After talking directly with a representative of Resume-now over the phone he's convinced me in keeping this service a while longer to grasp all it has to offer. I look forward to receiving full details of all the benefits and services they offer.
It would be beneficial for Resume-Now to follow up with its clients after initial usage of their services just to make sure that they indeed realize that there is more than just accessing templates.

My daughter needed to create an updated resume before starting her freshman year of college so she could apply for jobs where she was going to school. We searched for a free resume builder and this site came up. The process to create the resume went fairly smoothly but at no point in building the resume did it ever say there would be a charge. After spending almost an hour creating her resume we finished and went to download it where we then found out the only way to save a copy of everything we just created was to pay a fee. There were a couple of options. One was a one time charge option or we could get a membership. Since she was just starting college we knew we weren't going to need any kind of membership anytime in the near future so we opted for the one time fee of $2.45, paid it and saved her resume. Today I just happened to check my bank account and noticed a fee of $9.85 from BLD resume. I then noticed that they had also charged my acct at the end of last month for this same amount. I called my daughter at school and asked her if she remembered seeing any sort of thing about a membership when we did her resume. She remembered the same as me.....a one time charge or membership option where we opted for the one time fee. I called customer service and explained to them that I never signed up for any account where they then told me they don't offer any one time option fee and that after 14 days you are enrolled in their membership. I told them I did not want this and would have never purchased anything if there would have been anything stated about a membership because again, I was not going to need this service anywhere in the near future. I also asked that I be refunded my money. I was told that I would not be able to be refunded for the charge last month but that she would see what she could do to help get me a portion of the most recent charge back. She then put me on hold and when she came back on the line told me they could only refund me 50% of the most recent charge (the charge just coming out of my account today). I expressed that I was not happy that they were not only not refunding both charges but that I was only getting back 50% of the one coming out today (and might I add still showing pending on my end). When I told her that she preceded to tell me that no it came out yesterday. I told her to refund what she said she would but that I would not be using them again nor would I ever recommend their service. She processed the transaction and said it would up to 7-10 days to receive my whole $4.93 they so "generously" were willing to give back. Side note....after hanging up I also realized I shouldn't have even been charged at all yet if I did in fact have a membership. We originally did this resume on 8/10/19. 14 days from that would have been 8/24/19 but it didn't come out of my acct until 8/27/19. Let's just say thought that it did process on 8/24 on their end I should not be due to be charged again for another day yet. So......not only will they not give me all of my money back I rightly deserve they also took money out of my account before it was due. I am just thankful that I was doing this with my daughter and had used my acct that day and that we didn't use my college daughters acct where she would then had wrongful charges on her acct.

The site was easy to use and efficient. Customer service using chat was very convenient and they surprised me by lowering their price upon canceling. I would deffinitely use them again, if I need to update my resume.

I called them twice, first person was a woman and she was ok but in the second time I spoke with a man who was extremely rude and kept talking over me insistently with an extremely disrespectful manner. Talks back when you tell him what he is doing is beyond rude and a terrible customer service.

Be careful when signing up for the one time use. I paid to use the companies services for the 14 day offer, however this does turn into a monthly subscription. Ensure you cancel the monthly payments if you only want to use the websites abilities for the 14 days. Good customer service who did refund me for one of the months after contacting them. The website was great and does help create a good CV just ensure you read the terms and conditions before paying.
