Would never recommend this company to anyone. No Communication. Long wait for goods.

I ordered chairs from them earlier this year and all was well so I recently ordered and paid for more of the same chair about 3 weeks ago. They have yet to arrive, there are no responses to my e-mails and their phone appears to be disconnected. DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE PEOPLE!

OHHHHH MY GOD this company is the worse I have ever dealt with how the hell are they in business?? I have spent over $1500 online paid and still 6 weeks later nothing, no cal back no email reply no furniture!!!
where do I go ??? I am so frustrated, I am just a start up business a single mum that's trying to make ends meet and I get a company like this to rip me off!!

It has now been 6 weeks since I placed my order and we are still yet to receive our order.
We were promised that the order would arrive last Wednesday and this was not the case.

Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Rockdale Office Furniture. The chairs we purchased are great value for money and were delivered to our door, free of charge.

Worst company I have ordered anything off 6 weeks I still don't have my order ! I have called at 4 time a week get told someone will call me back they don't ! I have emailed them no email back !
Today the lady laughed at me when I asked to speck with a manager or owner of the business.

have called them over 20 times since my order was placed for 2 chairs on the 18th of may...lost count of how many emails I have sent and times I was told I would get a call back. Was told 2 fridays ago my chairs would arrive (they did not) was told last friday they would arrive (they did not) still waiting for them and its 27 of july.
Cant even get a call back to get a refund.....launched a complaint with the ombudsman. I would say based on all the other comments here this company will not last very long....

I just checked the ASIC Website, they are under Administration. I rang the insolvency company and they are sending out letters to creditors as we speak. First creditors meeting will be held on 17th September. I am owed $3000. Never got any furniture! So annoyed.

I have had the same experience as everyone else but with their other company J R Office Furniture. I ordered and paid for office furniture for a small NFP business that I run. We cannot afford to be ripped off to the tune of $720
The Owner DID contact me saying they were experiencing difficulties and hoped it would be resolved. he was polite, not rude at all, but the situation is NOT acceptable. I have asked for a refund and I am waiting.....
I have given him an ultimatum and if I have not had a satisfactory outcome by COB Monday I will be taking action.
I have also spoken to my bank who intend to take the matter to the fraud squad if I authorise it

Still awaiting delivery
Was informed last week, stock was in the warehouse and our order was forgotten.
Delivery promised by 30/5 , not received.
Call your office to speak with a Customer Service manager, awaiting a call back.
Poor Service, would never order off ROF again

Ordered a simple single 4-drawer pedestal on 19th July. 28th August today and not a peep. 3 emails, 7 phone calls - nothing. Have some respect Rockdale. I was in the business of credit card processing for 5 years and I recognise these signs. If you have an order outstanding and you paid by credit card, charge back now.
If 1 star = Bad – unacceptable experience, unreasonable and rude conduct. Tick, tick and tick.

We ordered a chair on or before 4 April 2018. We were advised it would arrive between 18/4 and 20/4. (That in itself seemed excessive for a single chair)
A few days later I requested a change and suggested the Joshua Visitors Chair, but requested that Ellen check the dimensions to see if there was a chair that would better suit our needs in a very confined space. She said she'd get back to me.
I followed up twice more with Ellen who apologised and promised to get back to me.
When I followed up on Monday 23 April I was advised by Sophie that Ellen had left the business.
On the 23/4 we opted to take the Joshua Visitors Chair.
It took a week to sort out the partial refund on the previously paid amount for original chair.
On Monday 14 May I emailed Sophie requesting an ETA on the Joshua Visitors Chair.
Wednesday 16 May Sophie advised it should be out by the next week.
3 weeks later on Wednesday 6 June – still no chair – I emailed Sophie asking where our chair was.
Over a week has now passed and I have received no reply from Sophie, nor a delivery of a chair.
Follow up on anything in this has been terrible and often non-existent.
Updates have not been forthcoming, with it left to me to continually ask what is going on.
Over 10 weeks has passed since this all began and over 4 weeks since I have been given any information at all.
I will say that everyone I have spoken to has been very pleasant to deal with on the phone...
But unfortunately this is completely and utterly negated by the overall experience that is still ongoing.

Very nice employees, very easy to use online purchase facility. I like the tracking facility and Emails updating progress of orders. I am looking forward to receiving the items I purchased. There is a good choice for each category and cost is good.

Ordered chair to be delivered within 2 weeks, 5 weeks later still waiting.
Asked to talk to manager about it....telephonist just hung up. Treatment all along has been shocking.

After ordering a filing cabinet I received an email a week later indicating it should be ready for delivery in 7-10 business days. After that time frame had passed I rang and was told, ‘oooops, did no one call you? That item is out of stock and won’t be in again for at least another 2.5 weeks’ I’m now waiting for my refund.

It has been over 7 weeks now and I have not received my order, I a few weeks ago they were taking my calls and I had 2 delivery dates they assured me that it would be here. This week I have called and emailed everyday, all I get is an answering service and no replies.
Next stop is Consumer affairs, Is this company in existence? extremely upset, we are a charity and they have taken our money.

It was a fairly straight forward process and the chair arrived assembled, which was spectacular. Nothing worse than having to assemble the furniture yourself.

My experience with purchasing my office chair from Rockdale Office Furniture was excellent. I found the staff to be very good & helpful with my selection & I was also very impressed with the free car wash at the premises next door where I was able to park my car whilst making my purchase (on presentation of my docket) & where I was also able to sit & enjoy a coffee before driving home.

Very unreliable, my order which I placed more than 2 weeks ago hasn't been shipped yet. When you call their office if you are lucky enough for somebody to pick up, they can't give you any information...

Very poor customer service. 3 weeks to deliver (so far) and 5 seperate phone calls, each promising to call me back but none did!!
