had too many classes yet, but so far Rosen Hebrew has been a awesome experience. I think I'm truly understanding how Hebrew works which makes me happy because learning Hebrew has been a goal of mine for a long time. Learning more about Israel is also fun. The atmosphere and actual learning has been very relaxed and stress free. I definitely feel more confident after each class.

WARNING! DO NOT RISK TO LOSE YOUR MONEY! Rosen School of Hebrew (Formerly eteacherHebrew.com) have found out a smart way how they let you pay a full price for a semester (824 Euro) even if you will get nothing from them. Consider: They let me pay the full semester (824 Euro) even when I cancelled my study after 1,5 teaching hour – 8 days from the 1stlesson). But it was only partly a personal fault of David Maurice from their Customer Care Team, who did it, even if according their system he had to pay me back 10% refund (82,40 Euro – this is my right when I cancel up to 10 days after the 1st scheduled lesson). Their cancellation refund system is so (you can check it on their page under Terms and Conditions – eTeacher - Cancellation Refunds) that even if you find out, that you do not like their teaching system even on their very first lesson, you get back only 10% (82,40 Euro) of the full price of the curse – you pay 741,60 Euro for nothing, only because you trust them. I did not get back even this 10%. They took from my credit card the rest of the full semester price as a cancellation fee.
In Europe we have a law, that when you buy something by internet or by phone, you can return it without payment and explanation even after 14 days of use. This is a fair protection of the customer. Not here. You have no chance to check the real condition in the group before the first lesson. But after the first lesson you have to pay them 90% or even 100% (my case) of the fee for the full semester. In my case it was after 1,5 teaching hour 824 Euro. Is that fair? Do you like it? Me not!!!

Ok this just happened again. I am a customer and I am unable to download past lesson I missed so I called customer support as this is a problem that has happened before. the customer support person could not help and when i asked to speak to a supervisor she rudely said no. I asked for her name and she hung up. The last time something similar happened and i got a message saying this is not normal yet here we are again. horrible customer service and once they have your money they dont seem to have time for any issues you have.

After looking at the other possibilities of learning Modern Hebrew, I chose eTeacher, mostly because of the depth of the instruction.

I am taking Ulpan as a private course with Shoshi Yarden, who is a fantastic teacher with lots of enthusiasm and encouragement. She has a great sense of humor and makes the course fun.

Being in a real class/group of people at a similar level guided by a professional instructor while you are learning, interacting, and speaking Hebrew on everyday topics is light years ahead of any language app!

Niva ben Yaakov is a wonderful teacher, and I love the one-on-one lessons - so much better than the group lessons.

I am an older student, so not much of a fan of computers. As a result, I have needed a good bit more assistance than a younger person who is more computer adept. Your service is always prompt, patient and willing to listen and solve my problems. Thank you!

I've been a student of Rosen for 3 1/2 years and am currently in level 5. Before Rosen, I tried teaching myself with books and even Rosetta Stone, but I wasn't making any progress. I love the structure and the method Rosen uses, and I love my teacher(yep, same one so far, by request). My teacher isn't easy, and at times I struggle and feel absolutely clueless, but I am building a great foundation and loving every minute of it.

I have made friends and even met two of my classmates in person. I am learning to speak Hebrew, and can write it fairly well. I recommended the class to two friends and both have enrolled in Hebrew level 2.

I was very pleased with the class and Orna, my teacher. I think I have been able to get quite a bit from this first class. I hope I can continue on in the future.

I would like to suggest just few small things that I belive will only improve the course: 1. Students with whom a teacher is not interacting should mute the microphone in order to reduce echo and noises 2. Have a record in your dashboard if you missed a class in order to go back and go through it later 3. If a teacher is asking a new question (as per lesson program) it would be nice if that question could be explained first in a language that student speaks. Appart from these 3 small things I am pretty impressed by this course. It's a good start for me personally.

Curricula and teachers are excellent. I have taken several courses, from intermediate to advanced levels. The material is very well designed for on line learning, and there is ample opportunity to interact with the teachers and students. Highly recommended.

My struggles are purely my own as I have forgotten how to read in and write in Hebrew although I understand most of the words once they are spoken
