I took my family to experience some good old English folk history, and the Robin Hood Legacy was found through google. My 3 kids were extremely excited and the young lady working on the Saturday morning was friendly and gave the kids each a coin to give to the beggers or the bow maker. The sad part of this is that whilst all the displays are well equipped and informative, there was no interaction. No where did any begger ask for 'the coin' and the bow makers room was empty. I was left speechless and my kids and my wife and I left the venue extremely disappointed. It was no fault of the young lady who assisted us and took payment, but she did not know how to react when I told her that I had wasted over £20 for half an hour of disappointment. Thank goodness the castle was across the road which made up for the shocking experience and 2 hour drive. I would never recommend this centre to anyone for the price...not even if it was for free. If there was a reason for our disappointment, then I would like to know...but please treat this as a caution and learn from my mistake...don't waste your money...it is very disappointing.
