I own a store called KRP Music. DO NOT USE THEIR SHIPPING PROTECTION OR BUY LABELS FROM THEM. Its a scam and when they deny your claim, you have no recourse!

The fees is all they care about. On your first sale you have to wait until things are delivered. That is a bs policy . Watch out for fees you dont notice like protection garbage. Just avoid this place or do like most, have it pay paled as friends and family and avoid their fees. lousy place to sell gear.

I have had several issues in the past with people wanting refunds for items that are in perfect condition, and it has happened again. As a result of these past issues, I set my preferences in my shop to "no refunds" as I am not a business so I don't have thousands of dollars as a "cushion". I am just an enthusiast who occasionally sells equipment that I no longer use or am no longer interested in or need a little extra money for the holidays, etc. Even though I checked "no refunds" in my shop profile, I am still being forced to provide a refund on an item that was sold "as-is" with literally nothing wrong with it because the buyer says there are scratches on the guitar. There were zero scratches on the guitar when I shipped it so who's to say that it wasn't scratched by the buyer after the item arrived? I promptly called customer service who proceeded to argue with me and the best response she could come up with regarding the guitar being scratched after it was delivered was "Oh, well that doesn't usually happen..". Ok, REALLY? Reverb then sent me a message stating they would manually refund the money from my account in 24 hours if I don't do it. Again, completely contradictory to the "no refund" option I selected in my shop profile, and also the fact that there is literally NOTHING wrong with the guitar that I sold! This is a false policy and sellers beware that apparently anyone can return anything if they just plain don't like it, given the proper excuse to Reverb. Reverb should really obide by their own policies and practice a little more professionalism and stand up for the low-level sellers more than they do. I am canceling my shop and I strongly encourage low-level sellers to do the same. Unfortunately, I will just have to stick with good old Craigslist.

FENDER VINTAGE GUITARS ON REVERB?
I have been collecting for 45 years, was number one Fender Custom Shop Dealer for 8 years, top seller on Reverb for three years.
Guess What: The Custom Shop employees at Fender don't know a thing about vintage guitars! In fact John Cruz is a good friend and an excellent builder but would not know a vintage guitar if it bit him in the Butt! Look at Reverb on here, worlds biggest scam artists and rip offs! Fender is the lying bullshitting corporate rip off artist! Together they will carve you a new Butt. They are the most dishonest cheating rip offs in the guitar world, I know this 1st hand and don't care if they read this as I am wealthy in the vintage guitar market by being smart and honest. Don't be stupid, stay clear of Reverb, they will rip you off. Stick with the small reputable Vintage Guitar Shops and be careful with your money....

Had to chase payment for every single sale I've made. Seriously, don't even bother with reverb they hold onto your money for no good reason. Sell your item elsewhere and save yourself the hassle. You have been warned.

They stand behind you through any purchase or sale. I've had a few transactions on reverb - each has gone great, except for with one seller who fraudulently represented they were selling a synthesizer (Virus Ti2) and accepted $1200 - claiming it was in mint condition. It arrived with 3 broken keys, but only 2 in the bag / box. Obviously if it had been broken in shipping there would have been damage on the packaging and the other key would be there. Reverb refunded $400 to have it repaired, and I did through a Metro Sound in Richmond. They fixed the keys and the midi connector for $160. However, after getting the synth back, I soon learned it had other issues with the mainboard - and it also wasn't a Virus TI2 but a TI. Fraud all the way. I contacted Reverb again - now 2 months after the initial purchase - and they refunded the remaining balance!!! and provided a return shipping label via UPS. The fraud one is on its way back and I just got a great deal on a mint condition Ti2! Thanks Reverb.com!!!

Really good service, low seller fees compared with other selling sites. I use Reverb a lot (buying and selling), and have had, overall, a great experience. Their shipping fees and seller protection add-on fees are usually high, but I usually just purchase my shipping & insurance elsewhere.
I even sold an item that I didn't purchase shipping protection for get lost in the mail, and Reverb reimbursed me.

Refunded me the wrong amount. I had 2 orders. One for 125 and another for 55. The order for 125 was cancelled but issued a refund for 55. I tried to explain what happened but they kept telling me I was incorrect. I was told that it would be up to me to prove to my bank that reverb refunded the correct amount. The staff is very rude. One guy told me I was reading my bank wrong. Others told me it was impossible I had a refund already.

