Excellent quality product and good service so far. It's replaced all my various notebooks and has saved me a lot of printing; I use it every day and I'm very pleased I got it. The handwriting experience is top-notch and the handwriting conversion works surprisingly well.
The price and features are clearly advertised, so I'm unsure why people mark them down for it. To me it's good value for money.

Terrible customer service, rude and arrogant.
Avoid this company like the plague.

I wanted one of these tablets so badly for so long and finally got my hands on one. As a writer, this thing has made my life easier. I have a tablet and a phone so I wasn't concerned about other reviewers complaints that it doesn't do much. All I wanted it to do was let me write and convert documents to text. I love this thing. Now I use it at work to view invoices so I don't have to print hundreds of pages of paper. I desperately wish I had had this thing in college. It's so light and easy to carry around, it would have been so convenient for all my classes. My only complaints are that the pen tips wear down too fast and the tablet isn't backlit like a Kindle Paperwhite. But these things are minimal compared to how much use I get out of it.

I got on the Kickstarter for this product and got it at a discounted price (still almost $500). It was the best tablet drawing experience I'd had yet, but I still prefer paper. The latency messed me up a little, and the tools weren't intuitive enough for me - if there's pressure sensitivity, I never noticed it. I gave it to my daughter because she loves all things electronic. She still draws on it infrequently.

My preconceived ideas of this tablet far exceeded the reality and as such my level of disappointment is great. £450.00 I hoped bought something very special, sadly not.
On the plus side as a pen and paper experience, all is pretty good, copying my actual handwriting fairly closely, a good physical size, and fairly robust in build. The pen again good build quality but the replacement cost of £59.00 is far too high, with the aluminium version coming in at a tad below £100.00, again more money than could be considered good value.
The background file systems for storing and organisation are clunky and the handwriting to typed text facility is very hit and miss. Worse still, any export or import does not allow for realtime editing of any text; PDF being the only import-export format, so if it's not created in"remarkable" all you can do is add notes, and again for the price not good enough
The e-reader is useless as it has no compatibility with Adobe Digital Editions, and without that, it will not open any EPUB books purchased from the like of Kobo, or any of the other non DRM book vendors, so PDF document reading is the best it can do.
It has no backlight, so any work in subdued lighting becomes difficult and is really the final nail in the coffin of a product that really only has one great quality its ability to offer the nearest to paper and pen experience which the Ipads and digital pens that compete with this tablet don't.
The 30 days no questions asked return policy is good and as such, I needed only a couple of days to decide that it really does need a lot more development and research to offer an acceptable experience to the end-user, and as such my disappointment is vast....
I'm very sad that it has to go back, but for me, I wouldn't be able to justify a place for it in my life in its present development.

Very expensive but I bought one anyway. Then I needed a replacement pen and found out just the pen costs £80 ($100). So the pricing sucks all around. To make matters worse, my desktop app has completely stopped working / syncing to the cloud. Which means I have not been able to upload new documents to my ReMarkable. Still in touch with support after initial remedies (logging out, reinstalling, etc) all failed.
This is not a long established high quality outfit. Decent product but you pay through your nose and reliability is an issue.

Horrible experience with the technology and with the company-avoid both!
Before I purchased the tablet, I checked the return policy which I remembered to be 30 days without restrictions. Once I received the tablet, I tried using for approximately 2 weeks, and found the technology cumbersome and their tech support lacking. I then tried to return the tablet, and they told me that I could not return because when I purchased the tablet, the return policy was 14 days and that I was 2 days over the time period. According to their customer service, they had changed their return policy from 2 weeks to 30 days several days after I purchased the tablet. They claim that they are a small company that puts the customer first; however, this is truly NOT the case. Their technology (for me) is inconvenient and difficult to navigate, their technology support was difficult to reach and not very helpful, and their customer service is HORRIBLE. Please avoid this tablet and this company. Given their true approach to their customers, they will not be in business very long!

Good product but very expensive.
Trying to get in touch with someone is impossible as there is no phone number. Sent an email and have been told there is a 10 working day response lead time and I am trying to return the tablet with great difficulty.
Very poor customer experience
