Bought a set running boards that showed up in a reasonable time frame for RealTruck. Followed instructions precisely, including torquing the 12 bolts that hold the running boards to the mounts to one ft/lb less than the lowest reading of 16 ft/lbs. 3 of the bolts snapped. Another one of those vendors who do not want any contact with customers, so the instruction tell you to contact the seller if there is any problems. So I contacted RealTruck and explained the problem and 2 days later got an e-mail from a customer service person wanting to know if I could go find the special bolts that snapped. RealTruck would be glad to give me a credit. Since I am a new resident of the 7th largest metro area in the US, there was little chance of finding a source for a item I could not locate using the internet. After that I got another e-mail that she would send the request to the vendor. Then a day later an e-mail that the vendor was sending me new bolts. The a week after the bolts broke, an envelope showed up with 6 new bolts.

Response to the response. Anyone reading this should get a first hand view of how awful their service is. I've been talking to them since 3/30/19 trying to get the equipment they discuss in the reply. 5 months of trying and suddenly they'll be able to get it to me? Let me know a number I can call you directly at and then I'll update this review to let everyone know that you can't get service at all.

Take a look at the conversation I had with John Baker for the last 5 months I suppose his title is customer service but it should be “I don’t care and I am going to string you along until you give up or blow up.” I understand that's a long title To fit on a business card and I’m sure you won’t work to complete it s as you don’t follow through on anything. Such an awful company. This company jerked me around for 8 months before telling me they’d have to replace an entire electric box. So instead of a$M $30 remote, they wanted $250. The cover cost over $2,000

Purchased a exhaust system from Real Truck that was reccomended by the salesperson on the phone to replace stock system on my 2019 GMC Canyon, told me I would get a deeper sounding tone, instead of the blender stock sound, after a couple of weeks waiting for a delivery I had to call them back to ask what was happening and after a couple days I was sent an email stating that exhaust would be shipped from GIBSON directly to me. Received it a few days later, had it installed and was totally suprised by the sound in the cab of truck, sounded like someone rubbing metal against metal through all the gears until i reached 60-70 MPH the it quieted down, Horrible sounds in the cab , Had to have it removed and re- install original. Tried to contact Realtruck and in typical fashion they pushed it onto Gibson and Gibson said it cant do anything for me because i installed it, so i now have a exhaust system sitting in my shed and I am out a total cost of $1,221.00 for my dealings with REALTRUCK, customer service does NOT exist

I have been attempting to make a return since September 3rd.
When I called in to request the RA and return label I was helped immediately and was told I should have more information within 2 days. After my initial interaction, it has been like pulling teeth to get any help. I have sent 3 emails with no response. After the second email, I called in and was told I would have my label by EOD. The end of day came and passed and still no label. It is now September 23rd and I still have no label to return my product. I was planning on buying other parts for my new Ram from Real Truck but after this customer service experience i will for sure go somewhere else

I received my nerf bars fairly quickly, but they were damaged. I opened a support ticket that same day. The next day I received an email from Steve asking for photos of the product and packaging..... and THAT WAS THE LAST I EVER HEARD FROM STEVE. He never wrote back to tell me the return was accepted, never supplied and RMA, nothing. I emailed every single day for 8 full days just asking for an update. All I wanted to know was the status of this ticket. Not once.... not one single time... did Steve, or anyone else at realtruck, reply to my email.
The online chat people, at first, kept telling me that I could ONLY get answers from Steve. No one else could answer my questions. Then I was told to take it up with the manufacturer myself. Then that they wouldn't accept the return. Then that my money was on the way (it wasn't) then that I had to return the item to get my money...... but I had to get an RMA from Steve first. I was still emailing him multiple times a day and he simply would NOT reply. Ever. You don't treat customers like that.
Finally I told them I'd be reaching out to the CEO of the company. I was immediately transferred to the customer service supervisor. She took care of the return and had my money back to me in minutes. For 8 solid days of bombarding them with emails.... it took mere minutes to actually process.
After it was all concluded, my money returned and ticket closed, I FINALLY received an email from Steve: The first email I'd ever received from him............ it was a customer satisfaction survey. It took me a while to stop laughing.