Reverb staff do want to help they are just not competent. In open and shut cases they get confused and complex situations are just ridiculous. After two years of buying and selling a seller ask if my street name were one word or two. It is two and he said thanks. Reverb notified me my payment had been cancelled and sent a reminder to pay. I got a reminder to pay popup so I payed for the item again. They instantly cancelled the payment and sent a reminder to pay for my purchase. They had decided to cancel my purchases because my street name should have been two words and would not refund the payments because my address was wrong. I instantly changed the street name (which has worked for 2 years) making it two words. A month later I am still hoping the item will arrive and funds will come back.
I have 5 or 6 other very stupid things they have done. Be warned.

So, I see most of the comments are from sellers, I've been trying to buy a bass through Reverb but the seller won't communicate, I've done the offer thing, (so close I might as have paid full money ), sent messages, wittered to the folk on reverb who give me conflicting information. The seller states states that the instrument was used by someone famous but makes no attempt to prove it, could be just one the same colour ! It's been for sale for a year now although I've just found it, he has turned down every offer , has no feedback score and I'm now too wary to click to buy. Major scam looming but reverb don't seem to care. What a shame.

Very bad customer service. Still haven't received a payment from them in over two weeks. I would not use them again, just use ebay, you'll pay more but at at least you wont have to wait forever

Every transaction I've done on Reverb, as both seller and buyer, has been excellent, and I believe their commission is reasonable and well-earned. Sure, sometimes the takes a while to get paid (never more than a week, I think), but it's a small organization so I understand. Fortunately, I've never needed to invoke the Reverb Guarantee, but the fact that there is one is comforting.

Reverb.com is the best place for musicians to buy, sell and trade pretty much anything related to their passion for music. Everything from popular guitars to obscure parts for obsolete electronics may be found on the site.

I have made several guitar pedal purchases from Reverb users and have never had any issues. It's a simple to use as any other auction or buy-it-now sites, with the added bonus that it is focused entirely on musical gear.
I have always been able to find what i was looking for, and have always been able to find it at a very competitive price.
The only thing to watch for is users that offer great prices but charge exorbitant shipping - an issue with most sites of this type.
I highly recommend Reverb

Reverb is a "place" where people, mostly musicians, are putting instruments, both new and used, on sale. unlike another site, Reverb does not have auctions...but frequently, have an item advertised with "best offer' .
Often, musicians encourage customers to ask questions, gain inFormation, so that the buyer can make the most educated choice and
purchase. This also evolves into a communication between seller and buyer, a pleasant experience !with the emphasis on honesty. Reverb staff are also available....... THANK YOU, REVERB!

What I love most about Reverb:
It is mostly a huge community of musicians who sell/buy gear in a "treat people the same way you want them to treat you" spirit. Never had a bad experience, everyone is very courteous and respect each others and prices are fair... And if the price tag is a bit too high for you, try a reasonable offer and it will be usually accepted. And if you really are on a hunt for an incredible deal or a very specific article, just save your search/filters preferences accordingly and you will be informed by e-mail if someone sell what you are looking for at the price you are willing to pay.
Reverb is also an excellent source of information on classic and vintage gear as well as on new products and trends. I always find something interesting in their newsletters.
But... Beware! Spending time on Reverb can be very addictive and encourage the Gear Acquisition Syndrome ;o)

I first joined Reverb to escape eBay's crazy fees, and since Reverb is dedicated to serving the musician community, it seemed like the perfect market to sell and purchase new gear for us gear junkies.
My first sale occurred on one of the worst days of my life. I had a Fender Floyd Rose tremolo on the site awhile, and on September 1, 2017 was a day where my paycheck didn't come in, leaving me in a financial rut, and I got the call from the vet that my cat named LilyKat got a diagnosis of cancer.
So, here I was broke, with a cat with a bad prognosis and generally feeling terrible as it was a very deep low point in my life.
So, I'm sitting there feeling bad, and my phone beeped and to my surprise, my item sold and for the asking price! On one of the most absolute horrifically bad days this Reverb sale gave me hope and so totally made my day.
That is the main reason I love Reverb so much, not to mention all the services they offer, and the lower than eBay fees. I like the fact you can order boxes from them and their swag is pretty awesome too.
It's nice seeing how many businesses are selling instruments, both large and small, and I have had some really great conversations with my customers as well as venders.
Reverb is a great site and I'll always be a vender/customer for life!