Ordered window deflectors the rear ones were damaged. Called and they sent an email to respond to which I did. Nothing so I tried chat said they would get back to me...NO. Called again...yes they received my email and would update, but person handling it was not there they would get back with me...NO. I also ordered expensive seat covers that they billed me for...manufacturer called and told me it would be 6 to 8 weeks...Real Truck never mentioned that and I chatted with a supposed real person to order.
I will be contacting my credit card company regarding the window deflectors and just in case there is problem with the seat covers I'm not getting for awhile too (just in case it goes past the time you can file a dispute).

Ordered a Tonneau cover and seat covers for my Tacoma from them. They never arrived. Followed up with them a few times and was told, that takes 20 days to ship the items. Got tired of waiting. Especially since the seat covers could be ordered from Amazon and guaranteed to arrive in 3 days, so I cancelled my order.
RealTruck gave me the run around. Made me wait another day before getting me in touch with their "Cancellation Department". Then Amy Spagna contacts me and says I can call her directly anytime to resolve any issues. I call, no one answers. I leave a message and tell them to cancel my order immediately and issue a refund.
Amy calls back and says they can't cancel my order because it miraculously shipped this morning. But I never got a tracking number or shipping notification. I tell her to cancel and refund my money. She says, if I cancel I will owe RealTruck $500 for freight on an order that I never received. I told her to cancel my order and refund my money.
She hung up on me.
I am now working with my financial institution to issue a chargeback and possibly file fraud charges if realtruck.com insists upon charging me the $500 for the items that never shipped, never had tracking numbers, or shipping notifications.
Save yourself the time, money and aggravation and steer clear of these slimy scam bandits.

Purchased step/nerf bars for my Ford truck. Same bars from manufacturer and other vendors showed 1-5 day shipping depending on certain variables and RealTruck.com price was a little cheaper and shipping was free. Ordered on 6/16 and money was withdrawn from my account immediately (Sunday). A week went by and I hadn't received any shipping info. Upon logging in to my customer account I noticed order was listed as pending fulfillment/order number unavailable. I did online chat which was based out of North Dakota and completely pointless. I believe their online chat is a robot and/or software only. Called and was informed that the product would ship in 10 to 20 business days. I had to lose my temper to even get an order number. On days 18, 19, 20, 21, and 22 I called and tried the bot chat over and over as well as sent daily emails. No calls or emails returned and bot chat answered as expected. Finally was able to talk to an agent and said I was done and to please cancel my order - they stated order would be submitted to cancellation department and this could take 1-3 business days to approve before a refund could be submitted. Still no word on a shipping date. Seriously?? While on the phone with my bank to dispute the charge and and label real truck as fraudulent I get an email stating Fedex had delivered the item to my door. What the Heck man?? I have yet to get home and inspect the product. I'm prepared for the worst......

I placed an order with Real Truck on 06/10/2018 for Car Hart seat covers. I have still not received them. They have given me every excuse possible. First, I was told it would take 30-40 days due to a back log of orders. Next, I was told it would take 30 business days. Now it is 4-6 weeks for just shipping them out. In few days it will be Monday 08/05/2019. According to my calendar it will have been 8 weeks or 40 business days. I have had enough of this company. On Monday I will demand a refund.

BEWARE!!! You have been warned!...I would give no star if possible. Horrible customer service, no courtesy no apologies, no care, very unprofessional, they won't answer calls just online chat or email. Ordered wheels, took 2 weeks of waiting, only for myself to call to find out order still pending. Recieved an email 3 days later saying they were permanently out of stock, and that they would have to refund me no later than 5 days after they know they are out of stock. Well they were about a week past that time frame, and now I'm closer to 20 days and still no refund. Wheels aren't cheap, starting to believe this place is a scam. "GO BUY YOUR STUFF SOMEWHERE ELSE"!!!!!!!

this company used to be good but now less than 1 star, placed an order was told it would ship from California (lie) after three days of trying to get updates was finally told it was coming from Indiana and would be at least 4 days transit. Don't trust nothing they say and with out a doubt order from another company. the customer service sucks and the management does not care, this is a shell company that takes orders to be fulfilled by third party companies and they grab your money fast to make a nice profit while making you wait on your product and if you cancel the order then it takes them 2-3 weeks to get your money back so they can hold it longer and probably make payroll. will never do any business with them again Amazon has better customer support than this company has

Order a bumper took a few weeks to recieve that was fine. Finally recieved bumper it and it's for the wrong truck. I sent pics of bumper and all paper work recieved with bumper. They have acknowledged that it is in fact the wrong bumper but it's been weeks . I order rhe correct bumper but they sent the wrong one. Keep asking for more info just give me rhe part I ordered or my money back so I can take my business elsewhere.

30 day satisfaction guarantee applies only if you haven't installed the tonneau cover. How you gonna know if you like it if you don't? Item doesn't work, they won't return it! Here's their response:

Wish I would have looked at reviews first. Ordered the Aries running boards and had tons of problems with no help from customer service. They are no more than a middle man who has to go through the mfg for everything since they support nothing more than a answering service for the mfg. I manage a complaint department and we would be out of business if we provided this type of service. I would think the mfg would look at reviews for who sells their products to see these middle distributors are driving their products in the ground. After over a month we have running boards that now work but ridiculous process for a $1800 set of power running boards that we do like just hope no more issues.

I purchased a set of canvas seat covers for my Tacoma. They came in mismatched. Real Truck would not refund nor replace the items. Buyer Beware! Spend your money elsewhere and steer clear of this company.

This people think I'm stupid, I ordered a retraxpro mx, the wide rails were not the original ones, They sent me some cheap rails, the cover color is all uneven, they don't DESERVE to be on tge market, the only original from retrax was the box, unless they fake the box as well, DO NOT BUY FROM REAL TRUCK go to the original retrax website is only one hundred more and get all oroginal parts, I wish I could return it without paying fees,

Service is horrible and have been transferred to 5 different Customer Service Representatives all with no satisfaction and results. I own and operate and Automotive Repair garage and if I treated my customers this way I would be out of Business within weeks. I have filled a charge back on my credit card till my issue is resolved.

Customer Service is absolutely terrible. I literally had to fight with a lady for a refund on a wheel that NEVER got to my house. NEVER shipped. The wheel was on backorder but I called almost every week to find out the ETA but nothing. I do not know when the money is going to be back in my account... lady hung up on me.

The mirror itself was actually pretty nice, good quality. It was the customer service that was unbelievably horrible. They had to be almost trying to be that bad.
My husband, a mechanic and contractor, ordered some mirrors for his truck and the wirring was Messed up. Both mirrors moved, even when you only have one selected. Then when you hit the up, down, left, right, they went the wrong Frieken way.
Trying to be understanding that things like then happened, we contacted customer service. It took them an AVERAGE of 3 weeks to return a call or email. It seemed that if they ignored us long enough we would go away.
And when they finally called us back, they could not answer any questions because they had no knowledge of their own product, and spec D was absolutely no help either. They just wanted them sent back so they can re send us some that MIGHT not be wired correctly either.
So, while waiting in the shipping label, My husband hooked his truck up and the mirrors and sent them hand drawn schematics of the wiring and where the issue lies (about 4 hours of labor he did for them, for free) They just ignored us some more, so at risk of ruining the warranty, my husband cut the wires, 're wired it correctly, and they work fine now.
2 weeks later we get an email saying their job is done, they have filed our case as complete and if we want to get our mirrors fixed, we need to go straight to the manufacture.
For the love of all that is good, DO NOT USE REAL TRUCK. They will ignore you and your problems till you go away or just pass the buck onto someone else!
